As the two walked, Kokichi snacked on one of the candies. He wasn't paying attention to the scenery much as he was only focused on his sweet treat "This is sooo yummy Shuichi!!" He said with a loud hum and giggled. Shuichi smiled softly at him as he glanced around at where they were

He didn't want their date to end too soon as he retreated into his mind and ran through a list of possible places he could take kokichi. While in thought, he had stopped paying attention to his surroundings. Kokichi not completely sure where to go kept walking until he noticed the park

His eyes lit up as he turned to look back at Shuichi before noticing he wasn't paying attention. He pouted lightly but didn't do anything about it as he grabbed his hand, intertwining their fingers as he pulled him towards the park.

Kokichi had a blush on his face as he felt the warmth of Shuichi's hand in his own, he smiled to himself as he kept eating the sweet he had. His eyes wandered to the various trees that surrounded them

"Hmph... Shuichi is so mean!! Making me find my way around here!!" He said quietly, complaining to himself before glancing back at Shuichi then looking away

Once Shuichi realized he was out of ideas, he noticed he was in a different place. He took a quick look around before realizing he was at the park, this confused him as he remembered the two weren't walking towards the park.

He had stopped walking as he tried to understand how they got here until he noticed he was holding Kokichi's hand, this made his blush as he got very flustered. Kokichi noticed Shuichi had stopped and also stopped walking, confused as to why he stopped

He turned around and looked over at Shuichi with a small look of confusion "Shuichi?" He questioned and concluded that Shuichi was finally out of his thoughts. Shuichi looked up from his hands when he heard his name and stared at kokichi before clearing his throat

"How did we..?" He trailed off, knowing he didn't need to finish it for Kokichi to understand

Kokichi giggled at this before moving closer to Shuichi and swung their arms lightly "Well!! While you were busy lost in your daydreams, I decided I wanted to check out the park!!" He explained, only partly lying. Shuichi nodded at this, slightly embarrassed that he was stuck in his thoughts for that long

"I-I see... sorry about that..." He said and apologized, feeling a bit guilty. Kokichi tilted his head a bit before smiling brightly

"Silly Shuichi!! It's no biggie! Stop taking everything so personally!!" He told him with a slight frown. Shuichi chuckled lightly at this and nodded

"Right right..." He said and stopped as he knew he would've apologized again

"Anyway! This park is super calming! I feel all my worries drifting away!! Yours should too!!" Kokichi told him. Shuichi had suddenly realized he felt an oddly calm feeling from being here. He hummed in agreement to Kokichi

The two had started walking once again, after a bit Shuichi cleared his throat "Did you... want to go back home?" He asked Kokichi quietly and nervously waited for an answer. Kokichi had glanced back at Shuichi before looking forward

"If my beloved wants to then sure! Anywhere he goes is my favorite place to be!!" He said happily and giggled lightly as he glanced back and noticed Shuichi's flustered face.

Shuichi had soon grabbed Kokichi's hand and made them both stop walking. He then pulled Kokichi closer towards him as his face turned a deeper shade. Kokichi was confused on what he wanted as he didn't do anything else

Kokichi quickly scanned Shuichi's face before his eyes lit up and he got a smirk "Oh! Does my beloved want a kiss?~ Is that it?? Was my Shuichi too embarrassed to ask me for one??" He questioned, already knowing the answer but he loved to tease Shuichi

Shuichi swallowed dryly and nodded his head slowly as he avoided eye contact with Kokichi. "Well, if that's all then I can always comply!~" He said in a soft voice before putting his hands in both sides of Shuichi's face and angling it so he was now staring at him. Kokichi had a wide grin but his face also had a blush as he stood on his toes, giving Shuichi a kiss

Shuichi had kissed back before the two stood there in awkward silence, Kokichi decided to take the initiative. While letting out a fake yawn, he moved back from Shuichi and stretched a bit "maaan- I'm super tired! Shuichi can we please go home now? Unless you want me to collapse on the ground??" He accused with a small pout

Shuichi blinked a few times at this outburst before letting out a small chuckle "Kokichi... it isn't that late yet, but I guess we can go back" he said, giving in

Kokichi smiled brightly and cheered at this small victory as he grabbed Shuichi's hand and squeezed it lightly "Then let's go home my beloved"

Kokichi's light smile made him feel a little more at ease, but he was still feeling an overarching feeling of nervousness burning inside of his brain. He was so worried about doing something wrong and he was worried that Kokichi wanted to go back because he wasn't entertaining him enough...

"Y-yeah..." He stuttered before walking back with Kokichi by his side. There weren't a lot of other people walking around at this time and it was calmign in a way. Sure it was weird to see a town with barely any people walking around, but that gave them the time to themselves. Honesty, Shuichi was thankful that there wasn't a big crowd...because that would have made him feel even more nervous around Kokichi.

Don't get him wrong, he doesn't dislike spending time with Kokichi in anyway. The whole 'boyfriends' thing was making him flustered. Knowing that he and Kokichi were now more than what they were before, not just friends, but now they are together as boyfriends. The whole situation was making his brain go haywire.

"So, Shu~ how did you enjoy the date? Because you seem off~" Kokichi teased gently tilting his head at Shuichi. Shuichi took a moment before he processed the words Kokichi had said.

"Y-yeah! S-sorry I made you think that! I-I enjoyed the date!" He said moving his free hand to cover the blush coming across his cheeks. Sadly, before he was able to hide his embarrassment Kokichi grabbed his hand.

"You know I love seeing your face Shu-Chan~!" He exclaimed, gently poking his cheek for emphasis. Shuichi blushed more at this but didn't say anything.

"Aww~ Did I go too far this time~?" He asked in a teasing tone before he yawned again. He felt tired, like tired for real. It took him a moment to process that he was...but he didn't want to fall asleep now and make Shuichi carry him the whole way back.

"K-kokichi?" He immediately noticing that Kokichi's head was bobbing up and down. He frowned a bit and wrapped his arm around Kokichi making him blush instead.

"H-hey! What are you doing?!" He yelped not liking to accept that he needed some help.

"I'm carrying you because you look like you are about to fall over..." He whispered as they approached the hill in front of the cabin. Kokichi looked up at the hill and his vision went fuzzy. What the hell is going on? He thought to himself as his body fell against Shuichi's

Shuichi jumped a bit at the random touch, but he was already worried about Kokichi...so that's what came to his mind before the embarrassment could take over.

"You should get some rest...here let me carry you." He said in a more ordering tone than Kokichi would expect from such a timid boy.

"Mmm" He mumbled before Shuichi picked him up in bridal style. So, his arms were against his chest and his legs were dangling over Shuichi's arm as he held him up. He walked a little faster so Kokichi could get back inside so he could rest...Shuichi was thinking that maybe the boy hadn't gotten enough rest, but he did see him eat this morning...at least that's what he remembered.

"Shu..." Kokichi whispered as Shuichi rushed into the cabin making sure to lock the door behind him. Shuichi looked down at him and gently planted a kiss on his forehead before whispering.

"Just close your eyes and rest ok?" He moved him into the bed they had slept in the night prior and tucked him in. Making sure the blanket was wrapped around him so he would be warm. Kokichi looked up at him one more time before he fell into sleep.
