After cheering up the saddened Super Rock, Adalie played the next episode in silence as she saw everyone curious at how TCF! Cale will attain the power. 

'Would it be in another weird way or the normal way?' many thought, some betting gold coins on it. Adalie found this funny since, after all the viewing and reading, some were still willing to bet that something normal would happen to TCF! Cale. Oh well, it's not her problem when some will lose money. It was unfortunate none of the villains joined in, scam...playing with them would have been fun. 

Chapter 131: Not Scary (2)

Things progressed smoothly so far so Cale was not scared.

"...You do know that you just jinxed yourself with that thought." Rok Soo said while staring at TCF! Cale before blinking. "Why do I feel like we had this conversation before?"

"Maybe because TCF! Cale's troubles always happen when he thinks nothing bad will happen?" TBOAH! Cale teased while TCF! Cale scowled at him.

"It is not." TCF! Cale denied. "Besides, I had the right to be confident there since I had dragons beside me."

"Fair point." TBOAH! Tasha agreed. "Dragons are the strongest beings in this world after the gods so having two to protect you is bound to make anyone brave." 

That was why Cale immediately traveled to the Forest of Darkness.

"Y, young master-nim, I will take the lead!"

Those from the Henituse family from both sides smiled at Hilsman trying to act brave to protect TCF! Cale.

"Nya, he shouldn't have bothered since our youngest is there." Hong said with a sigh. "Besides, he's the weakest there."

"Yeah!" Raon agreed while nodding his head. "I'm enough to protect Human! Goldie Gramps is just there for extra protection!"

"We should give him plus points for being brave enough to do that, nya~" On said as the other two agreed.

'Good thing Hilsman's not here.' TCF! Cale thought with a sweat drop after hearing his children's conversation. 'He would cry.'

Hilsman moved forward after seeing the entrance of the Forest of Darkness. However, he could see two people looking at him with blank expressions.

"Poor sir Hilsman." TBOAH! Hans said with a pitying look. 

One was Cale while the other was Eruhaben.

"Be kinder next time." Jour scolded the two, not bothered that the other one she was scolding was a dragon. "He has a fragile heart."

"Yes." the two obediently agreed for different reasons. TCF! Cale agreed because Jour was his mother (in a way) while Eruhaben agreed because he did not want to deal with Jour's (and other People in the room's) wrath. 

'Many are weak towards those who are pitiful.' some thought as they continued watching the two nod while trying to ignore the glares of others. 

However, another existence helped Hilsman relax a bit.

"Yes! Vice Captain, let's go!"

It was Raon.

"He might not be as strong as me or Goldie Gramps but he is still strong enough to defeat the monsters in the forest so he can go first." Raon explained when he saw some people looking at him, wondering why he was contradicting his statement from a while ago with his actions on the screen.

'My child's so smart.' Sheritt thought with a proud smile.

Raon stopped being invisible and urged Hilsman forward with a smile. Hilsman started to smile as well. However, Cale quickly interjected.

"Don't ruin other people's smile Cale." Jung Soo teased with a small laugh as TCF! Cale hit his left shoulder in annoyance.

"Shut up." TCF! Cale said with a frown. "You know that's not what I meant. I just thought he wanted to prove himself in front of a dragon or something so I had to clarify things with him."

"Hilsman, have you ever been to the center of the Forest of Darkness?"

The Vice Captain had trained in the outer regions of the Forest of Darkness last winter with the ten Wolf children.

TBOAH! Lock looked worried for his other-self and his siblings, not wanting them to die so young while both TBOAH! Rosalyn and TBOAH! Choi Han held each of his hand for comfort.

"I have followed Choi Han there once! Please trust me."

"You probably shouldn't." TBOAH! Valentino said with a worried look. 

"...Okay."

"Of course he does." TCF! Eric sighed as he tried calming his heart that was beating faster and faster due to nervousness and worry for his little brother. 

Cale waved for Hilsman to hurry up and move. Hilsman nodded his head and started to walk.

Cale leisurely followed behind him and looked to the side. Eruhaben had been quiet since earlier.

"Is something wrong Eruhaben-nim?"

Eruhaben looked toward Cale and started to speak.

"You also have 10 Blue Wolf Tribe children?"

"Yes."

Hans was currently staying in Harris Village with the ten Wolf children after having returned from the Ubarr territory. They all welcomed Cale's unexpected visit.

The Gold Dragon started to mumble.

"...Six ancient powers, all sorts of Beast people, and even multiple strong humans. What an exhausting way to live."

Cale was suddenly at a loss for words. Now that he thought about it, he was indeed living an exhausting life.

"You just realiz...of course you would only realized it now." TCF! Bud said, changing his tune halfway through after he recalled how oblivious TCF! Cale was with everything related to him. Heck, TCF! Cale wanted to have a slacker life so he decided to overwork himself and defeat the enemies of the world first while considering it as a 'normal' approach.

"You do know you can live easily by only caring for yourself." TBOAH! Duke Fredo commented as TCF! Cale looked at him with a raised brow.

"I am, though." he casually said which made many sigh.

"I really want to see how your brain can handle denying everything about yourself." TBOAH! Elisneh said with morbid curiosity as she looked at TCF! Cale's head, the latter slightly shivering in disgust. 

"Tsk. Tsk."

Eruhaben shook his head and clicked his tongue. He observed Cale's expression turning complicated as he started to think.

'This punk has a difficult life if you think about it.'

Many nod in agreement while thinking about everything TCF! Cale did.

Eruhaben had heard everything about the secret organization.

He wondered if a god had given this human punk all sorts of ancient powers to help him out since Cale seemed to get involved in all sorts of messes wherever he went.

"The god of death didn't." TBOAH! Cage said with a shake of her head. "I don't know about others but that bastard isn't that kind."

"Well, he did give the book of information to young master Cale." TCF! Litana said with a thoughtful look.

"Well, yes, but at the same time, what would happen if TCF! Cale never read the book that time?" TCF! Cage asked rhetorically. "He would have still been transferred in this world at that certain time but without any information to help."

"So, to summarize Cage's words, the god of death can be kind but never fully kind." Taylor said. "He will give you an unsuspecting useful item but if you don't use it, it's useless."

"I doubt any god is helping me." TCF! Cale said with a frown. "If they did, I wouldn't have had to fight the White Star."

'But you chose to fight him yourself by involving yourself in other people's affairs!' many thought in their hearts, knowing that verbalizing the words would be useless.

The Gold Dragon felt a bit of pity for the human in front of him.

"Just a bit?" Mila asked but received no answer. 

Of course, he did not know that it was not an act of god but Cale's own decision to gather all of these things. The Beast people, the ancient powers, and the human experts, Cale had done all of it himself.

Many nod.

"It's because Human has a soft heart that he is involving himself with others." Raon said.

"But that's why we are here to protect him!" Hong cheered as On nod in agreement along side the others like TCF! Choi Han's party.

There was no way that the Gold Dragon would know about that.

Eruhaben, who was currently having the wrong idea about Cale's life, could hear Raon starting to speak.

"You really are like the god of misunderstanding." Soo Hyuk commented. "I have never seen or read about anyone who entered your life without misunderstanding you at least once. Even Jung Soo, the team, and I misunderstand you at times."

TCF! Cale couldn't say anything, mostly because it was true.

"But it is fine because the weak human has me! He has the great and mighty Raon Miru!"

Raon nod with pride.

Raon seemed extremely pleased with himself.

The Gold Dragon ignored Raon and started to speak to Cale, who still seemed to be deep in thought.

"You're working so hard."

Cale nodded his head.

"...Seems that way. I need to quickly finish everything."

He needed to finish everything so that he could play. So that he could roll around on his bed and sleep all he wants.

Cale's desire for the slacker life started to get bigger and bigger.

"With a life like that, who wouldn't?" TBOAH! Jopis said while drinking tea. "I'm surprised you haven't given up on working when all you want is a slacker life."

The Ancient Dragon who had lived close to 1,000 years casually remarked after seeing the human thinking about his fate.

"You can tell me about what is bothering you."

"...Really?"

Cale's pupils turned hazy for a moment before returning to normal.

Eruhaben clicked his tongue and nodded his head.

"Tsk tsk, yes."

Cale started to think that Eruhaben would help him out at least once.

Eruhaben suddenly had a bad feeling of signing a deal with a cruel being. 

Cale started to smile. The Gold Dragon felt better, thinking that the human was happy about what he had just said.

"You did, in a way, Eruhaben-nim." TCF! Alberu said, knowing that TCF! Cale planned on scamming the dragon soon. How wouldn't he know what that look means when he's almost always in the receiving end of it.  

However, one person in the group was feeling something else.

"...Young master-nim."

"What is it?"

"...The monsters are weird."

The monsters at the edge of the forest were acting weird.

Those close with TCF! Cale grew worried, fearing the worst even if TCF! Cale had two dragons with him.

Kiiiiiii- Huff, kiiiiiiiii-

A goblin who could not even breathe properly ran away toward the grass.

The dragon half-blood looked at the goblin in slight pity and understanding, knowing the feeling of running away even if he was out of breath and felt like dying.

Boom. Boom. Boom!

A group of monsters that looked like rats were all banging their heads on the ground while shaking.

Hilsman, who was watching the monsters with confusion, accepted what was going on once Cale pointed to someone in their party.

"We have an adult Dragon with us."

"Ah."

It made sense.

Those who were worried sighed in relief. It seemed that the reason for the panic of the monsters were the dragons and not a strong enemy.

Eruhaben looked toward Raon and started to speak.

"Little kid, do you now know of my greatness?"

"...No!"

Raon turned his head away and flew over to Cale.

"Raon-nim is becoming a tsundere." TCF! Choi Han whispered to TCF! Rosalyn and TCF! Lock who tried their best to not laugh.

An Adult Dragon has an overpowering aura even without using Dragon Fear. Monsters that relied on their instincts would show the swiftest reaction to that aura.

- Human, I will soon go through my first growth phase! So I am better!

"Hoh?" Eruhaben said in amusement as Raon humped with a pout.

'Whatever you say.'

Cale ignored the whining voice in his head 

"I'm not whinny!" Raon whined and no one bothered correcting the child.

and started to speak to Hilsman, who was standing there with a blank expression.

"Keep going."

Eruhaben asked Cale a question.

"Cale Henituse, will you find the location of the ancient power once you get to the center of the Forest of Darkness?"

"Yes sir. I believe I will need to use one of my ancient powers to locate the Super Rock."

Cale thought that he would need to use the Fire of Destruction in order to find the house of the Guardian, the location of the Super Rock.

"It's a smart move." Super Rock commented. "I would definitely appear in front of a close rival."

"Human! You're going to use that thunderbolt again?! You're going to get hurt!"

"I will only use a weak version."

"Don't you dare cough up blood again! I will destroy all of the rocks in the world if you do! DESTROY THEM ALL!"

"The rocks did nothing, though." the wind said with a wry smile as the heart chocked a sob as he remembered the hard work he had to do every time TCF! Cale overused his powers.

"Please stop abusing us." the heart cried out pitifully but was ignored by TCF! Cale.

'It's not like I want to overuse you all too.' TCF! Cale bitterly thought.

"Yes, yes."

Cale casually played along with Raon.

Eruhaben had a look of disbelief while watching the two of them. However, he did not comment on it and instead asked a different question.

"Did you say you found a Dragon corpse in the black swamp in here?"

The dragons who looked bored immediately became alert, wanting to know more about the dead dragon.

"Yes sir. You mentioned that you have never been to the Forest of Darkness?"

"Yes. I didn't want to look at any of these ugly monsters."

'What a response.'

"Same." Rasheel agreed. "Why should I bother looking at those ugly things when I can just sleep?"

TCF!Cale, TBOAH! Cale, and Rok Soo look at him with an understanding look.

"Would you like to go to the swamp afterward?"

"No need. Too annoying. None of my business as to how another Dragon died."

"This is why I like you." TCF! Cale said with a smile.

Eruhaben showed an expression of annoyance. Raon flew up to his face and tilted his head in confusion.

"Really? Goldie, I'm curious about your story! I'm curious about you!"

'Goldie.'

The corner of Eruhaben's lips twitched before returning to normal.

Eruhaben just glared at anyone who shows as little as an upward quirk of their lips. Well, excluding the children and TCF! Cale although it was not because of his soft heart. Definitely not.

"Ahem. I'll tell you about it next time if you really want to know, little kid."

"Alright! I'll be waiting!"

"Ahem, ahem."

Eruhaben let out some fake coughs before stealthily changing the topic.

"It wasn't stealthy at all, Eruhaben-nim." TCF! Cale bluntly said as the golden dragon just sighed, knowing that TCF! Cale will never stop.

"Well, this Forest of Darkness is slightly unique, so it is worth visiting at least once. That is why I am here now."

"The Forest of Darkness is unique?"

The Henituse families and those working in it became more alert, wanting to know why the forest was unique besides the facts that were revealed like the dead dragon.

Eruhaben nodded his head.

"The Five Forbidden Regions that the humans talk about were determined hundreds of years ago. Of those, the 'Forest of Darkness,' the 'Path of No Return,' and the 'Lake of Despair,' have been around since ancient times."

"Since ancient times?"

Cale had never heard this story before.

"Of course you haven't." TBOAH! Violan said with a gentle voice. "Since no one in the house talks about it. The only way you would have known is if you read about it."

"Yes, these three have existed since ten thousand years ago. Ten thousand years is long, even for a Dragon."

The dragons nod in agreement.

"A thousand years is already too tiring, what more if you multiply that by ten?" Dodori said with a slight frown. "That would be torture."

Both Choi Hans also nodded along. 

'It would be torture, to live while those you love die in front of you.' the two thought while recalling their time from Harris village and how the villagers died.

Ancient times referred to anything more than ten thousand years old.

Cale felt like asking Eruhaben more questions about this curious story. However, something prevented him from doing so.

Grrrrr-

"Y, young master-nim!"

Clang.

Hilsman took out his sword and called out to Cale. Cale looked to the front.

They were currently at the boundary of the outer and inner regions of the Forest of Darkness. Hilsman was already across the boundary line.

Cale had come to this boundary before, but this was his first time stepping into the inner region.

'Although I've flown over it before.'

"Flown?" TBOAH! Adin unconsciously spoke but no one answered him which irked him but didn't bother speaking since he knew it would be a waste of breath. 

This was his first time walking through this region.

The necromancer Mary's cave that was full of skeletons was in the outer region as well.

It was because she did not want to run into any strong monsters for no reason.

"Who would want to fight monsters for no reason?" TCF! Harol asked sarcastically before glancing at the man beside him. "Besides Toonka, of course."

"Bwahahaha, who wouldn't want to become stronger?!" TBOAH! Toonka exclaimed with a wide grin while TCF! Toonka nod in agreement. 

"Me." TCF! Cale said while raising his hands along side Rok Soo and TBOAH! Cale.

Cale stepped over the boundary line.

Grrrr-

He could see a large monster as soon as he entered. A monster that looked like a more violent version of an ogre showed itself from between the trees.

Maes flinched a little at the sight while TCF! Lock held his right hand for comfort.

Its fangs were the size of Cale's arms and its black skin made it look uglier than an ogre. The club in its hand seemed to be made of rock.

However, this monster's eyes were focused.

It seemed to have some intelligence.

Both Lilys looked interested at this.

"Oraboni, how can a monster have intelligence?" TBOAH! Lily asked TCF! Cale. "Isn't it only the beast people who can?"

"While that is true, there are some exceptions such as..." TCF! Cale calmly explained.

"Young master-nim, please come behind me!"

Hilsman pointed his sword at the monster as if he had never been scared of it.

"I should give him a raise soon." TCF! Deruth said. "He's always willing to protect Cale no matter what danger they face."

"You should." TCF! Cale agreed, thinking about the many times Hilsman helped him. 

'Besides, he might go back to father if his salary increases.' TCF! Cale thought. 'If he does, I will be closer to my slacker life.'

Cale asked the brave Hilsman a question.

"What are you doing?"

"...Excuse me?"

Hilsman was confused at Cale's question. It was at that moment.

Boom.

The monster dropped the club in its hand and then...

Bang, bang!

It started to bang its head on the ground.

"Huh?!" many exclaimed in shock at the act of the monster.

"D-did the dragon-nims d-do something?" TBOAH! Obante asked while looking at Eruhaben and Raon in awe.

"We didn't." Eruhaben answered which made many wonder what happened.

Hilsman finally took the time to look around. It was quiet, too quiet.

At that moment, he could hear someone's voice.

"Oh, you have some intelligence."

It was Eruhaben.

"You liar!" TBOAH! White Star exclaimed with a smirk. "How low."

"Eruhaben-nim didn't lie." TCF! Cale explained with an annoyed look. "They didn't do anything. It's the monster who felt their auras and acted that way. Next time, instead of assuming things, think. Though, that would be hard for you since you never do it, right?"

"You bast-" TBOAH! White Star was interrupted when an apple pie hit his face. He turned to glare at the person who hit him but only found TCF! Jack looking at him innocently. "Who the fuck threw this pie at me! Stop hiding behind that clueless saint!"

Little did he know, the 'clueless saint' was the one who hit him, annoyed at how the White Star kept babbling about irritating things. Yes, it seems that even the kindest person in the room had his limits. 

Secretly, TCF! Hannah high fived her brother with pride.

Hilsman flinched at Eruhaben's comment before seeing something that he had never seen before.

"Hey."

Grrr.

"Lead us to the center."

Grr.

The monster quickly got up. Hilsman felt like he had seen the speed of a knight in the monster's movement.

Those who could fight agreed, surprised a monster that big could move that swiftly.

Bang!

The monster grabbed its club once again and slammed it toward a short tree next to it.

Crack, boom.

The tree fell over. Hilsman gasped at the strength of the monster, but the monster's next few actions were even more surprising.

The monster was guiding them while destroying any obstacle in their way.

Trees, small boulders, tall weeds, nothing survived the monster's desire to create a straight path for Eruhaben.

"Let's go."

Hilsman put his sword back in the scabbard at Eruhaben's words. He could feel the majestic nature of a Dragon.

However, Hilsman could not move.

People started pitying the man more, feeling that he deserved a higher salary and more respect for being dragged into TCF! Cale's whims.

"I feel your pain, Hilsman, I really do." Soo Hyuk said with an understanding look. 

"What do you mean?" TBOAH! Basen asked in curiosity.

"Well, that brother of yours, the one I know, just loved doing dangerous things without any prior mention so I always get surprise and have heart attacks." Soo Hyuk explained.

"Don't forget me!" Jung Soo exclaimed.

"You usually join him, though." Soo Hyuk immediately replied which made Jung Soo give him a sheepish smile.

'Sounds like Cale/Cale-nim/young master Cale.' many thought. 

"...Young master-nim?"

"Hey, why are you doing that?"

Eruhaben was looking at Cale with confusion while Raon was starting to get anxious.

"Human! Isn't that small thing in your hand the thunderbolt?!"

"Please don't do anything reckless, young master-nim." TCF! Ron said with a smile which scared TCF! Cale.

A small fire was floating on top of Cale's palm.

"Why are you using it without saying anything?! You cannot faint!"

"I won't faint from using such a small amount of power, Raon." TCF! Cale said while patting Raon's head to calm the little dragon down.

However, Cale could not hear Raon's comments.

Boom. Boom.

His heart had been beating wildly ever since they entered the inner region.

Cale lowered his head to look at the ground.

Something, an unknown aura, was rising up from the ground. That aura made the fire in his hand appear.

"...I got too excited when I felt a familiar aura." Super Rock confessed when his friends, the other ancient powers, turned to look at him.

Boom. Boom.

It also made the Vitality of the Heart run wild.

"They recognize each other even after death." Paseton said with a small smile as the ancient powers showed their glee in their own way.

"Of course we fucking do!" the the fire said with a smug look. 

"Yeah! We spent such a long time together it would be weird if we don't." the shield replied.

"They all have a unique aura around them so it's impossible to miss it!" the wind explained as Super Rock just nod in agreement. 

"...Huh?"

Cale sounded confused.

"Sorry, we didn't give you a warning." the heart meekly apologized as TCF! Alberu couldn't help but feel happy that TCF! Cale experienced what he was doing to the prince most of the time like dropping big bombs randomly.

Swiiiiiiiish-

Wind started to gather down at his feet. The Sound of the Wind was creating a small whirlwind by his feet.

And finally.

Paaat.

A small shield appeared on his left hand.

It was the Indestructible Shield.

'...This is weird. This is very weird.'

"It is." TBOAH! Pen agreed. 

Cale recalled something he had read in the ancient book.

< Right before going to save the world from darkness, he left all of his belongings, as well as the belongings of his friends, in his hometown. >

The other three got closer to Cale. Eruhaben was looking at Cale like he was looking at an interesting creature, while Raon shouted with anxiety.

"Wow, the difference in attitude." Rok Soo whistled. 

"Human, what is going on? What's wrong? Did your ancient powers break?"

"Ancient powers can't break, little dragon." Jour said with a motherly tone.

"Okay, Human's mother!" Raon nod.

Cale slowly started to speak.

"...I'm getting a feel for where it is."

It was an Eureka moment!

"You're like an ancient power detector." Jung Soo jokingly said, not knowing that many agreed. 

Cale quickly started to walk. He looked toward Eruhaben and started to speak.

"Let's go."

"I will take the lead."

Eruhaben, who had been observing Cale with an interested expression, started to walk in front of Cale. Eruhaben had already told the monster to get lost.

"Without even a single thank you." Mila said in amusement.

"Why must I?" Eruhaben asked with a raised brow. 

"Yeah, Dragon-nim doesn't need to thank anyone." both versions of Kora said as both versions of Shawn agreed.

"Follow me."

Cale nodded his head at Eruhaben's command and headed toward the center of the Forest of Darkness.

Eruhaben was moving quickly while Cale was using the Sound of the Wind to keep up.

Raon used haste magic on Hilsman so that Hilsman could keep up with them.

"They are very fast." TCF! Mary said while wondering if she can do the same or at least ask the little dragon to cast magic on her so she can experience it.

Cale was telling Eruhaben where to go.

"Let's turn to the left."

Boom. Boom.

The ancient powers in his body, as well as the ground under his feet, were telling him where to go. It was impossible to explain this with words.

"To the Northwest."

"Now to the Northeast."

Cale finally stopped after a while.

They were near the Northern boundary of the inner region.

The TBOAH! characters made a note on where the power was, wondering if it would help them from the war.

Cale could see a boulder at this location.

It was just a large boulder that was about three times as tall as Cale.

It looked just like your average boulder that could be found anywhere in the Henituse territory.

"Is it here?"

Eruhaben looked toward Cale and asked. However, he did not need to hear Cale's answer.

"I guess it is."

Cale was smiling.

'They're running wild.'

The four ancient powers inside Cale's body were running wild.

"We were excited." the four of them said in unison with cheeky smiles.

'...Seriously?'

Were the Super Rock's friends really the owners of the ancient powers he had gained until now?

"The one and only." Super Rock agreed.

Cale slowly started to smile again.

It was at that moment.

Crackle-

The fire that was floating on top of Cale's right palm started to fly toward the boulder.

"Really, the first thing you do when you met each other again is fight." the shield said with a sigh as the fire had the audacity to look guilty.

The boulder and the fire made contact with each other.

Ruuuuumble.

The boulder started to shake as soon as the two made contact.

Cale could feel the rumbling underneath his feet.

The boulder started to crack on its own.

At that moment, a foreign voice started to speak in Cale's mind. It was a profound voice that seemed to belong to a righteous person.

Some winced at the sound of the voice, not expecting it.

'I came to the right spot.'

Cale was feeling extremely giddy.

"You look like a kid who received his favorite gift." TBOAH! Valentino said with a soft look, feeling like he had a younger brother for a moment. 

- My friend of fire, you have finally arrived. My eternal enemy and friend, I- mm?

The profound voice became nervous.

"Pfft." the fire laughed.

- Huh?

The voice seemed extremely confused as well.

- ...What is going on?

The profound voice, the owner of the 'Scary Giant Cobblestone,' started to speak in a nervous voice.

- Why is the cheapskate with the thief, the crybaby, and even the glutton-

"Because he is our new owner." the shield said, pretending that the super rock didn't know now.

The cheapskate was the Fire of Destruction.

The thief was the Sound of the Wind.

The crybaby was the Vitality of the Heart.

The glutton must be the Indestructible Shield.

- Who are you?

Cale started to speak.

"My name is Cale Henituse."

"You're not!" TBOAH! Cale denied. "You're the god of misunderstanding."

"god of unluckiness or god of meddling works too." Rok Soo added before dodging the apple pie that was about to hit him.
