Hi everyone, I just wanted to share that yesterday evening, I had the honor to see Micky Dolenz perform live! I have to say, it was probably one of the best concerts I've ever been to and the atmosphere just felt so nice. Micky seemed like such a humble guy and being 78 years old, he was still able to hit some of those high notes! It almost brought tears to my eyes when he was telling us about his fallen bandmates because he was honoring them one by one. Behind him was a screen playing clips from the show, their movie, and other random clips from their time as The Monkees! It felt so nostalgic to me because it reminded me as to why I love this type of music and why the atmosphere around me was so delightful and calm. It showed how much Micky loved his music, his bandmates, the ones around him, and basically just his whole career. I'm still blown away from seeing one of my idols who isn't of my generation in person and it'll be a time that I'll never forget!
