Kaneki winced as Hide tightened his grip. His eye began to send searing pain throughout his body. They started walking upon a bridge like thing.

"Kaneki, are you eating right?" Hide asked.

Kaneki nodded his head, blatantly lieing to his best friend. In all truth,  he hadnt eaten anything in a while. He didnt want to eat, becouse then he would be exposing his ghoul side.

"Im going to Nishiki senpai! Coming, Kaneki"

Once again Kaneki nodded. They ran along the old road then into the city again. The two traveled towards an apartment block

"Nishiki senpai"

Hide walked in, not knocking. There was a scarlet faced girl with red hair to match on Nishikis lap. She got up and ran away.

They walked down town.

"You hungry?" Nishiki asked the two. 

Over the last while Kaneki had started working for Anteiku. While out shopping for coffee he met Nishiki amd then once more when he tried to kill him for invasion on his territory.

Kaneki placed the waffle like object jnto his pocket. Hide ate it up and Nishiki nibbled at it slowly.

The came to a gap between two large buildings. Nishiki extended his leg, kicking Hide into the ally.

"So, when were you gonna eat him?"

Kaneki looked taken a back. Eat Hide? Never. Kaneki threw a frail punch at Nishiki, which he gracefully dodged. Getting annoyed, Kaneki threw more, never hitting. Nishiki had enough. He punched Kaneki, sending him flying. Little did the two know, they had an audience. Hide was looking at the one sided battle.

"Come on Kaneki! I believe in you!" Hide screamed within his mind.

Kaneki was fed up, tired and fatigued. He released his kagune. I soared through the crisp air. But, Nishiki was too fast. He stabed Kaneki with his kagune, letting his thick human/ghoul blood flow.

"Sorry, did I get your meal dirty?"

That was the last thing Kaneki heard before passing out.

He woke up in Anteiku. Hide. Kaneki had to find Hide. He felt hest rise to his cheeks. He was confused. Hide. Hide. Hideyoshi. Hideyoshi Nagachika. With each word he felt heat burning his face. He never did have power upon his feelings and emotions, this was no different. He was sure he loved Hide. In fact, as Kaneli dwelled deeper into thought, he was for a while.

"Hide!" He shouted as he bursted through the doors of the room he was told Hide was in.

"Kaneki?"

"Yeah? What is it?"

"I like your kagune!"

Kaneki blushed. Of course. Hide was so kind, but could also partake in teasing. Hide stood up. He walked towards Kaneki. Kaneki could feel intense heat in his cheeks.

"You're cute when you blush"

Hide?! Kaneki was confused. Hide thought he looked cute? This madeno sense.

"Sheesh man, calm down. I was messing!"

Hide pulled Kaneki into a hug.

"Exept, what if I wasnt?"
