I lay back in the bed that I guess my mother first stayed in when she first came here. Apparently she was much nicer than me at first to Jack, Sandy, North, Tooth, and Bunny. I smiled at the room. It was a yellow orange with a sun shaped bed and a small window facing where the sun first shone in the sky.

            “My room!” I cheered with a smile laying back into the bright red and cream colored blankets that faintly smelled of the ocean and the last time I remembered my mother. A tear came to my eye and Jack opened the door. I jumped startled. “Oh it’s just you. Don’t you know how to knock?” I teased him. He smirked at me.

            “Just wanted to know if you wanted to go see your town again,” He said with a shrug. I nodded. This was year 2 of living here and just now I was getting the hang of flying. I nodded and opened up the window. It was a drop down to what normally would be death… that is if you couldn’t fly.

            “Meet you out there frost.” I called jumping down and floating into the sky. The cold air nipped at my nose but I smiled anyway. Jack followed me and we laughed all the way to Cleo’s house. I peeked into the window and saw Cleo who had pictures of us hanging up all over her walls. She had her window open even though it was winter time.

            “Summer.” She sighed staring into the sky with a sigh. “If only you were with us still.” I reached out wishing I could touch her face again.

            “I miss you to.” I whispered and making sun come through the window and shined on her one picture we took last with both of us smiling next to author Eoin Colfer. It shined in the shape of a heart and she looked and smiled. Jack placed a hand on my shoulder. Come on I think there’s someone else who you might want to meet.” He said. A boy who looked to be about age 18. He smiled and waved to jack.

“Hi Jami.” He said. He pointed to me.

            “Who’s your friend?” He teased. “Do you have a girlfriend I should know about?” I held back a laugh but could not help but smile.

            “Jami.” Jack said holding up a snowball. Jamie held one to. “Oh you’re on.” I laughed but one hit me and began to melt on my face.I laughed but something was calling me into the dark woods that sat behind Jami’s house.

“ummm jack I’ll be back.” I said staring back. Other kids joined in the snowball fight as I walked into the woods. My hair glowed a little as I held the knife in my hand. I heard a laugh and I called out. “Who’s there” there was a dark laugh as a man with pale skin and raven black hair came out. A few dark horses followed him.

            “Your worst nightmare.” He responded.
