•Love, Lies & Redemption•
Ibadat's face paled, her voice trembling. "Subhaan, I...I think I'm pregnant." Subhaan's eyes widened in shock, his mind racing. "How...how is this possible? We never...I don't remember..."
Ibadat's gaze dropped, her voice barely audible. "That night...after returning from Dargah...you were drunk...we...we got intimate." Subhaan's expression changed from shock to horror. "Oh God, Ibadat...I'm sorry. I don't remember anything."
Ibadat's tears fell. ".I know you didn't consent. And now...now I'm pregnant." Subhaan's face contorted in anguish. "This can't be happening. I was so drunk...I didn't even remember coming home. How could I be so reckless?"
Dua's calm voice intervened. "Subhaan, Ibadat, let's focus on the present. This child is a blessing. We'll support each other through this."
Kainaat's voice laced with venom. "This is Ghazal's curse. This child will ruin our family." Mannat's expression reflected her concern. "Ibadat, are you sure? Have you confirmed the pregnancy?" Ibadat nodded, her voice firm.
"Yes, Mannat. I've taken three tests. And I've decided...I'm keeping this child."
Subhaan's shock slowly gave way to a warm smile. AND FINALLY "I'm going to be a father?" he asked, his voice filled with excitement.
Ibadat nodded, tears of joy streaming down her face. "Yes, Subhaan. We're having a baby."Subhaan's face lit up with happiness as he pulled Ibadat into a tight hug
. "This is amazing news! I'm so happy."Dua's eyes shone with tears. "Mashallah, this is a blessing. Congratulations, Subhaan and Ibadat."
Mannat smiled, relief washing over her face. "Congratulations, This child will bring joy to our family."Kainaat's face turned red with rage. "This is a disaster! You're not even properly married, and now there's a child involved?"
Subhaan's gaze locked onto Kainaat, his voice firm. "Ammi, we're remarrying as soon as possible. Legally, with all rituals. Ibadat will be my wife, and our child will be legitimate." Kainaat's face contorted in outrage.
"You're betraying our family's honor for Ghazal's daughter! She's manipulated you, Subhaan." Ibadat stood tall, her voice calm. "Ammi, I swear on my child's life, I love Subhaan, and I'd never trick him. We got intimate after returning from Dargah, when Subhaan was under the influence. I know it wasn't planned, but this child is a blessing." Subhaan's arm wrapped around Ibadat, protective.
"Ammi, enough. Ibadat is my choice, and our child is our blessing. We'll do what's right for them." Dua intervened, her voice soothing.
"Kainaat, consider the child's future. Subhaan and Ibadat's love will provide a stable home." Mannat added, "And think of the child's well-being. We should support Subhaan and Ibadat."
Kainaat's anger slowly gave way to calculation. "Fine. Marry her, Subhaan. But know this: our family's reputation will suffer."
Subhaan's face set in determination. "Ammi, I'll protect Ibadat and our child. We'll prove our love is stronger than any obstacle."
.........
The sun had just begun to set, casting a warm golden glow over the beautifully decorated wedding hall. The air was filled with the sweet scent of roses and jasmine, and the soft hum of Quranic recitations.
Subhaan, dashing in his white sherwani, stood at the entrance, his eyes shining with anticipation. His brother Sufi and His best friend, Fahad, stood beside him, beaming with joy.
Ibadat, resplendent in her intricate white lehenga, her hair adorned with delicate flowers, walked in with Dua and Mannat. Her eyes sparkled with happiness as she approached Subhaan.
The Kazi Sahib, a wise and kind-faced imam, greeted the couple with a warm smile. He began the Nikah ceremony, reciting verses from the Quran and explaining the sacred institution of marriage.
Subhaan and Ibadat sat together, their hands clasped, as the Kazi Sahib asked: "Ibadat Haider Akhtar, wald Marhoom Haider Akhtar, kya aapko Subhaan Siddique, wald Hafeez Siddique, qubool hai?"
Ibadat's voice rang clear: "Qubool hai."
The Kazi Sahib then turned to Subhaan: " Subhaan Siddique, wald Hafeez Siddique, kya aapko Ibadat Haider Akhtar, wald Marhoom Haider Akhtar, qubool hai?" Subhaan's response was firm: "Qubool hai."
The Kazi Sahib pronounced them husband and wife, and the room erupted in cheers and blessings. Subhaan and Ibadat exchanged rings, sealing their union.
As they signed the Nikahnama, their hands touched, sending shivers down their spines. They shared a tender glance, their hearts overflowing with love.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt dua: "Rabb se hai dua ki hum hamesha saath rahe, Kabhi juda na ho, kabhi door na ho."
("My Lord, I pray that we remain together always, Never separated, never apart.")
As the newlyweds stood up, the room filled with applause and congratulations. Subhaan and Ibadat's families and friends gathered around, showering them with love and blessings.
Dua's eyes shone with tears as she gazed upwards, her voice filled with emotion."Are you seeing Haider? Our daughter is so happy. Evil eyes off from her."Mannat placed a comforting hand on Dua's shoulder.
"Abbu is watching over Ibadat, ammi. He's smiling at their happiness."Dua's face reflected her deep faith."I know, Mannat. I feel his presence. He's guiding Ibadat and Subhaan."
Subhaan and Ibadat approached, hand in hand, their faces radiant with joy."Ammi, we're grateful for your blessings," Ibadat said, embracing Dua.
Dua's arms enveloped her daughter, her heart overflowing."My child, you deserve every happiness. May Allah protect and guide you both."
Subhaan's eyes met Dua's, filled with gratitude."Thank you, Ammi. We'll make you proud."As they hugged, a gentle breeze rustled the leaves, The sky above seemed to brighten, as if Haider's loving gaze shone down on his beloved family.

Kainaat watched Subhaan and Ibadat interact, their love and laughter filling the room. She saw how Subhaan's eyes sparkled when Ibadat smiled, how his face lit up with excitement when talking about their future. The way he looked at Ibadat, with adoration and reverence, touched Kainaat's heart.
As she observed them, Kainaat's initial reservations began to fade. She saw how Ibadat brought out the best in Subhaan, encouraging his passions and supporting his dreams. Ibadat's kindness, compassion, and intelligence shone through, and Kainaat couldn't help but be drawn to her.
One evening, as they sat together, Subhaan shared his vision for their future home. Ibadat's eyes sparkled, and Subhaan's face radiated happiness. Kainaat watched, mesmerized, as they laughed and planned together.
Subhaan's joy was infectious, and Kainaat found herself smiling. For the first time, she felt a sense of peace, knowing Subhaan had found someone who loved him unconditionally. As the days passed, Kainaat noticed subtle changes in Subhaan.
His eyes seemed brighter, his smile more genuine. He laughed more often, and his voice carried a newfound warmth. Ibadat's influence was transforming Subhaan, and Kainaat couldn't deny the positive impact.
She began to see Ibadat as an individual, rather than just Ghazal's replacement. One morning, Kainaat entered the kitchen to find Ibadat cooking breakfast. Subhaan sat beside her, chatting and chopping vegetables. Kainaat's heart swelled as she watched them work together, their movements fluid and harmonious,
Subhaan's eyes met Kainaat's, gratitude shining in them. "Ammi, you're seeing it, aren't you? How happy Ibadat makes me?" Kainaat nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "Yes, beta. I see."
Subhaan's face lit up with relief, and he walked over to Kainaat, enveloping her in a warm hug. "Thank you, Ammi. That means everything to me." I
badat's eyes welled up with tears as she watched the tender moment between Subhaan and Kainaat. "Ammi, I'm so grateful for your acceptance," Ibadat said, her voice trembling. Kainaat's expression softened, and she opened her arms to Ibadat.
"Come here, beta. You're family now." Ibadat stepped into Kainaat's embrace, feeling a deep sense of belonging. As they hugged, Subhaan smiled, his heart full. "This is what I've always wanted, Ammi – our family united."
Kainaat's voice whispered in Ibadat's ear. "I love you, beta. Like a daughter." Tears of joy streamed down Ibadat's face. "I love you too, Ammi." Subhaan's arms wrapped around both women, holding them close.
"My two favorite people in the world." In that moment, Kainaat realized her acceptance wasn't just about Subhaan's happiness but also about embracing Ibadat as her own.
Kainaat's voice cracked as she spoke, her eyes brimming with tears. "I'm sorry, Ibadat, for everything. I was blind with hate, hate for Ghazal because of whom I lost my brother Haider." Ibadat's expression softened, compassion filling her eyes. "Ammi, you don't have to apologize. I understand. You were grieving, and I wasn't Ghazal."
Kainaat's face contorted in anguish. "But I took it out on you, and that's unforgivable. I see now that you're not a replacement for Ghazal, but a beautiful soul who loves Subhaan." Subhaan's arms wrapped around Kainaat, holding her close. "Ammi, we've all been through so much. Let's heal together."
Ibadat stepped forward, embracing Kainaat. "phupi, I forgive you. We're family now." Kainaat's tears flowed freely as she held Ibadat tight. "Forgive me, Haider," she whispered, her voice barely audible. As they hugged, the weight of Kainaat's guilt and grief began to lift. For the first time, she saw a future where love and forgiveness triumphed over hate. Subhaan smiled, relief washing over him. "Ammi, you're free now."
.............
"Kainaat, I'm glad that you accepted Subhaan and Ibadat's relationship and Ibadat as well," Dua said, her eyes shining with warmth. Kainaat's face glowed with a gentle smile. "Dua, your guidance helped me see the truth. Ibadat brings happiness to Subhaan, and that's all that matters."
Dua's hands clasped Kainaat's. "Acceptance is the first step to healing. Now, let's focus on Subhaan and Ibadat's future together." Ibadat entered, carrying a tray of steaming tea and sweets.
"Ammi, phupi, I brought your favorite snacks." Kainaat's eyes welled up with tears as she hugged Ibadat. "Beta, you've brought so much joy to our lives."
Subhaan walked in, beaming. "Ammi, I'm grateful for your acceptance. You've made me incredibly happy." Dua smiled. "Allah's blessings are upon you all. Cherish this newfound happiness." As they shared tea and laughter, Kainaat realized that acceptance had brought her family full circle.
