Kaneki felt a grin tugging at the corners of his mouth.

"What if you werent?"

Hide looked at Kaneki. The had been best friends since an early stage. Hide always knew about his feelings for Kaneki.  Never did he show them though, for fear of losing his best friend.

"Do you want an answer, Kaneki kun?"

"Yes, Hide kun"

Hide and Kanekis cheeks both turned the same scarlet pink. Hide stared into Kanekis gray orbs. He took off Kanekis eyepatch. He liked him better this way. Hide couldn't contain him self any longer. He placed his soft lips upon Kanekis. He shut his eyes. The kiss was passionate. Kaneki kissed back. Showing the same passion. The kiss was full of love. They broke the kiss desperate for air.
