This is basically what happened not to long after season 4

Clay was sleeping one night, it was kinda surprising for the others that he slept more than 2 hours well.... it still wasn't changed by much

He only slept 30 more minutes than usual....

But ever since he was turned human again, he had been having nightmares every once and a while about him becoming an evil stone monster again... and killing all his friends...

But this one night was much different than the other times he had a nightmare...

Macy had heard clay sleep talking- ok more like sleep yelling..ish..... And was worried about clay

So she went into his room to check on him, but when she walked in, clay was sweating and holding onto his chest.... tightly and he kept saying "no" and "stop please" with a scared/ painful look on his face

"Clay!" Macy yelled immediately worried "wake up! Your fine everyone's fine!" She continued, shaking clay

When clay DID wake up, he immediately shoved Macy away from him "Get away from me!!! I'm dangerous!!!" He yelled scared "clay snap out of it!" Macy yelled back grabbing clays arms, he immediately shut his mouth and listened to Macy, but he was obviously still scared "what am I holding clay..." Macy said looking clay in the eyes "m-my hands..." clay said quietly "and what are they made of..." Macy continued "flesh, bones, and magic..." clay said getting slightly louder "that's right... and last time I checked humans aren't made of stone..." Macy said looking relieved "now would you mind telling me what this dream was all about???" She continued

clay hesitated "I-i was the evil grey knight a-and... there was... s-so much blood..." clay started to say, his voice getting pretty shaky.. "a-and I couldn't stop laughing... I-I was ENJOYING seeing the suffering of others... and I-I just-" clay suddenly started crying, Macy hugged him... she didn't really know what he was going through until now, which is also why clay seemed to stay as far away from statues as possible, and if it was cloudy neither he nor Jestro would step even an inch outside.. "dang, I should have noticed this earlier...." Macy thought to herself, she stopped hugging clay, he had fallen asleep from all the crying he was doing

But when Macy tried to leave, clay gently grabbed Macy's hand "umm... c-can you stay here tonight? I don't wanna be alone.... I mean if not it's fine....." clay asked, he was blushing like mad and looked down shyly when he was asking "sure I'll stay if you want!" Macy said...

And they both snuggled in bed that night

then the other knights walked in the next morning as Clay and Macy were sleeping and took a whole bunch of photos.....
