What Daddy Misses
I walked inside and saw her.
She was laying with the love of my life.
She had her Teddy Bear and was asleep.
I can't see it though.
I'm an army man.
I can't watch her.
I'm an army man.
I got home today.
She was playing violin.
She tells me I'm a natural.
She says she would pay to watch my concerts.
When I can't even get the notes right.
But I can't do any of those.
Because I'm an army man.
She had a concert today.
She smiled at me from the stage.
She has a solo.
I'm an army man.
She got into a fight today with her mom.
She went to her room and started to cry,
but where was I?
She has the flu,
She's by herself,
No one's home,
But where was I?
Oh that's right,
I'm an army man.
I won't be there.
Ok so I made this because it is a sad yet true poem of my life and well, many other people's lives. They have to deal with their loved ones being gone for several months, or a year. It's hard, when your mom or dad isn't there to see you grow up. They miss out on things that you want them there for. This was in my dad's POV for things that he has missed. I will most likely make more of these.
Ass hat out
