"Y-you wanted to... date me right..?" He questioned, feeling his blush get bigger from embarrassment. Kokichi had giggled at this before humming.

"Yeah I did, what about it?~" He asked and stared at Shuichi, curious about what Shuichi was gonna do.

"Well... i want to, date with you too..!" He said quickly and avoided eye contact as he waited for an answer. Kokichi was caught of guard by this, his smiley expression dropping into a face of shock before going back.

"Hmmm, is that so?" He said nonchalantly as he suddenly moved away from shuichi and smiled at him "Well, my beloved. Since both of us are dating, what does that make us?~" he asked and giggled.

"Y-you don't know?" Shuichi was confused by this as he thought sirens would've known. Kokichi got a smirk on his face as he spoke.

"Nope!! I have no idea!! Sooo, why don't you tell me?~" Kokichi was obviously going to milk this situation for all its worth "Since the two of us are technically together now! What does that make us?" Kokichi's favorite thing to do, he's learned, is teasing shuichi and seeing how red he can make him.

Shuichi had become a stuttering mess as he hid his face and calmed down a bit before speaking "b-boyfriends..." He said quietly. Kokichi's smirk seemed to widen.

"Hm?~ What was that?~ Can you say it again for me?~"

This cycle had one on for a few times before Shuichi had finally caught on, as he was getting a bit fed up "Kokichi..." He said in a frustrated tone. Kokichi giggled at this and nodded.

"Fine fine! I guess I've had my fun!!" He tells him with a bright smile "So Saihara-chan! What do boyfriends do?" He questioned, this time being serious. Shuichi paused at this for a second before answering.

"Well... one thing they do is go on a date" Shuichi had told him. Kokichi tilted his head at this before nodding.

"Then take me on a date my beloved!!" He said in a cheerful tone. Shuichi was still blushing but didn't exactly hate the idea Taking Kokichi on a date... He thought to himself and got a small smile, he knew of a few places he could take Kokichi to. Shuichi wasn't exactly the most experienced when it came to dating, but he felt he knew just enough to get by.

"A-ah, ok then," Shuichi blushed and slowly moved over to the door to grab his jacket. It was a nice black leather jacket that was good for cold and wet weather, which is why he bought it for coming to the island.

The weather was always cloudy and rainy. It was a good thing to have a good jacket. Sadly, because of the weather there wasn't much you could do outside without getting cold or even getting rained on. Shuichi liked it there better than anywhere else that was always sunny. The dark made it seem calmer and quiet. And he absolutely loved it.

"Where are we going Shuichi~?" Kokichi teased, grabbing Shuichi's hand on his own. Shuichi flinched at the sudden contact before he realized he didn't have a set plan in mind.

"Wh-why don't we g-go and walk around the shops I-in town," He said with a bigger blush covering his face. He couldn't even focus on opening the door because of how he was trembling. He was so nervous. That was even a understatement, a big understatement...he was hella flustered.

"Shuichi, are you doing alright? you're trembling," Kokichi said in a more serious tone making Shuichi confused at the new attitude. He blushed and covered his face with his freehand while Kokichi took the initiative of helping him open the door with their hands.

"Y-yeah...I'm just a little nervous..." He quietly admired making Kokichi giggle.

"That's alright my beloved I'm sure this is your first time being in a relationship huh?" He asked to walk out the front door with Shuichi. He locked the door before putting his keys inside of his pocket.

"Y-yeah, how did you-" He got cut off by Kokichi grabbing his hand. He looked down at him and he just smiled.

"How did I know my beloved~? Because you just seem more nervous and inexperienced~," He teased, making Shuichi more flustered. Shuichi just walked with him without saying another word.

They walked to the town in a nice silence. Kokichi smiled and waved their hands back and forth as they were intertwined. This made Shuichi smile because of how it reminds him of how his parents walked with him when he was younger.

They held his hand and sometimes would walk faster so he could jump and they would carry him with their hands. He smiled and gave his hand a small squeeze.

"There is a candy shop?!" Kokichi gasped and pointed over at a candy shop. It was brightly colored and very sweet looking. Shuichi smiled and pulled him towards the store.

"Let's go there then," He said with a quiet voice as he walked over to the shop with him.The shop was playing quiet elevator music. Shuichi smiled ane let himself just fall into the sounds of the music and the smells radiating from the shop, what I would give to do this with my parents again, to be a little kid again...

The bright colors and the sweet smells in the candy shop made it all seem so nice and welcoming. Kokichi rushed in and immediately started wondering about the store asking Shuichi if he could by candy after candy. Shuichi laughed a bit at his behavior but let him pick out a few treats regardless.

"Shuichi~ What if I want more candy~?" He asked hugging Shuichi around his waist. Shuichi looked back at him with a slight frown.

"If we get anymore I'm positive you are going to get sick..." He sighed before Kokichi goaned.

"You are such a party pooper~!" He sighed as Shuichi purchased the candy and walked out the door.
