Chapter 147: Vicious (2)

"Well, the title doesn't paint a happy picture." TBOAH! Obante said while some already prepared their hearts.

"Truthfully speaking, that Cale's life is always busy and sad so it isn't really a surprise." TBOAH! Choi Han pointed out.

"That's not true!" TCF! Cale immediately denied. "My life is...uh..."

TCF! Cale could only quiet down, remembering the scenes they were shown and realizing that his future life would not be a slacker life but a workaholic life which made him pale.

"If I destroy the White Star early on...I'll get my dream life...yeah...I'll do that." TCF! Cale thought out loud before showing a scammer smile which caused shivers to appear on his enemies' spines.

"It won't be that easy, transmigrator."  TCF! White Star arrogantly said.

"Hehehe, oh but it will be." TCF! Cale said with a large grin and a crazy gleam in his eyes. "I will do whatever it takes to get my slacker life."

'Poor Cale, thinking that his enemy will only be the white star.' Adalie thought in pity.

Witira and Cale's group flinched at Cale's response.

"I have a bad feeling." Taylor murmured after seeing the first few seconds of the video. 

"I second that." TCF! Archie said. "To make even the future queen flinch...I really don't want to know what he just said."

A shocked Witira walked over to Cale.

"Young master Cale, you're going to flip them over?"

"Flip over what?" TBOAH! John asked before realizing something. "Or who?"

"Do you really think young master Cale will flip people?" TBOAH! Pen asked with a raised brow before stopping. "Actually, yeah, he probably will."

TCF! Cale just looked at the two royalties with an offended look. 

Rosalyn seemed to be debating the plausibility of Cale's plan while Choi Han just stood there with his mouth open in shock.

"Cale-nim, are you really going to flip them over?"

Other than Raon who was smiling brightly, everybody else seemed to be shocked. Cale answered them with indifference.

"No. Well, you see."

His calm voice echoed throughout the forest.

"I really like how he can explain his evil plots with a calm voice as if he's talking about mundane things like the weather or the food he will be eating." TCF! Bud said with many nodding in agreement.

"He's always been like that." Jung Soo said with a teasing grin. "In the past, he would tell us gruesome plans to kill the monsters and fulfilling it without batting an eye."

"He would actually continue on his way after that." Soo Hyuk continued. "Be it eating, sleeping, or doing paperwork."

"Don't remind me of those atrocities." TCF! Cale said with a slight shiver. 

"Which one?" TBOAH! Bud asked. "Eating, sleeping, or paperwork?"

"...Do you really think he'd hate eating or sleeping when it's literally his dream?" TBOAH! Glenn asked after a few seconds of disbelief before wondering for the nth time why he became friends with the man besides him. 

"I was thinking that it might make it easier for them to leave this world if we shook their ships a bit. Wouldn't it be better if we could send them to the afterlife without dirtying our hands as much?"

"I mean yes but at the same time..." TCF! Witira stopped her sentence, knowing that everyone understood what she meant.

'How scary, letting the enemies die without knowing how.' many thought with a shiver. 

Even the Tiger tribe warriors that were standing behind the shaman slightly flinched and looked toward Cale.

"Even the tiger tribe warriors are scared of you." TBOAH! Cale said while looking at him in awe. "You're really amazing."

"That's not something to be proud of." TCF! Cale retorted with a frown. 

"I mean, in that way, no one would dare to mess with you." TBOAH! Billos said.

"That's the positive side." TBOAH! Beacrox said. "Negatively, no one would want to interact with you."

"No one would bother me...what a great idea! That way, I can have my peaceful slacker life." TCF! Cale said with a bright face although he wasn't smiling.

Witira had told them about Cale, however, the smiling Dragon behind Cale made them even more nervous.

"Anyone would be scared if someone told them a brutal plan with a smiling dragon." TCF! Tasha said. 

"Yeah, having a dragon shows that the plan will be one hundred percent fulfilled." Pendrick said. 

Cale smiled awkwardly at the shaman's white eyes and the Tiger tribe warriors' gazes that were directed at him. At that moment, Cale heard a familiar voice coming from behind him.

"Ho."

It was Ron.

The two Cales and Rok Soo unconsciously shivered in fear, some people stopping their laughs when they noticed it.

'He really is scary.' the three thought.

"Young master-nim, this shaman-nim does seem to be spiritual. He was able to guess your thoughts and he even knew that you used to act like trash but changed your ways."

'Hmm?'

"Why are you suddenly talking about me being trash?"

Cale looked toward Ron with a confused expression. Ron seemed to be satisfied with the question as he started to smile.

"'The man who is living a new life.' Wouldn't that be talking about how you changed from your trash ways to become your current noble self?"

"Um, well, technically it is true." TBOAH! Rei Stecker said with an awkward look. 

"The World tree really is amazing to know that information." TBOAH! Duke Fredo said, seeing the tree in a new light. 

TCF! Ron could only stare at the scene with an unknown look before smiling his usual smile. He might have still been hurt that he wasn't able to recognize the change in his young puppy but he has already come in terms with it and knows that he was never really that close with him in the past. This is why he is going to change and treat his puppy in a good way. Well, as good as he can because teasing the pup was fun, especially regarding lemon tea.

Cale flinched.
'The man who is living a new life.' That was not actually talking about how he stopped being trash.
However, Cale could not object to Ron's explanation.

"It saves me the trouble of thinking of a valid excuse." TCF! Cale said with a shrug. "Less work for me."

It was at that moment.

"There was a time when young master Cale was trash?"
"That's not possible. Young master Cale-nim is not trash."

Witira and Mary's robotic voice asked in shock. Mary was still speaking in a robotic tone, but she managed to say everything she wanted to say.
The sword master Hannah looked toward Cale with an odd gaze in her eyes.

"It's an act!" both TBOAH! Cale and Rok Soo said with a huff, feeling offended although they've been living like that for a long time and hearing it from many people. 

Cale responded to the gazes directed at him.

"I'm still trash."

He thought that he was still trash.
Although it was so that he could have a peaceful future, he seemed to be going around causing all sorts of issues. He also scammed people a lot.
That was what Cale was thinking.

"You were causing problems and scamming bad people which is good because it prevents them into doing more evil so your argument is invalid." TCF! Harol said. 

"That's right, human!" Raon said with a cheerful smile. "Didn't you tell me that scamming bad people is good?"

"I did? When?" TCF! Cale asked in surprise before gulping, feeling a heated gaze on his back and knowing it was the dragon's mom.

"Sigh, never mind about that." Sheritt said with a tired sigh. "As long as you don't teach him bad things, I'm alright with it."

Smirk.
Cale could see Witira smirking at his response. She responded back with a gaze that seemed to be saying that she understood.

"I thought you were saying that you really were trash. I guess you meant it like that."

'... What does she think I meant?'
Cale could not figure out what Witira was thinking about to respond to him like this. However, based on how Mary's black hood was nodding, Mary seemed to have accepted it as well.

"What?" TCF! Cale asked in confusion while the others realized it too and agreed.

"Not telling~" TCF! Cage teased. "You should figure it out yourself!"

'But I really don't understand.' TCF! Cale thought with a little frown. 

At that moment, Choi Han started to speak.

"Cale-nim's past actions were all just an act. He used to live a peaceful life until he decided on a goal and started to move."

'What kind of messed up version is this one?'
Cale looked toward Choi Han with disbelief. Choi Han smiled with satisfaction as he continued to speak.

"We know the truth even if you pretend it is not because you are embarrassed."

'My goodness.'
Cale really was in disbelief.

"Bwahahahaha, I'm sorry but I can't keep it in anymore!" Jung Soo and both Buds laughed, almost falling on the ground if not for Soo Hyuk and Glenns respectively.

"You...they...hahahahaha, I can't!!" TBOAH! Cage laughed with tears in her eyes.

Both versions of Witira and Choi Han were red in embarrassment while some looked at them in pity.

"Aw, poor Choi Han, mistaking young master Cale's act." TCF! Rosalyn teased which made TCF! Choi Han turn redder.

At that moment, Rosalyn, who had been quiet, started to speak.

"Actually, the fact that young master Cale was trash was quite popular in the noble society. I trusted that rumor until I met young master Cale and learned that he had been hiding his true self."

Witira gasped at Rosalyn's explanation while Mary just continued to nod her head.

Cale was at a loss for words.

Both Rosalyns wished they could leave or have everyone forget about this as they desperately tried to stop the blush that was forming in their cheeks.

"Aw, poor Rosalyn, mistaking young master Cale's act." TCF! Choi Han teased back with a small smirk which made TCF! Rosalyn hit him weakly.

He wanted to say that his true self was someone who hoped to live a slacker life, however, he thought that they would understand it completely wrong if he tried to explain.

"You're learning." Eruhaben said with a nod.

"It is better to be quiet than to explain things in your case." TBOAH! Gashan said. "As you cause quite a lot of misunderstandings, young master, knowingly or not."

'This is really unfair.' TCF! Cale thought bitterly. 'It isn't my fault people don't understand my words and actions!'

At that moment, Cale felt like he was being stared at, so he turned his head.

The sword master Hannah.
She was looking at him like he was a terrible guy. Her look of disbelief made Cale feel more relaxed.

"Yes, that's right, you're one of the only people who understands me." TCF! Cale said as he looked at TCF! Hannah with hope in his eyes which made her flinch in disgust.

"Don't look at me like that!" TCF! Hannah ordered with a shiver.

He then looked toward the shaman with an even more relaxed demeanor. The shaman was still looking at him with those white eyes.

'How psychic.'

He really seemed to have spiritual powers. He seemed more like a medium rather than a shaman though.
Cale became curious.
'Would they know who I am?'
He started to speak.

"Who am I?"

Cale's unexpected question made everyone look at him with confusion. Would there be anybody here who doesn't know who he was?

"Apparently, we didn't know who he was until this experience." TCF! Alberu said with a sigh.

"Technically, no one knew the real me." Rok Soo said with a shrug, not noticing the flinch that came from his family and servants. 

"Cale..." Jour said with sad eyes as she went over to hug him which made him flustered but didn't move, welcoming the warmth he used to seek for a long time.  

However, Cale was waiting for the Tiger shaman's response. The shaman started to speak.

"What I have said is everything that I heard."
"•••I see."

Cale felt disappointed at the shaman's words and nodded his head. However, the shaman had more to say.

"I wanted to know if it knew me." TCF! Cale explained before his children could ask. "If it did, then I could ask why I was brought here. Or well, that's probably what I thought."

"One more thing."
"... There's more?"

Cale became curious and looked toward the shaman with anticipation.

"I was told that the red-haired man will give us a new home."
"That is wrong."

Cale immediately responded to the shaman's statement.

'I have a bad feeling.' TCF! Cale thought as he heard his words. 

"Who wants to bet that he'll give them a new home." TBOAH! Hannah asked, frowning when no one was baited before smirking a little, having an idea.

"Hey, want to bet?" she asked TBOAH! Adin who looked at her with a raised brow.

"I'm not dumb." he said with a roll of his eyes.

"No, you're just a coward." TBOAH! Hannah said with a mocking smile.

"You bitch, deal!" TBOAH! Adin shouted in anger, not realizing what he just said. "I'll bet a hundred."

"You're on." TBOAH! Hannah said with a smile as they shook hands, watching with happiness when his eyes grew wide once he realized what he's done. "Too late to back down, loser."

'I should have done that.' TCF! Cale thought jealously. 

TCF! Gashan didn't say anything but only smiled, listening to the world tree who told him that TCF! Cale would grant them a home.

'A new home? Although it would be great to use the Tiger tribe to fight against the Northern Alliance's knights...'

Cale shook his head. He was trying to get rid of the useless thought in his head.
The shaman started to speak.
He had closed his eyes once again.

"My introduction has been delayed. My name is Gashan and I am a shaman who is here as a representative of the Tiger tribe. It is my honor to meet Dragon-nim and the amazing individuals of the Western continent."

The shaman Gashan pointed to the wooden building.

"Let us continue to speak inside."
"Sure."

Cale headed toward the wooden building as he started to think about the Hais Island map.

Hais Island 9.
The, 'Hais,' name was the name given to the collective group of 15 islands.
Hais Island 2 and 12 were currently being used by the Whale tribe and the Tiger tribe respectively.

"You aren't going to destroy another island, right?" TCF! Alberu nervously asked. "I don't want to deal with the paperwork so if you did, you're going to do it."

"I don't have the authority." TCF! Cale immediately answered with a smile.

"I'll give you authority." TCF! Alberu said with the same smile.

* * *

Cale was currently flying in the air. They were not visible because of invisibility magic, so he openly asked his question.

"Is it them?"
"Yes, young master Cale."

Cale looked on while hearing Witira's voice.

They were currently in the middle of the ocean. There were tens of large and small ships sailing through the water.
Even the small ships were just small in comparison to the large ships, as they were truly at least medium-sized ships.

"So many." TBOAH! Amiru said with a frown. 

"To think so many people are joining the wrong side." TBOAH! Eric said with a sad look. "I wonder why."

"There are plenty of possible reasons." TCF! White Star said with a look. "Shall I give you a list?"

Cale started to frown.
He then started to speak again.

"There are more than I expected."

There were many people to respond his statement.
Cale was currently flying and invisible with Raon's magic while Witira was doing the same with Rosalyn's magic.
The last person with them was the shaman Gashan.
Cale looked to his side. This crow next to him was the only non-invisible presence. Gashan was still on Hais Island 9 but had created a crow to accompany them.

They could hear his voice through the crow.

"Although there may seem to be a lot of ships, the strongest of them are gathered on the five ships in the center. That is where we suspect Arm's First Battle Brigade is located. There are supposedly 20 members in that team."

20 people. The First Battle Brigade did not have as many members as the other brigades.

"Of course." TBOAH! White Star said with a roll of his eyes. "There aren't many people that are extremely strong."

"No, you're just weak which is why not many strong people follow you." Rok Soo, seeing his opportunity to mock the one who killed his family, said with a smirk. "Look at Cale, all of his companions are strong."

"You!" TBOAH! White Star said with a visible vein on his forehead.

Witira started to speak.

"The oceanic lifeforms are continuing to observe their movements. They should arrive near the Hais Islands in about five days."

Cale remembered what Ron had told him.

'Young master-nim, I have fought against Arm on the Eastern continent. Although they were members of the underworld, they specialized more in battle and murder instead of stealth and assassination.'
'There were also a lot of people with special abilities.'
'Even the subordinates of the members of the First Battle Brigade will be stronger than your average mercenaries.'

"Unfortunately for them, Cale's team consists of people stronger than most people." TCF! Toonka said with a proud smile. "Including me!"

Cale looked down at the group of ships and shared his sentiments.

"They seem to be strong."
The enemy was stronger than he had expected.

"From the look of things, they aren't at your group's level." TBOAH! Adite said which made many nod in agreement.

"To be fair, no one expected someone to collect all the strong people in the continent." TBOAH! Valentino said.

'He makes it seem like Cale's collecting pokemons.' Adalie thought with an amused smile. 

"Mm."

Cale was thinking with his arms crossed.
They had ten Whales and approximately twenty Tigers.
They also had his group.

"There really shouldn't be any thinking done." TCF! Rei Stecker said. "Just randomly choose two people in your group and it will still get the job done." 

"True." many said in agreement.

"You can also do it yourself but the aftermath will be...brutal for you." Dodori said. 

Gashan started to speak.

"Something like this would not have happened if all of our Tigers were still alive. It is very embarrassing."

Cale heard how the Tiger tribe ended up being in danger of being extinct.

'Tigers do not live in a streak.' 

Similarly, the Tiger tribe also did not live in streaks. The Eastern continent has a lot of mountains. The Tiger tribe was spread out across the Eastern continent with only one family living in each mountain.
Arm had found them one by one in order to kill them all. They were said to have brought hundreds of people broken up into five teams to attack each group of Tigers.

Many looked down in prayer, hoping that the souls of the dead tigers would be alright while their determination to end the enemies became stronger.

Gashan said something else as he explained.

'I heard a message from nature one day. I was told to gather the Tiger tribe. At that moment, a messenger that one family managed to send out before they died arrived and explained the situation.'

The Tiger tribe lived like hermits in the mountains and did not know much about the situation of the continent. They lived so far from each other that they barely knew the situation of their own tribe members.

"A mistake in our part." TBOAH! Gashan admitted as many kept in mind that separation of a group is bad. 

That was how the Tiger tribe went from having two hundred members to twenty Tigers. All of them had gathered together and come to Hais Island.

Many winced a the small number, wondering how someone could be cruel enough to kill so many without a second thought.

That was why only about 15 out of the 20 Tigers would be involved in the battle.

"I hope you will all be able to take your revenge on those shits." TCF! Amiru said in anger while smiling. "Oh, forgive me for my language."

'Scary.' both versions of Gilbert and Eric thought. 

"Hmm."

Cale, who was still thinking things over, could hear Witira's voice.

"Young master Cale, will we have a lot of casualties with our current numbers?"

"That's impossible." TCF! Choi Han immediately said. "Cale-nim will never make a plan that involves someone dying."

"Someone," murmured Eruhaben in frustration. "that is not him because he's too self-sacrificing."

"Now that I think about it, we never lost anyone whenever Cale took the lead, right?" Jung Soo said with a thoughtful look.

"Yeah." Soo Hyuk agreed. "That's why he was always the strategist."

The thought of losing never crossed Witira's mind.

"Because we never lose." TBOAH! Shickler confidently said. "No matter who the enemy is. Well, besides young master Cale."

Even if they were low in numbers, they were still the Whale tribe and the Tiger tribe. There was no way that they could lose. However, she was worried that they would have a lot of casualties as the enemy had hundreds of people.
Witira started to speak again with a concerned expression.

"Maybe we should have asked the other kingdoms for help."

"You really are a kind one." Mila said with a kind smile as both Witiras flustered a little in embarrassment while the whales in the room, including both Archies, proudly smiled at their next ruler.

The entire Whale tribe was not here either. The Whale King, Shickler, as well as a few others were currently observing the Northern Alliance while preparing for war.
Witira quietly mumbled in a concerned voice.

"We can't lose too many at this point."

Cale started to speak at that moment.

"Wouldn't they be most scared of natural disasters?"
"Excuse me?"

"Young master-nim." TCF! Ron immediately said after hearing what TCF! Cale said in the screen. "Don't overdo it or this Ron will be forced to take care of you by feeding you lemon tea every day."

"I won't." TCF! Cale immediately promised, not wanting to drink lemon tea every day and not be able to reject it. At least he can make excuses these days.

Cale looked down at the ships and started to speak.

"What would happen if tens of whirlpools suddenly appeared in the ocean as they crossed?"

Swoooooooosh-
A whirlwind the size of a palm appeared from the middle of nowhere.
It was Cale using the Sound of the Wind.
He continued on with a confident voice.

"They will try to avoid the whirlpools once they see them. At that moment, they will see the islands. They will see the row of 15 Hais Islands. Then wouldn't they head for the islands?"

The smarter ones in the room who understood what he was trying to convey either smirked or paled at the cruel plan.

Cale thought about what would happen five days later as he continued to speak.

"Some of the ships with captains who do not have the skills to avoid the whirlpools will end up being destroyed. The people on board will fall into the ocean. They will not be able to fight properly in the water."

Witira looked down at the ships in the ocean. She could hear Cale continuing to speak.

"Ah, and if we put whirlpools in between the 15 Hais Islands, the ships will gather in order to select islands to avoid them."

Rosalyn, Witira, and Gashan. The three of them did not say anything as they listened to Cale.

"What do you think?"

"A plan worthy to end those who taint the world." Rasheel said with a vicious smirk. "I'll remember to go to you if I need to end someone painfully."

'Why would you need to end someone?' many thought in wonder. 

"No, more importantly, why do you need someone else to think of a way for you to end someone?" TBOAH! Litana asked in curiosity.

"Of course it's because there might be some that I want to kill mercilessly." Rasheel explained. 

"I recommend Cage if you want to end someone painfully." TCF! Cale suggested. "She's good at curses."

Rasheel and some others looked at her with interest when they heard that.

Witira's lips started to move.

The Tiger tribe and Cale's group would be at the islands that the ships decide to congregate at. The Whale tribe and the whales would attack the shipwrecked enemies.

Witira looked at the small whirlwind in the air. The ships down below would not be able to see this small whirlwind.

She opened her mouth to speak.
However, there was someone who was faster than her.

"Human, let's try it!"

It was Raon.
Cale could feel a gust of wind against his face from Raon fluttering his wings.

"I am stronger now after learning from Goldie gramps! Let's flip over all of those ships!"

"Bad nya!" Hong said while lightly slapping Raon's hands.

"We want to join, nya!" On lightly hit TCF! Cale this time. "Stop ignoring us!"

'Is it alright for children to want to join fights?' TCF! Cale thought.

Cale started to think.
'Dragons really are scary.'

How could he talk about causing a natural disaster with such joy in his face?

'Says the one who speaks about painful deaths without any emotion!' many thought in their hearts.

Cale looked down at the tens of ships below and started to speak.

"Then let's plan for when they arrive near the islands in five days."

Compared to the vast ocean, the Hais Islands were fairly close to each other.
Arm would experience hell once they arrive at these islands.
All different kinds of hell would be waiting for them.

Even if they managed to get out and escape to the ocean, they would then have to face the Whale tribe. That would be a type of hell as well.
Cale started to frown while imaging the sight.

"There's no need to imagine, young master-nim." TCF! Beacrox said with a smile. "Because they will be exterminated before you can even remember them."

'...scary.' many thought. 

"How many scary people are there in this room?" TBOAH! Bud asked with a frown which made many look at him with a stare.

"You're literally the mercenary king." TBOAH! Hannah said with a deadpan look. 

"And you're a killer." TCF! Hans said.

"And you're a skilled butler that can kill." TBOAH! Odeus said.

"Let's just admit that everyone here is capable of being a killer." TCF! Rex said, annoyed at the never-ending banter. 

"Except Saint Jack." TCF! Jopis pointed out.

"Except him." TBOAH! Obante agreed which made the two saints flustered.

'How terrible.'

It would not be a pretty sight.
At that moment, he heard Gashan's voice.

"We can finally get our revenge in five days."

For the Whale tribe, Tiger tribe, and the fake Holy Maiden Hannah, five days later would be the great day that they could finally get their revenge on Arm and show them the meaning of hell.

"And you're the reason why it is possible, young master-nim." TCF! Gashan said with a bow, followed by those mentioned by the screen.

"I didn't do much." TCF! Cale said nonchalantly but the tips of his ears were red. 

"Tsundere~" the Koreans sang.

"Let's go back."

Cale turned away from the ships and quickly headed back to Hais Island 9. He then started to think.

'It's going to be tiring.'

He would need the maximum support of the Vitality of the Heart in order to use his ancient power.

'I'll rest until Spring after doing this.'
That was Cale's cute plan.

"I'm glad to see you aware of your health, young master-nim." TCF! Mary softly said. "I hope it will continue until the end."

"I'll try my best." TCF! Cale said.

"Please do, I don't want to work so hard after death." the vitality of the heart pleaded.
