Chapter 35
"The fuck is wrong with you?" TBOAH! White Star asked Adalie, who was sitting on the floor while looking sad and blankly staring at the wall, the moment he entered the room.
"Fuck off, white rubbish." Adalie said while turning away from him.
"She forgot about April fools day." TCF! Adin commented while yawning a little. "Whatever that is."
"How stupid." TBOAH! White Star scoffed, not knowing what 'April fools day' meant but it sounded idiotic in his opinion. Anyway, he sat on his usual seat before thinking of his plans and improving it based on the show they are watching in order to pass time and wait for the rest to arrive. He didn't bother making a ruckus because the last time some buffoon (Toonka) did it, Adalie hung him upside down. And, while it wasn't a hard punishment, he would rather not watch the entire episode by hanging upside down - he might miss some important information that would make his plans useless. Fortunately for him, he didn't have to wait long as the others arrived within ten or so minutes, all wondering the same thing as him (disgusting, in TBOAH! White Star's opinion, how he thought of the same thing as those morons).
"What's April fools day?" TBOAH! Billos asked in confusion.
"It's an...event in our world where people try to fool others through pranks." TCF! Choi Han explained with a hint of excitement. "It's a fun day."
"Were you planning on fooling us or something?" Maes innocently asked Adalie.
"Not you people." Adalie denied, not further explaining which caused some to wonder just who she wanted to fool.
"Anyway, let's start watching or whatever." Adalie soullessly said, playing the episode which earned everyone's attention.
Chapter 132: Not Scared (3)
Hilsman looked at Cale, who was suddenly introducing himself, with confusion.
"Not gonna lie, I would too if someone suddenly introduced himself to air." Jung Soo confessed. "I'd think they're either seeing ghosts or is going crazy."
"You're not alone." Soo Hyuk agreed. "I'd immediately flee from that place so it's brave of Hilsman to stay. Eruhaben-nim is an exception because he's a strong ancient dragon."
"Do you really think I'd go crazy?" TCF! Cale asked with a raised brow, only for it to twitch when the two didn't look at him while whistling innocently. "Well, fuck you too."
He ignored the looks given to him by Eruhaben and Sheritt for cursing, too offended by his hyungs' actions.
However, there was someone grabbing his shoulder and pushing him back.
"Stand still."
"Excuse me? Hek, yes sir!"
"Poor Hilsman." TCF! Amiru said while staring at the said man on the screen with pity.
"He's stuck between two scary places." TBOAH! Adite whispered. "Dragon-nim who he hasn't interacted much with or young master Cale who appears to have gone crazy."
"I'd choose the dragon if I was in his place." TBOAH! Duke Fredo calmly said. "At least I'd be safe considering he hasn't murdered me from the brief times we've interacted and I'm a vampire while that man is a human."
It was Eruhaben.
Raon was next to Eruhaben and holding his head up with his short paws as he observed Cale.
"Cute." TCF! Litana murmured with a small smile.
'Our human is in a weird state.'
"Define weird." TCF! Hannah said with a slightly teasing tone, now comfortable with speaking her mind without fear.
All sorts of different powers of nature were surrounding Cale right now while the power of earth was coming out from between the cracks in the boulder.
"That looks amazing." TBOAH! Lily said while looking at the screen in awe.
Eruhaben also noticed this and moved back.
Ancient powers had to be earned on your own. Others could not intervene to help. They could stand guard in order to protect the person, but Eruhaben didn't think a Dragon should stoop down to the level of guarding a human.
"...So what were you doing the entire time?" Rasheel decided to comment when he saw his fellow dragons not willing to speak. "Babysitting?"
All he received was a glare.
"Goldie! Let's guard him!"
Of course, there were always some exceptions.
"Of course I'll protect my human!" Raon said with a prideful look which made some coo.
Eruhaben ignored Raon, who sighed before taking Hilsman to stand guard around Cale with him.
The boulder continued to crack as they did that.
Crrraaaaaack-
The boulder that was cracking on its own looked odd.
"I've seen odder things." TCF! Odeus said with a shrug which made both Billos look at him with curiosity.
A shocked voice was speaking to Cale inside his head while that was going on outside.
– ...There's a human who earned all four of their powers.
"Kakaka, shocking, right?" the fire said with a laugh. "I was also in disbelief when I first saw it!"
The voice was full of shock and disbelief, however, Cale just focused on the cracking boulder.
"Of course he would ignore the voice." TCF! Rosalyn said with a fond smile.
'This was an entrance.'
He could see darkness through the cracks in the boulder.
Some looked curious on what lied ahead, especially since it seemed like the ancient power was protecting the place.
The darkness was headed downward and leading to an underground area.
Although it could have been difficult to take a step into that pitch black darkness, Cale did not hesitate to walk inside.
"Bad Cale, nya!" Hong said while slightly slapping TCF! Cale who only patted his head.
"I'll be more careful in the future." TCF! Cale said before thinking. "Or, well, I'll try to."
"I guess it's better than never." TCF! Lock hesitantly said which caused some sighs.
– Take the belonging of my friends.
– You have earned the right to do that.
There was no reason to hesitate when the home-owner gave him permission.
"Typical you." TCF! Alberu said with a sigh as TCF! Cale shrugged.
"I was given permission." he simply said.
"True." TBOAH! Archie agreed before slightly flinching at the look both Shicklers gave him.
Cale disappeared into the darkness.
Raon mumbled while watching Cale walk in.
"Goldie, should we follow him? Our weak human is extremely weak."
"Aigoo, what did I do to deserve this?"
TCF! Cale immediately covered the mouth of Jung Soo who was about to give reasons as to why the dragon deserved it.
"Don't make him angry." TCF! Cale hissed while Jung Soo gave a small pout.
"I wasn't going to." Jung Soo mumbled like a child wrongly scolded.
Eruhaben let out a sigh before pushing Raon down to the ground. Raon started to flail around.
"Stop it! How dare you do that to a great and mighty Dragon!"
"Little kid, I'm also a Dragon. Just be a good boy and wait here."
Raon pouted and wrestled out of Eruhaben's grip.
"Don't do that again, Goldie Gramps!" Raon said with a small pout as Eruhaben just nod.
He then calmly observed the cave that appeared once the boulder cracked.
Cale had disappeared into the darkness and was no longer visible.
However, Cale was not having any issues with going in the right direction while inside the darkness.
'The earth is showing me the way.'
It was an interesting experience.
"You don't say." TBOAH! Elisneh sarcastically said. "It isn't like this never happened before."
"You're just jealous that isn't you." TBOAH! Cage said with a glare.
An unknown language showed Cale the way every time he took a step forward. This allowed him to have no fear as he continued to walk.
"Woww." Dodori said in amazement.
Clack. Clack.
He continued to walk farther into the darkness.
'I wonder what they left behind.'
These were things left behind since ancient times. Cale's feet felt as light as a feather.
"...At least you didn't scam him?" TBOAH! Alberu said, questioning his words halfway through.
"Hey, its been pretty obvious how greedy I am since the past episodes, no?" TCF! Cale said with a raised brow. "What makes you think this is different?"
"I...don't know in all honesty." TBOAH! Alberu confessed.
At that moment, he heard the voice of the Super Rock.
– I lived a very difficult life. I became an orphan at a young age and had to survive on my own. The only thing I could control was the earth beneath me and the earth gave me strength as well.
– Ah, I remember how my dream was to be able to eat three hearty meals a day and sleep without any worries.
Cale stopped walking.
Similarly, no one bothered speaking, all too focused on listening.
– However, I realized that I was given a power by Heaven and thought that I needed to use the power for good. That was why I always looked for ways to help people.
– I wanted to be someone who could protect the weak people who reminded me of my past.
Cale crossed his arms and quietly listened to the voice.
– And I do not regret the life that I chose.
Cale's lips started to twist.
This is what the villains also did, finding the life story annoying.
"How disgusting." TCF! Adin said with a scowl. "Why live such a useless life?"
"Yes." TCF! White Star agreed with a frown. "To live is to do whatever you want and not to be that disgustingly kind. You should be more greedy."
"It's a better life when compared to the likes of yours." Taylor said with narrowed eyes towards those who spoke before looking at Super Rock with a kind look. "But, as much as it pains me to say, I agree that you should live a little more selfish."
Super Rock only nod without saying anything, understanding what the young man was talking about from what he had learned of the young lads past. To be severely injured by his own brother who he treated kindly, well, anyone's bound to become a little more selfish.
– However, if there is something I do regret, it is the fact that I stuck too tightly to my beliefs. I chose to stay and protect the weak, even when I knew that my friends were in danger.
Here, good people like Litana looked conflicted, wondering what their choice would be if they encountered that problem.
– I protected the weak, however, all of my friends ended up dying.
– That is why the only thing I could do was find their belongings once they were gone.
"You don't need to feel guilty about that." the shield kindly said to Super Rock while smiling at him.
"He needs to." the fire said with an evil look before whispering. "If he gets distracted, I might be able to win in a fight."
Unfortunately for him, Super Rock was beside him and heard everything he said.
"...Hah..." the Super Rock could only sigh while slightly smiling, knowing that the fire had no grudge against him. He actually felt free now, glad that his worry of being hated by his friends was gone.
– In the end, I ended up leaving this world before I could pass their belongings onto the people who had earned their powers.
– But I am happy that I was able to protect this land.
"Such a great friend." TBOAH! Tasha said with small tears in his eyes because she was touched.
"He is." Super Rock's friends agreed while Super Rock bashfully smiled.
"They are greater friends." he said.
Cale started to walk once again.
There was no reason to pay any more attention to what the voice was saying.
"You're just going to ignore everything you don't want to hear, huh." Rok Soo said with a knowing look.
"Of course." TCF! Cale easily agreed. "Why would I bother listening to other people's life stories when my own life is already hard?"
"Of course the legend's life must be filled with hardship." TBOAH! Clopeh sagely nod.
"Of course." TCF! Clopeh agreed. "How can he be a legend if he doesn't overcome any obstacle?"
The owner of the voice was different.
He was very different compared to Cale.
Cale considered himself and his people to be more important than others. As for dying while protecting someone else? He didn't have any inclinations toward something like that.
The stares given to TCF! Cale were painful.
'There's no reason for us to be similar.'
"True." TBOAH! Mary nod. "We are all different."
"Exactly!" TCF! Cage agreed. "Being similar with everyone else is boring!"
– I was happy. However, I was sad that I could not see my friends before they died. I was sad that I could not pass their belongings on to their successors.
– I was sad that I too could not pass my power onto anyone before I died.
Cale could see a faint light at the end of the darkness.
He started to walk faster.
The light soon seemed to be right in front of him.
Flash.
He could see once again.
At that moment, the profound voice started to speak once again.
– This is what I have left behind.
A wide area appeared with orbs on the ceiling lighting up the entire area.
Cale was shocked.
Similarly, many people let out gasp of shock and surprise.
"Beautiful!" TCF! Lily exclaimed.
"It is." TBOAH! Basen nod with his eyes glued to the screen.
'I should bring them there sometime.' TCF! Cale thought.
"...What the."
It looked amazing.
– Ahem, I was not materialistic, but I paid attention to this place because I couldn't let my friends' successors come to a shabby place.
"Damn." TCF! Kora said with awe. "That's a very grand place."
"It's similar to the palace." TBOAH! Alberu commented. "Maybe even slightly bigger."
"You're so lucky." TCF! Bud enviously said. "I got my ancient power but didn't receive any gift."
"It's because he's special unlike you." TCF! Glenn bluntly said which made TCF! Bud gasp in feign hurt.
He could see a five-story grand villa made with marble pillars.
The walls, pillars, and roof were simple, but they were placed in a way to make it look cool. The window frames, doors, and doorknobs all looked like an expert had spent numerous nights carefully carving them.
It was fancier than the Henituse Estate, no, even the crown prince's palace.
"...I'll invite you all soon." TCF! Cale begrudgingly said when he saw the looks given to him by his allies/future allies. "That is, if you are willing to pay."
"Of course you wouldn't do something for free." TCF! Alberu sighed. "How much."
"For normal people, one silver. For nobles, three silvers. For royalty, one gold." TCF! Cale said with a scamming smile. "Of course, that is per hour."
"So if I want to stay the whole day, I have to pay twenty-four gold?!" TCF! Alberu exclaimed with incredulousness.
"Of course, your highness." TCF! Cale smiled.
"You damn scammer." TCF! Alberu scowled.
There was a garden in front of the villa as well. Although there were no trees, there were many eye-catching sculptures. There was also a fountain made of marble, even though there was no water flowing through it.
"Wow."
– My house is a little nice. Ahem.
'Little? This is extremely nice. This person was surprisingly materialistic.'
Super Rock only smiled sheepishly for being called out while his friends snickered.
Cale started to smile.
However, the smile disappeared as soon as he saw something to the side of the villa.
"...What is that?"
He saw something that gave him an ominous feeling.
"Oh no." TBOAH! Witira said with worry.
"Please don't touch it, young master-nim." TCF! Ron said with a benign smile.
"Of course." TCF! Cale nod, already used with the threatening look of Ron.
'Hoh.' TCF! Ron thought with amusement as he noticed this. 'It seems the young puppy already got used to me...should I change things up a bit?'
There was a large stone pillar surrounded by metal chains. Furthermore, there were papers that looked like talismans all around the pillar.
Not only that, but there was also a magic circle surrounding the stone pillar in the middle and glowing dark red.
It was easy to think this was a stone pillar that sealed a Demon, a ghost, or even a Demon Lord.
"Of course not." Mila said with a smile before looking worried. "Right?"
"It's not." Super Rock confirmed.
"Understandable thought, though." TBOAH! Choi Han said, still feeling slightly awkward with everyone in the room. "Since earth liked making books and shows with that plot."
Cale slowly walked away from the pillar.
At that moment, the profound voice started to speak again.
– There is a sad truth about this place.
Cale did not want to know.
However, as usual, Cale was not able to prevent the owner of the ancient power from speaking.
"You need to know since you'll be living there." TBOAH! Gashan said with a knowing smile, the world tree having whispered to him.
– When I was still alive, I saw that there were monsters here that I could not see anywhere else in the continent. They were monsters from the Eastern continent.
That was the same for the Forest of Darkness that Cale knew about.
There were monsters from the Eastern continent, as well as many mutant monsters.
– I figured out the secrets behind that once I entered this cave.
'Maybe?'
Cale's gaze turned toward the ugly stone pillar.
"I like the emphasis on 'ugly'." TCF! Jopis said, ruining the tense mood.
– There was a mysterious path in this cave that connected to the Eastern continent. The monsters that accidentally entered into that path ended up crossing over to this Western continent. They mutated and became stronger and more violent along the way.
Cale brushed his face with his hands.
– But the path would not let humans, Elves, nor even Dwarves through it. Only monsters were able to go through this path.
– My friends and I were unable to decipher the mysteries of this path. All we could do was barricade the entrance on both sides to in order prevent the stronger mutated monsters from crossing over. I protected the Western entrance.
He had learned about something useless once again.
"Which will probably help you in the future." TBOAH! Obante said, already used to TCF! Cale learning seemingly useless things, only to find out it was important in the future.
– It is a strong seal that should last at least 100,000 years. Only someone in possession of my power is able to remove the seal prior to the scheduled deadline.
Cale's frown lessened a bit.
The ancient times were only 10,000 years ago.
"Well, you still got a long time to relax and enjoy." TCF! Hans said with a smile before oddly feeling he said something he shouldn't have but shrugged it off.
"Hmm."
Cale looked around the area.
There was a lot of space in here next to the villa and the garden.
He had a thick smile on his face as he headed toward the villa.
He had no choice but to do so.
The Fire of Destruction had been pointing toward the villa ever since he arrived. It was the same for the Sound of the Wind, the Indestructible Shield, and the Vitality of the Heart.
– Enter.
The home-owner was telling him to enter as well.
Some took a deep breath, preparing themselves for the inside. Would it be as beautiful as the outside or would it be dull?
Screeeech-
The door that was at least 10,000 years old was still functioning properly.
How was this possible? That was the thought on Cale's mind as he entered.
"You have talking ancient powers. I don't think you're the right person to wonder about that." TBOAH! Bud said.
Clack. Clack.
The floor was made of marble.
Cale walked past an elegant lamp and all sorts of sculptures before looking around the empty first-floor hall and looking up. He could see a staircase that led up to the fifth floor.
"It's really pretty." On said with a satisfied smile, glad that TCF! Cale's new house was something that fitted him - a house for a king.
– It is on the third floor.
Cale stepped onto the stairs. There was a lot of dust on them, but the beauty could not be hidden.
There were empty rooms and a beautiful terrace on the second floor.
Cale hurried up to the third floor.
There were multiple rooms on the third floor as well.
– It is the inner four rooms.
Cale headed toward the farthest rooms and stood in front of the first room's door. The door opened once he pushed, allowing him to see inside of the room.
– The glutton may have been only interested in eating and just pushed aside any jewels to the corner. That is why I kept them safe.
"Holy."
He could see a glass display case full of jewels.
"I really shouldn't give you any more golden plaques." TCF! Alberu blankly commented. "I don't believe that even the palace have that much jewels."
Cale headed to the next room.
– The crybaby had the power of restoration but was such a coward. The crybaby always collected weapons, so, although they are general weapons, I kept them all.
"You guys can test it out when you enter the house in the future." TCF! Cale said.
"Of course, we need to pay for them or something, right?" TCF! Hannah stated.
"...I'll think about it." TCF! Cale wanted to say yes but his children were looking at him and he needed to be a good influence.
Cale headed to the next room after taking a look through the crybaby's room.
Screeeech, bang.
– This the money that the cheapskate hoarded, but I don't know if this is still the same currency. But it should be useful since they are gold and silver coins. I kept them safe for him.
"I'll give you three some later." TCF! Cale said to the kittens and little dragon who looked at him with shiny eyes as Raon brought out their piggy banks.
"Hahaha-."
Cale opened the final door.
– The thief kept a record of everything. The things that she stole, her power, as well as her own secret base. I kept all of the records.
'He kept everything. How could there be such a good person?'
"I'm not that good." Super Rock denied but was interrupted when his friends hugged him with tears in their eyes, touched that the rock kept everything for them.
"Hahaha!"
Cale could laugh without any reservations for the first time in a long time.
"You should laugh more." TBOAH! Rex said.
"Yeah." the dragon half-blood agreed with a small voice.
At this moment, he had forgotten about the Northern Alliance, Arm, and everything else.
"Good to know we're that unimportant to you." TCF! Adin said with a furious look, having never been deemed unimportant before.
Why?
Cale looked toward the other three rooms on the third floor. His gaze was full of expectations. He quickly went over to open the other three room doors.
– Mm, these are the things that I collected. I kept it all whenever people gave me something to thank me for saving them.
Screech. Screech. Screech.
All three doors were opened and Cale could see inside.
Cale brushed his face with his hands again.
'I'm so happy.'
"The only time you have that look on is when money is involved." TBOAH! Cale said in amusement. "Though, I think everyone would be happy to see that."
Many nod in agreement.
There were jewels, gold coins, and even some odd items in the things that the Super Rock Guardian had casually collected.
'Was his hobby collecting things?'
"Not exactly." Super Rock said but didn't clarify.
Cale applauded the Guardian's hobby.
"You are really amazing! How did you collect all of these things?"
Clap. Clap. Clap.
One person's clapping echoed in the dusty but fancy villa.
– Ahem, well, I guess I was a bit tidy.
Cale continued to clap in admiration as he headed toward the fourth floor. There was nothing on the fourth floor except the building itself, which was fancier than even the Henituse Estate.
Both Deruths wondered if they should renovate their house since their first born son looked happy with that kind of house.
That was enough to make Cale happy as he walked up to the fifth floor.
There was only one room on the fifth floor.
– This is my room.
Although it was only one room, it encompassed the entire fifth floor, including a study, a bedroom, and an office, which were all connected without any walls between them.
Cale could see a marble altar at the center of the room. It was about as tall as Cale's waist.
The altar was straight with many beautiful images inscribed on it. Furthermore, it was decorated with many jewels.
"And he says he isn't materialistic." TBOAH! Harol said with his lips quirking up in amusement.
And on top of that altar...
"...The Super Rock."
There was a small rock that was smaller than a baby's fist.
It was obviously the Scary Giant Cobblestone.
"I actually expected something larger." TCF! Eric said.
"Same." TCF! Gilbert agreed.
– That is my power.
'...It was a power that I could earn so easily?"
Cale felt like it was too easy to earn this, 'Scary Giant Cobblestone.' All he had to do was grab that rock in order to earn the power.
"It isn't easy by any means." TBOAH! Rei Stecker said with a shake of his head. "You were only able to obtain it easily because you already had the Super Rock's friends."
At that moment, the profound voice started to shout.
– Do you wish to gain my power?
'Yes?'
"Why the questioning tone?" TCF! Valentino asked in confusion.
"Because his voice sounded scary." TCF! Cale explained.
– Then chew it!
'Hmm?'
"Excuse me?" TCF! Beacrox subconsciously said in shock, looking at the dirty-looking stone. "Don't tell me you ate that, young master."
TCF! Cale only averted his eyes which made TCF! Beacrox rub his head in tiredness.
Cale stopped walking toward the altar.
– It is easy to earn my power. However, my power only activates when you are protecting something. I want my power to only be used for justice!
"Don't worry, Super Rock-nim." Pendrick said with a gentle smile. "Young master-nim will never do something evil... besides scamming bad people which is also a good thing,"
The person seemed to have changed as the owner of the ancient power shouted with vigor.
"I just wanted to test if you were brave and serious enough." Super Rock explained.
– The will to not back away in front of any sort of danger!
– Justice and the power of good are what keeps the world safe!
The Super Rock's owner was shouting.
– Chew it! You will gain this power if you eat this rock!
'He really wants me to chew it?'
Cale approached the altar.
– But the power can only be used for good!
It was an ominous voice that seemed to be saying that he'll end up being dragged into all sorts of annoying things if he earned this power. However, Cale had no thoughts about doing that.
Adalie suddenly let out a cough, causing some people to jump and look at her.
"Sorry." Adalie said after drinking some water. "I choked on cake."
'I just need the earth affinity.'
He could gain the affinity without using the power.
That was his goal.
Cale picked up the rock.
– Chew it! Chew it!
'...All of these ancient power owners are weird.'
"Rude." the heart said with an offended look. "You're also a weird owner. Who in their right mind will overwork me?"
He received no answer.
Cale debated it for a moment.
'Should I chew it?'
However, he did not have to debate it for a long time.
– I will also give you this villa if you take my power! The person who has this power is pretty much my heir anyway!
Cale put the rock in his mouth and started to chew.
"Bwahahaha." some laughed.
"Should I just bribe you in the future for your help?" Taylor said in amusement.
"You can." TCF! Cale shamelessly agreed. "Although the amount of money you need to pay depends on how hard the work is. Plus, my fees are high."
"It makes sense since you do your job with perfect accuracy." TCF! Toonka said with a wide smile.
The rock broke like a potato chip as soon as Cale bit down.
Both versions of Beacrox winced, feeling the need to clean TCF! Cale's teeth for at least ten times.
Boom.
Cale felt a vibration under his feet before the power started to rise up inside of him.
The owner of the ancient power started to speak.
– My power is something anybody can have.
– However, my power can only be used in certain situations.
His voice slowly started to sound like it was coming from further away.
– Guard.
– Protect.
– Sacrifice yourself.
"Sacrifice?!" many suddenly became alert with this statement, immediately looking at TCF! Cale who paled a little.
"I won't!" he immediately rejected the thought. "Why would I do so?!"
"Need we remind you of the instant scene?" TBOAH! Violan said with worry clear in her eyes and tone.
TCF! Cale couldn't say anything to defend himself, knowing his mother was right.
– That is the power of earth that gave its everything to the lifeforms that exist upon it.
***
Raon could see someone walking toward them from within the darkness.
"Human!"
It was Cale.
Raon instantly flew toward Cale.
"Human, human! I can feel the power of earth in you! You'll be fine now!"
Raon sniffled and looked toward Cale with admiration.
"He was worried sick about you." Eruhaben revealed. "He wouldn't stop flying around kept murmuring about what you were experiencing inside."
"G-Goldie gramps!" Raon shouted in embarrassment at his actions being revealed.
Eruhaben sighed at Raon before approaching Cale with a happy expression. Raon raised his voice, although his expression seemed happy.
"Human! Stop doing stupid things and just travel the continent now."
"Raon."
Cale cut Raon off.
Raon felt something odd while looking at Cale who called his name.
"I thought you were going to tell me to leave you alone, human!" Raon said which made TCF! Cale hug him. While Raon said it in a playful way, TCF! Cale knew he was serious about it and it made his heart heart at the thought of his child being insecure about his place.
"You're my child, Raon, don't forget that." he whispered to the dragon's ears, earning a satisfied hug back with the two kittens who joined in. "You two are also my children, okay?"
"Nya~" the two meowed in agreement.
Cale was smiling. Cale was smiling brightly.
"...Human, why are you laughing like that?"
Cale responded to Raon.
"I found my lair."
'Hmm?'
Raon's head tilted to one side.
Cale started to speak to all three of them.
"Follow me. Eruhaben-nim, please follow me."
Cale walked back into the darkness. He then observed the expressions of the three that arrived at the area at the end of the path.
Raon looked at the villa that seemed to be more luxurious than most palaces before turning to look at Cale.
"...Human! This!"
"It's our villa."
"Human, do you mean that?"
Cale nodded his head and responded back.
"Yes."
"Alright!"
Raon flew in a circle with excitement.
Many smiled at the scene, glad that they finally had their own place to stay.
Cale looked at Raon with satisfaction before making eye contact with Eruhaben. Eruhaben casually commented.
"Your luck is oddly good."
'Apparently so.'
Cale did not have a reason to deny it.
"You're the most unluckiest lucky person I ever met." TCF! Duke Fredo commented with many agreeing.
"It's part of his character." Rok Soo said. "Like how being a scammer is his second nature."
