I looked at the man. Fear filled my eyes. “You… you’re the one I saw when.”

            “When you were scared.” He finished. I heard jack call my name. “Don’t believe him Summer. Whatever they say remember your mother died because of them.” He disappeared again as Jack cam towards me.

            “Hey Summer you look like you saw a ghost.” He said with a laugh.

“I think I did.” I said stunned. I know I had seen that man before. He haunted my everyday life. “Come on lets go have some fun.” I said flying off, I was too distracted on what he had said about my mother.

“Sum... hey Sum.” Jack said interrupting my thoughts. “Hey you ok?”

I nodded nervously. “I…I think so.” I stammered. He nodded and I attempted to keep a smile. ‘Who was hat person?’ I thought as I flew into the air followed by Jack. I flew faster as to race him. He laughed and sped past me but I was too distracted and flew straight into a flock of geese. They honked angrily at me as I got away from them. I fell and landed in Jacks arms.

“Ok now I know something’s up.” He said. I shrugged.

“It’s nothing Frost.” I said with a mutter. He flew me back to my room where Bunny sat.

“Frost its him.” He said. Jack glared at the rabbit. “No I’m not kidding we need you and Summer.”

I looked off realizing who they meant. That man in the woods was LITERALLY my worst nightmare. He was Pitch Black the Nightmare king (or bogyman) and he knew my worst fear. The fear of hurting the people who meant most to me. And that means not just the children were in danger but also Jack and the other guardians.

“NO NO NO!” I stammered running out of the room to the globe realizing that there were less lights than normal. ‘They made your mother be killed.’ The phrase echoed into my head. “I might be next.” I muttered then flew off to try to get answers from Pitch.
