"Alright." Adalie said once the episode was over, approaching both versions of the sun twins with a solemn look. "I will give you four an option on whether or not you want to watch how TCF! Mary, under the order of TCF! Cale and her own will, saved TCF! Hannah. It's perfectly fine if you don't want to relieve the pain or watch the experience at all as we can skip those episodes. It's not important for anyone here, anyway."

"I don't want to!" both versions of Jack immediately rejected. TCF! Jack had a horrified look on his face as he recalled the pained screams of his sister while TBOAH! Jack was pale, failing to keep his mind from imagining his sister's sufferings. Both versions of Hannah looked at each other briefly before looking at their respective brothers before finally gazing at Adalie who looked at them with a blank look. 

"We won't watch it." TBOAH! Hannah decided for the four, causing the two younger brothers to sigh in relief.

"I see." Adalie said with a soft smile while nodding her head before turning to look at the others who was simply looking at them, even the enemies (Adalie definitely did not threaten them to shut up and not ruin the siblings' moment). "Well, now that that is settled, I will tell you this: the next episodes are going to be about the future."

"HUH?" many exclaimed in shock, even some of the villains. 

"You were serious about that?!" TBOAH! Bud asked in surprise, almost spilling his alcohol bottle to TBOAH! Glenn. It was a good thing TBOAH! Bud was alert enough to prevent it from happening or alcohol won't be the only thing spilling. 

"Never mind that, what about my slacker life?!" TCF! Cale cried out. "And how many more fucking episodes will we watch? We're already in the hundreds!"

"Yes, I was serious about it and no, I will not tell you because everybody hates those who spoils them." Adalie cheekily explained before clapping her hands like a kid who was about to prank someone. "Now, let's watch!"

Chapter 138: Together (6)

But that show was still a long time away and there were a ton of issues to take care of prior to it.

"What?" Paseton asked in confusion as Adalie realized those who weren't there wouldn't know what was happening.

"Let's backtrack a bit." Adalie said.

Chapter 137: Together (5) {Ending part}

If they needed to hide away from the judging eyes of the world, it was now his turn to protect Hannah and keep her hidden. Both bitterness and joy were on the Saint's face at the same time.

"You idiot, you don't need to protect me just because I'm like this." TCF! Hannah said with a touched look. "I can still look over myself and you without problems."

"Still..." TCF! Jack said with a shy look. "I wanted to protect you this time because you've been protecting me for a long time now."

Meanwhile, most of the people looked at the twins with a soft look while TBOAH! Hannah was teasing her younger brother who was blushing in embarrassment.

"We will need to spend our whole lives in hiding because people will easily recognize that Hannah has the darkness attribute after seeing the scars on her face, however, it is enough that she is alive."
"Why do you need to live in hiding?"
"...Excuse me?"

The Saint thought that he did not hear Cale correctly.

"Yes, pardon?" TBOAH! Tasha said in shock, not understanding TCF! Cale's comment. "You are aware how people look down and hate those with dark attributes, right?"

"I do and I'm sure my... future self will explain his reasoning." TCF! Cale said, still a little sulky about how they haven't finished watching his life.

'Really, couldn't we watch someone else's pov like, I don't know, the original protagonist?!' TCF! Cale bitterly thought.  

He turned his gaze away from Hannah and looked toward Cale.

Cale looked confident.

"You always look confident, though." TCF! Amiru said which earned some nods.

Raon was currently speaking inside Cale's mind.

– Human, that swordmaster seems to have woken up.

Cale let that go in through one ear and out the other as he continued to say what he needed to say.

"Dead mana is a severe poison for humans. The fact that she was able to overcome it and survive is a miracle."

Many agreed as it was common knowledge that those inflicted with dead mana dies. It was the reason why the dessert of death was known to be a place where those who entered it will never come out again. 

The Saint could see that the way Cale was looking at Hannah the same way as usual. At that moment, this thought crossed his mind.

'Is it because it is young master Cale that he is able to be around a necromancer?'

"Hm?" TCF! Cale let out a sound of confusion as he looked at TCF! Jack who also looked baffled although his gaze showed he had a vague idea what his future self was thinking.

A Dark Elf, a necromancer, and even a servant with an artificial arm. Cale did not seem to have any issues being around beings with the darkness affinity.

"Isn't it normal?" TCF! Cale asked with a worried look, inwardly panicking that his (nonexistent) slacker life will go further away if that was special.

No one answered him which made him feel more anxious.

'Please tell me it's normal.' he begged inside his heart. 'I don't care who says that. It can even be a lie. But, please, just tell me this is false.'

Cale was still speaking as those thoughts crossed the Saint's mind.

"People who have been through a lot have rougher hands. I just consider the scar on her face as a symbol of what she has overcome."

"Says the one who thought his scars were ugly." Adalie mumbled, unaware that a few people with extremely sharp hearing heard and looked at TCF! Cale with a frown and worried looks. TCF! Cale didn't know and thought they were threatening him for an unknown reason.

'Why are you looking at me?!' he thought, wishing for the nth time for this show to end. 

"Ah."

The Saint let out a small gasp.

"I think that someday people will appreciate and celebrate someone who was able to overcome such a burden. Just like how you are thankful toward Mary right now."

Both Marys felt touched to the point of becoming teary eyed although no one knew since they couldn't see her face.

'This is the first time I'm appreciated by others.' both thought with a small smile.

The Saint felt like his heart was beating wildly.

He had not purified Mary like his instincts from the Sun God were telling him to do, and now he was thankful to her.

Those close with Mary inwardly sighed in relief. Although that already happened, they couldn't help but still feel nervous because the one talking and had been near her for some time is the saint of the sun god, someone who is known to hate those with dark attributes.

It was because he knew about her story.
He knew about how Mary was poisoned by dead mana and everything she had to overcome to survive.
He also knew that she was willing to suffer through pain in order to save a stranger even after going through so many hardships in her personal life.

Those who didn't know about her story gasp in shock before looking at the hooded girl with respect, even the villains.

The Sun God had said the following to his believers.

Goodness is like a bright light.
No matter how long a human wanders lost in the darkness, a single ray of light could help them continue to live.

Jack, this half Saint who had been living under the oppression of the church, started to understand the teachings that he had been taught.

Jack started to speak.

"Young master Cale, just because someone has the darkness attribute does not mean that they have no good in their heart. That means that the individual is also a source of light, right?"

"...Yes." TBOAH! Obante said while trying to hold his tears. He never imagined that, one day, a member of the church of the sun god, especially the saint, would understand and even acknowledge them, the creatures of the dark.

"You deserve to be the saint." TCF! Gashan said. "Even the world tree praises you for your decision."

This made both saints blush from the attention given to them. 

Jack wanted Cale to answer that for him.
Cale had no problem responding back.

"He never has problems answering back." the shield teased which made many laugh and agree as TCF! Cale weekly glared at her.

"Saint-nim, a world that understands that fact will soon appear."

Those who have been hiding, especially both Alberus, listened and smiled, having a feeling that it would soon come true. After all, TCF! Cale has never lied to anyone before. Scammed and tricked, yes, but lie? Never.

Raon started to speak in Cale's mind again.

– Human, look! The swordmaster's eyelids are shaking! I was right about her waking up. I really am great!

TCF! Hannah ignored TCF! Jack's gaze as she shot him a sheepish smile.

Cale ignored this as he continued to speak to the Saint.

"I believe that we can make that world a reality if we work hard."
"You are right. I agree."

The Saint, Jack, nodded his head. A strong desire filled his heart.

"And...this is the part where you unconsciously got scammed by TCF! Cale into helping him!" Jung Soo said with a big smile as he shook TCF! Jack's hand who was looking at him in confusion. "Congratulations!"

"...Huh?" was the only word the baffled saint could utter as the stranger continued on celebrating until he was hit on the head by Rok Soo.

"Shut up, you're embarrassing." he hissed. "Besides, why are you so happy?"

"Because it shows that I'm not the only one who got scammed unknowingly by that evil man with an angelic face!" Jung Soo exclaimed. "Well, besides the crown prince of the Roan kingdom, of course."

TCF! Alberu just looked at him blankly, wondering why he was suddenly included in the conversation and couldn't even refute because what the man said was true.

"I will work to make sure that such a world is created. Both Hannah and the necromancer-nim just happen to have the darkness attribute. They are still good people who are willing to be that ray of light for the benefit of others. I will work hard to make sure that people can understand that they are good people."

"You have a good heart." TBOAH! Litana praised. 

"Yes, fitting for a saint." TCF! Witira agreed. 

"Of course, that's my brother after all." TCF! Hannah said with pride with TBOAH! Hannah nodding along.

Jack could see Cale starting to smile.

Cale looked past Jack's shoulder and to the bed behind him.

The swordmaster Hannah was starting to open her eyes. She made eye contact with Cale once her eyes completely opened.

Cale looked at her as he started to speak.

"The people who have overcome difficulties must be applauded. The people who have survived through it all have earned that right."

Hannah clearly understood what Cale meant by the people who have survived through it all.

Although it was difficult, Hannah smiled toward Cale. However, that smile was not warm at all.
It was a smile that was a mix of joy for being alive and coldness to get her revenge.

"Good." TBOAH! Jopis nod her head. "I'm glad you aren't like those shitty main protagonists who nearly dies and after waking up sees the beauty of the world and decides to just live life without even getting even with those who harmed them in the first place."

"What kind of shitty story is that?!" TCF! Cage exploded. 

"Apparently a popular one." TCF! Elisneh decided to speak, ignoring the look her sister gave her. Her anger towards those plots outweighed her hatred for her sister by a large margin. "Really, those kinds of stories should just burn to ashes."

"Exactly!" TBOAH! Witira agreed, not minding that she was talking with a criminal.

"True." TBOAH! John commented with a frown. "It's annoying to see them easily forgive their enemies when they literally tortured the fuck out of the protagonist. Pardon my curse."

Meanwhile, those who haven't read those kinds of books, or books at all, just watched in mild interest. Both Rosalyns and Pens, on the other hand, just looked at their brother like they couldn't believe it was him. Who knew the prince liked reading those kinds of books?

"You are right. Young master Cale, you really are a deep individual."

Cale modestly smiled toward the excited Saint. 

"Cough, faker, cough." TBOAH! Cale coughed before laughing with the Koreans excluding TBOAH! Choi Han.

He looked toward the now real Saint and the fake Holy Maiden who had not forgotten her goal as he started to think.

'I've prepared something to use in order to surprise the Empire.'

The preparations for a show to shake the Empire were now complete.

Both Adins glared at TCF! Cale who ignored him, more focused on the dish in front of him - kimchi.

'It's been so long since I ate Korean food.' he thought while smiling a bit. 

"Okay, let's now go back to the original episode." Adalie said while eating french fries with barbeque powder, giving some to the kids and Marys who seemed to enjoy spicy things (she added chili powder on their fries since they asked her for a spicier one).

Chapter 138: Together (6) {Resumed}

'But those issues aren't my problems to take care of.'

"Who wants to make a bet with me?" TBOAH! Bud asked. "I'm betting all my money that that punk will take care of the problems."

"No one's stupid enough to fall for that." TBOAH! Cale said with a bitter smile, sad that he wouldn't have free money.

Cale leisurely took a sip of the tea that was a special item of the Jungle. Cale was currently drinking tea and chatting with Queen Litana.

"It seems that this would have happened if we haven't been transported here." TCF! Litana commented, not quite sure on what to feel with the fact they're all watching her future. 

Tap.

Cale could hear Litana's voice as soon as he put his teacup down.

"According to the information given by the Saint, there was a lot of research for war and killing at the Alchemists' Bell Tower."

Those who didn't know was shock at the information, not being able to believe that the Empire could do something so inhumane.

Litana's face looked disgusted as she said that. Cale could imagine what was making her put on such a disgusted face. He started to speak.

"They probably needed to do a lot of experiments for such research."

Litana nodded her head at Cale's comment and gulped down her tea.

'Isn't it hot?'

Cale was worried about Litana burning herself.

"Don't worry, young master Cale, I am used to drinking hot drinks and food." TCF! Litana said with a smile, happy that her friend is worried about her.

"It's natural to worry for a friend, miss Lina." he simply said with a small smile.

Bang!

However, he did not say anything after seeing Litana bang the teacup onto the glass table. Litana's black pupils were full of anger.

"I cannot forgive them. How can they kill so many animals and humans in such a cruel manner?!"

Cale looked toward the angry Litana and took another sip of his tea.

"Only you can act so calm with that kind of news." TBOAH! Rex mumbled. 

"On the contrary, I and my people am experts at keeping our cool." TCF! Duke Fredo uttered.

"Our clan, too." TBOAH! Shickler said, not wanting to lose due to pride.

"Dragons can do this the best." Rasheel boasted. 

Both alchemy and magic required a significant amount of experiments when creating war-related or killing-related items. The majority of those experiments were completed on the orcs or goblins.

Although Cale didn't think that was necessarily a good method either, the methods of the Alchemists' Bell Tower that the Saint shared with them was even crueler.

The Empire is one of the few kingdoms that still allowed for slaves.
They used these slaves for the experiments.
They also killed a large number of animals as well.

That was why the citizens of the Jungle, people who did not have slaves and lived in harmony with animals, could not help but be angry.

"Anyone with a right mind would be angry." TBOAH! Gilbert said with a frown.

"Unfortunately, some don't have a mind." TBOAH! Ron said with a benign smile, subtly glancing at the villains who had a sour face with a vicious smile.

Litana looked toward Cale and asked.

"Don't you think that it is cruel as well, young master Cale?"
"It is."
"Right. That is why we need to save them."

'Hmm?'

Cale was holding up his teacup as he looked toward Litana. For some reason, her fierce gaze made him get the chills.

"And here is where you get roped into helping her in solving the problem!" Taylor cheered, teasing TCF! Cale, his and Cage's 'little brother', with a grin. 

"Young master Cale, I have bad blood with the Empire and the Alchemists' Bell Tower."

This was because the Imperial Prince and Alchemy were responsible for the fire in Section 1.

Both Litanas eyes sharpened at the reminder, vowing to torture and kill all the people involved, starting with the imperial prince.

"However, I have no plan for conquering the Empire's land nor do I want to kill the Empire's citizens. I want to kill the basta-, no, mm, anyway, I just want to get rid of the person in charge and prevent future experiments like this."

"You're free to curse in front of us, miss Lina." TCF! Cale said, feeling bad that the queen couldn't express herself freely because of her reputation.

'This is why being a trash is the best.' he thought with a satisfied look.

"...Do I just need to deliver this message to crown prince Alberu?"

Litana smiled and nodded her head.

"Yes, please inform his highness that this is our position."

TCF! Alberu smiled at the scene, glad that his kingdom would gain a strong ally.

"Want to make the agreement happen now?" TBOAH! Cale suddenly voiced out, surprising some people. "Why are you all looking at me like that? Isn't it possible to make the agreement here since both the queen and crown prince are here? Not only that, the other royalties are also here so why not make an alliance for each kingdom besides the empire?"

"...I agree." it was TCF! Harol who first agreed, briefly being followed by the others who realized how valuable an alliance with Cal-the Roan kingdom is. 

"I'll give you all some time to meet after this episode." Adalie said, earning nods before she played the video again.

Cale nodded his head.

The Roan Kingdom was currently working as the focal point to connect all of these other nations.
They had no other choice, as only Cale and Alberu had knowledge about the current situation of the continent.

"It's mostly him, though." TCF! Alberu pointed out. 

"It's not like I knowingly find information." TCF! Cale sulked a little. "I usually just stumble on a problem and briefly solve it, only to find out it's connected to the bigger problem."

"And that's why you are Mr. Unluckily Lucky." Jung Soo said with an announcer voice which made many laugh. 

The Whipper Kingdom, the Breck Kingdom, and the Jungle.
These three nations only knew that the Empire was working together with the Northern Alliance. Only Cale, Alberu, and their people knew that Arm was involved with them as well.

"Technically, all of us know now." TBOAH! Billos said before warily glancing at Adalie. "That is, as long as she doesn't erase our memories."

His only answer was a tricky smile. 

Cale nodded his head as he lowered his teacup.

"I will deliver the message. By the way, Miss Lina."
"Yes?"

Cale put the teacup on the table and clasped his hands together with a serious expression. Litana looked at him with a stiff expression as well.
Cale started to speak.

"Wouldn't it be better to just destroy the Alchemists' Bell Tower while you're at it?"
"... Excuse me?"

"Exactly, what's with you and destroying important places?!" TBOAH! Valentino exclaimed in shock. "First the island and now the tower? What's next, the empire's castle?!"

"Those that I destroyed aren't important enough to last forever." TCF! Cale defended himself. "And, of course I won't destroy the empire's castle, it's important! Well, unless they attack my family." 

"Ah, I guess destroy might be too strong of a word. How about we change it to break down?"
"Excuse me?"

Litana looked toward Cale as if she could not comprehend what he was saying. 

"Don't worry, your majesty, I think everyone in your shoes would also react the same way." TBOAH! Eric said, trying to comfort the queen.

Cale's calm voice responded back.

"That was just a thought I had after hearing about their cruelty. Don't you feel the same way, Miss Lina?"
"...Of course. But it is not easy to take that Bell Tower down."

"Well, I mean, he has two dragons, a father and son duo assassins, two kittens from the cat tribe, the original protagonist, an extremely strong mage, the wolf king's successor, need I say more?" Rok Soo said while counting the people with his fingers before looking at everyone with a challenging look. "Doesn't that make the job extremely easy?"

People were once again reminded how overpowered TCF! Cale and his group was.

Although it was called a Bell Tower, other than the large bell on the roof of the tower, it was a fortress that was even stronger than the Magic Tower.

Cale showed his agreement with Litana's comment.

"You're right. It is not easy to do so."

"To everyone, yes but to you? It's like breathing." Pendrick said, having fun teasing the young master due to the influence of those around him. 

Litana felt odd, but picked her teacup back up after seeing Cale agree with her before she started to speak again.

"I think it will be difficult to break down the Bell Tower that has been standing for hundreds of years. I want to do it though."
"I suppose so."

Cale agreed with Litana as he started to think.

'Looks like I'll be able to take a couple of the Jungle's warriors when I go to destroy the Bell Tower.'

"So you were already planning on destroying it." TBOAH! Litana said.

"Yes." TCF! Cale said shamelessly. "I needed more people for assurance, though."

Cale already had planned on destroying the Bell Tower. He needed to do so.
That would destroy one of the pillars of the Empire.

The Empire could be said to consist of Alchemy and the Church of the Sun God serving as the pillars of the Empire while the royal family served as the roof.

People were saying that the Church of the Sun God was currently in the process of being destroyed. However, Cale was planning on destroying the Bell Tower and creating a new pillar for the Empire.

It would be a new and upgraded Church of the Sun God.

'No, it is better to call it the foundation rather than a pillar.'

Pillars are created on top of foundations. Cale was thinking about recreating everything, starting from the foundation.

"Wow, you already planned everything!" Maes said in awe. "I want to be like that when I grow up!"

Some just looked at the child with a wry smile, not being able to tell him that they wish for no one to be like TCF! Cale. He was too tiring to handle.

However, that was not something for Cale to do.
He was planning on making other people destroy the Bell Tower before observing what happened next. Of course, he had plans for it, which was why he was working his ass off right now in order to set up the pieces.

One of those pieces was brought up by Litana.

"Then will you be looking after the Saint and the Holy Maiden?"

Cale had told Litana that he was taking Jack and Hannah with him.

"I have a feeling his definition of 'looking after' is different." the dragon half-blood said with a nervous look, still hesitant in speaking in fear that someone would hit him.

"Yes. I wish to do so if it is okay with you, Miss Litana."
"It does not matter to me."

A real Holy Maiden and Saint would be helpful to pressure the Empire in the future, however, they were a pair of a fake Holy Maiden and a half-Saint. Litana did not need the two anymore as she had already received all of the information from the Saint.

"I didn't mean it that way." TCF! Litana said with a flustered expression, immediately realizing how misleading the narrator's words are. "I meant that I didn't need to ask you two to fight with me anymore but you are welcome to stay in the jungle any time you want."

"Don't worry, Queen Litana, we understand what you are trying to say." TCF! Jack said with a kind smile. "Thank you for your hospitality for now and the future."

"Then I will take them with me."

Litana quietly looked at Cale who was planning on taking on these baggage, or even potential time bombs, with him. Cale gently smiled at her.

"The narrator speaks such harsh words." Mila said with a small wince as some people nod in agreement. 

"And you know about the black robe, right?"
"I know. I will definitely keep it a secret."

Alberu had told Litana that they had someone to deal with the dead mana bombs. Cale had brought that person over with him, and this was, of course, something that needed to be kept a secret. Litana had not told anybody other than Bin and a couple other direct subordinates.

Many nod in appreciation at how the queen was honest. If it were someone else, they would have used that as blackmail material.

"Stupid, should have used it as a leverage." TBOAH! Adin scoffed in disappointment. 

"Not everyone rules by using fear and blackmail." TCF! Adite argued with a frown, not liking how someone is looking down on kindness. 

Litana looked at the empty teacup and got up from her seat.

"Let us get up now."

Cale followed her up as he did not have anything else to say either. She looked toward Cale and asked.

"Will you leave right away?"
"I plan to move as quickly as possible once the Holy Maiden has healed."

Litana nodded her head as if she had expected his answer and started to smile.

"Well, you don't stay in one place for too long, young master Cale." TCF! Litana said. 

"Hyung-nim is a busy person, after all." TBOAH! Basen said.

"Yeah, extremely busy." TCF! Basen murmured with a small frown on his face, not liking that his brother was too busy to spend time with his siblings. Well, he did know it was kind of his fault for being hesitant to approach TCF! Cale, being a child born from another father, but he should have been brave and approach him. Now he regretted it, a childish part of him wanting to be hugged by his brother like TCF! Cale's adopted children.

"I feel like she will recover quickly with you by her side, young master Cale."

'I think that she'll be able to get the greatest revenge.'

Litana did not say that part. The greatest revenge that Cale had talked about, living happily ever after. She thought that Cale would give that to the twins.

"...Um...yeah...I mean, in a way, young master Cale will grant us the greatest revenge." TCF! Hannah awkwardly said. "By that, I mean handing our enemies to us for us to kill."

'How could someone always be putting others before himself?'

She did not have the confidence to live like Cale. In return, she decided to do the best she could in her role.

"Don't worry, queen Litana, I don't think anyone can live like that." TBOAH! Rosalyn said. 

"Young master Cale, I will take responsibility for safely escorting you to the shore."
"Great, thank you very much."

Cale wanted to tell Litana that she didn't need to do that but thought it would get annoying to have to explain himself, and so he just accepted her offer.

"Everything for you is annoying." Soo Hyuk said with a knowing smile.

"Of course not." TCF! Cale denied. "I find sleeping and eating fun."

"Who wouldn't?" TBOAH! Archie asked rhetorically. 

'I have two Dragons with me.'

Cale's group did not need an escort.

TCF! Litana just smiled awkwardly here, realizing how stupid her kindness was.

'Oh well, no one could have known before.' she thought to console herself.

Clunk. Clunk.

The carriage clunked as it traveled on the dirt road. This single carriage was heading to Harris Village.

Click. Shhhhh.

The window by the driver's side opened. Ron, who was serving as the driver, looked inside.

"Young master-nim, the road seems to be rough because of the couple days of rain we had. I ask for your understanding."
"It's fine since the seat is soft."

Cale answered as he looked around.

Eruhaben was across from him, sitting with his legs crossed and looking out the window. Tasha was sitting on top of the carriage.
She said that it was because the seats were tiny and because it was suffocating sitting in a carriage with two Dragons.

"True." mostly everyone said in understanding. 

As for the people next to Eruhaben and Cale, that was a mess.

First, the swordmaster Hannah, who was wearing a white robe, had taken up a large portion of the chair and was leaning back while holding Mary's hand.

"Is this the start of a forbidden rela-" Taylor quickly covered TCF! Cage's mouth before she could finish, having a feeling his friend would be scolded by those with kids in the room who were still innocent regarding the other kind of love.

Raon and the Saint, Jack, were next to the two women.
Raon started to speak.

"Hey little Saint, have you ever been to the Forest of Darkness?"

He sounded like an emperor talking to one of his subjects.

"Well, Raon is a dragon." Dodori said. "And dragons are the most revered species."

Jack respectfully responded back.

"No, Dragon-nim. I have never been outside of the Empire's capital until recently when we were on the run."
"I see! I will show you around! I will show you around the village as well!"

"I will also show you the world when we get out of here, little saint and sister!" Raon said while the twins thanked him.

Mary, who had been quiet, started to speak as well.

"I had never seen the world before until Dragon-nim showed me around either. There are many amazing places in the world."

TCF! Mary nod as TBOAH! Mary looked a bit envious and curious.

Mary and Jack were two innocent souls who did not know anything about the world and seemed to fit right in with Raon.

Cale, who was observing them while internally clicking his tongue, made eye contact with Jack. Jack bowed toward Cale. Both of his hands were wrapped up in bandages.

Cale had introduced his group to Jack and Hannah as he was taking them to the Super Rock Cave. This included the two Dragons.
At that moment, Jack had responded back with a voice that was full of admiration.

'As expected, the light seems to be by someone with such a big heart.'

TCF! Jack squirmed on his seat from the disbelieving look TCF! Cale and the others' gave him.

Cale didn't really like that response. However, Hannah gave him quite a favorable response.

'Great. We should be able to do it properly.'

He didn't need to ask what she was thinking about doing.
Hannah seemed very happy that there were two Dragons. Hannah was excited about the thoughts of getting her revenge.
That type of response was what Cale preferred.

"You hate bloodthirsty people but prefer their reactions and answered compared to normal people like the saint?" TBOAH! John asked incredulously. "How ironic is that?"

"Very, brother." TCF! Pen answered. 

"Huuuuu."

Cale heard a sigh and thought that he had subconsciously sighed.
However, it was not him. Eruhaben was staring at Raon before turning back to look out the window. He then started to mumble.

"My goodness, I have never seen a Dragon acting as a guide. I'm definitely getting too old."

Eruhaben seemed to be saying that quite often these days.

"More than I want to, it seems." Eruhaben said with a sigh. "Aigoo, all I wanted was to rest before my death so why am I suddenly hearing and doing all sorts of bullshit?"

Cale was now used to it, and so he started to lean back in the seat. He was planning on resting until they arrived at the underground villa.

They soon arrived at the underground residence with their new party members. The people who had been at the residence came up to greet them.

However, their gazes while looking at the Saint and Holy Maiden were not warm.

"As expected." TCF! Jack mumbled sadly while TCF! Hannah flinched a little. 

"Don't worry, they'll warm up to you quickly." TCF! Hans said with a cheerful smile.

Cale observed the expressions on the group's faces.

"Oh, new family members!"

Hans, who did not know anything, had a bright expression,

"Young master-nim, give me a little credit~" TCF! Hans whined. "Of course I know who they are and what they supposedly did! I just trusted your trust in them! I mean, you wouldn't bring them to us if they really did it, right?"

'Hans really is a capable butler, just below Ron.' TCF! Deruth thought with a smile. 'It was a good idea to assign him to watch over Cale.'

while the Wolf children looked toward Beacrox and Ron for guidance. At that moment, Beacrox started to speak.

"It looks like we will need to prepare food for two more people."

Seeing Beacrox being okay with it, the Wolf children all relaxed.

"How rude, they don't trust me at all!" both Hans looked sad at this while Maes felt guilty.

"No, it's just that you trust everyone." Maes explained, only to make both Hans sadder and himself guiltier.

Cale's gaze then turned toward Choi Han and Rosalyn.

Choi Han was looking off at a distance while Rosalyn smiled as soon as she made eye contact with Cale.

"Why do I suddenly have a bad feeling?" TCF! Cale murmured to himself.

Rosalyn and the swordmaster Hannah had fought once over the ocean. Cale recalled the conversation the two of them had while fighting.

'Wow, unni, you are so strong.'
'Right? I am a pretty strong mage.'
'...Unni, you have another mage as well?'
'Didn't I tell you that we are a secret organization?'

Cale recalled how the golden aura and magic had filled the air. Cale put on an awkward smile in response to Rosalyn's smile.

'Ah, now I understand.' TCF! Cale thought, also putting an awkward smile on when TCF! Rosalyn looked at him with the same smile on screen.

It was at that moment.

The swordmaster Hannah had pulled off her hood.

"Mm."
"Ah."

Hannah's face that was covered in the spider web-like scar was revealed. Some of the group could not help but gasp.

"They were just shocked, not disgusted." TCF! Beacrox explained so that the twin girl won't get mistaken. 

"I know." TCF! Hannah said although the twitch on her lips and her teary eyes said otherwise.

Hannah looked toward them and bowed her head.

"Thank you for your hospitality."

A hand reached out in front of her. Hannah lifted her head to see Rosalyn reaching her hand toward her. Hannah started to reach her own hand out before stopping after seeing her now disgusting looking hand.

"Don't feel...embarrass about yourself." TBOAH! Mary said with a confident look, only stopping to drink water. 

"...I'll...try." TCF! Hannah said with a small nod, unsure if she can do it as she's been living her life by hiding from the world.

However, the other hand quickly grabbed her hand. Rosalyn started to speak to Hannah.

"Welcome."

TCF! Hannah looked at TCF! Rosalyn, who only smiled at her, gratefully.

Rosalyn and Cale made eye contact and Cale nodded his head. Rosalyn was really the person who best understood Cale.

"Smart Rosalyn understands Human the most after me!" Raon proclaimed.

"And us, nya!" Hong said while raising his paw with his sister.

Cale stepped forward and started to speak to everyone.

"Let's get some rest first."

He was tired and wanted to lay down.

"You did do a lot of things." TBOAH! Odeus said sympathetically. "You deserve to rest."

"If only I can rest every day." TCF! Cale sighed tiredly. 

"The world will be ruined without you stumbling and solving major problems." TBOAH! Gashan said. "That is what the world tree said."

"Somebody else can replace my place." TCF! Cale argued.

"There's a reason you were sent here out of everyone else, stupid." Rok Soo said which made TCF! Cale tched not have any answer for that.

A few weeks passed by.

"How envious." TBOAH! Alberu murmured in envy. "I only have one hour full rest tops besides the regular four hour sleep."

"How can you survive with that schedule?!" TCF! Cale, Rok Soo, and TBOAH! Cale all gasped in shock and bewilderment. 

"That's fucked up." the water said with a frown.

"What a shitty schedule." the fire exclaimed.

"You need to take more rest and care for yourself, crown prince." Jour worriedly said.

"I will." both Alberu's said in unison.

It was now the middle of the summer and extremely hot. Cale was lying down on top of the marble floor.

'The marble is the best when it's hot.'

"Yes but it's been to lie down on the floor without any blanket or mattress, Cale-nim." TCF! Choi Han gently scolded.

He had pushed aside the carpet on the fifth floor in order to lay down on the cold marble and relax.

Aaaaaah!
Ooaaaaah!

The energetic voices were still shouting outside the window. They were in the midst of their training. Of course, this had nothing to do with Cale.

"Until you find a way to make it yours." Jung Soo teased.

Plop. Plop.

He was eating grapes one at a time as he started to mumble to himself.

"It's about time they contact me."

At that moment, a chilliness that was incomparable to the marble landed on Cale's neck. His gaze immediately headed toward the desk.

The video communication device was glowing red.

'It's the crown prince.'

That color meant that Alberu was contacting him.

"Haaaa."

"You're the only citizen who would react like that when the crown prince calls." TBOAH! Tasha wryly smiled. 

Cale lifted himself off the floor. He had been waiting for this call.

He had been rolling around doing nothing in order to gather enough energy for this moment. It was now time to put that energy to use.

TCF! Cale ignored the gazes that seemed to gaze at his soul. 

"Cale." Jour said.

"Yes, mom." he simply said. "I'll change that habit."

Cale headed toward the door to find either Rosalyn or Raon to answer the call.

However, he didn't need to go very far.

Screeeech.

The door had opened with a weak noise and Raon entered.

"Ra-."
"Don't talk to me."

'Hmm?'

Cale flinched.

Similarly, TCF! Cale also flinched in shock as everyone wondered why Raon reacted like that to TCF! Cale. 

"Did yo-they fight?" Eruhaben asked Adalie, quickly remembering that they were watching the future.

"Nope and I won't tell you why he is acting like that since it's going to be revealed soon." Adalie said.

Raon's shoulders were down as he flew in. There was no strength as his wings fluttered. Raon's eyes were down as well.
Rather than flying, Raon was actually floating with his paws down as if he had no energy.

Many looked worried for the usually energetic dragon, especially TCF! Cale who hugged him.

'Why is he like this?'

Cale had never seen Raon like this before.
At that moment, one more person entered the room. No, another Dragon entered the room.

"Eruhaben-nim."

It was the Gold Dragon, Eruhaben.

"Eruhaben-nim." TCF! Cale said with a smile that sent shivers down everyone's spine. "You better not have done anything."

'I thought he feared the ancient dragon? This is a scam!' many thought. 

Eruhaben peeked toward Raon before looking back toward Cale and starting to speak.

"Ahem, hem. I'm not saying this because I was the one to teach him."
"Excuse me?"
"He is pretty smart. He learned things that he should learn in three months in just one month."

"That's amazing, Raon-nim!" TBOAH! Lily praised. "I wish I can study that quickly, too."

"You will be able to do it soon, little Lily!" Raon said with pride. "Just keep trying!"

'Why is he suddenly telling me this?'

Cale could not understand Eruhaben's random comment and Raon's depressed appearance. Eruhaben continued to speak as if he could not see the confusion on Cale's face.
Eruhaben also seemed to be confused.

"But he is not growing."
"...What?"

"Do you mean that he isn't..." Mila couldn't continue her sentence, too shocked at the news.

"Oh no." Dodori said with a frown of worry. 

'Now what is he saying?'

Eruhaben started to speak as if he had no idea what was going on.

"He's not reaching his first growth phase."

'Hmm?'

"It should be time, so what is going on? He needs to create the plate in order for his body to grow as well." 

Cale finally understood what was going on. He turned his head to look at Raon and the two made eye contact.

Many looked worried at the reveal and finally understood why the little dragon was sulky. To not be able to grow and pass the first phrase is something all dragons feared.

"...Human, don't talk to me."

Raon then crawled underneath the blanket.

"...But I am great, so I will still do what I need to do."

He then proceeded to connect the video communication device.

"Dragon-nim is so kind, to still do his work even if he isn't in the mood." TBOAH! Amiru said. 

"Don't worry, little kid, you're still strong so fight me!" TCF! Toonka said in excitement, only to be held down by TCF! Harol who sighed tiredly.

Cale saw that the video communication device was glowing blue with Raon's magic before turning his gaze over to the bed.

A lump the size of Raon was now at the center of the blanket.

Eruhaben sighed before leaving the room while Cale looked toward Alberu's face that was over the video communication device on the opposite side of the room.

Alberu commented as soon as he saw Cale's face.

– Why do you have such an expression on your face? Did the heat get to you? 

No one said anything, not sure what to say after what they just saw.

"Well...it seems like the future is already beginning to look shitty." TCF! Bud said, drinking alcohol before his last strand of sanity leaves him.
