Makigumo's POV

The morning announcement played it was annoying as ever. I was going to get ready only to feel Yumeno's arms wrap around me. I laid back down beside her and took in the beauty of her presence. Her hair was a mess from leaving it up while she slept, her face was slightly red from the warmth. Her eyes were still red and puffy from yesterday and her eyes had bags under them for most of the week. It seems like last night was the first night she has slept in months. Regardless she still looks like a perfect angel from heaven. I finger-combed her hair smiling to myself.

"Perfect."

Yumeno started to shuffle around about 30 minutes after the morning announcement. She was so cute I couldn't even try to suppress the huge smile that was creeping onto my face.

"What?" She asked using her elbows to look around the room. When her eyes met mine her face went super red. It was so cute! 

"Makigumo-san I-I-I W-what a-a-are you d-doing h-here?!" She asked studdering and letting her bangs fall in her face.

"Can I not cuddle up with my beloved Yumeno-chan just because I want to," I said moving her bangs away from her eyes and winking at her. 

"I." She paused.

"I'm sorry for the trouble I caused you yesterday. I should have not provoked you..." She said sounding defeated. I frowned.

"It wasn't your fault if anything I provoked you first," I said with a concerned look on my face.

"Yeah, you make it so hard for me to stay away from you." She said whispering in my ear. I felt my face get hot as she giggles.

"H-how do you do that?" I asked baffled by how she can go from hella confident to anxious in like two seconds.

"Do what?" She asked with innocent eyes.

"How the hell can you be so confident then hella flustered the next second..." I asked trying to not sound as jealous as I was.

"Is someone jealous?" She said inches away from my face.

"No, I'm just wondering how you can always seem to make me flustered when I don't get flustered easily,"  I said making our noses touch.

"Well, I just feel safe around you." She said before kissing my nose, cheeks, and forehead. All I could do is blush, but I kept my composure. 

No One's POV

Makigumo pushed Yumeno hard onto the bed her face immediately going bright red.

"Who's the confident one now." She leaned down to kiss her, but Yumeno's hands shot up and covered her lips. She looked away from Makigumo's face burning from the sudden courage Makigumo had. 

"W-what?!" Yumeno said her paranoid anxious persona coming back. Makigumo looked at her and gently took Yumeno's hand off her mouth. 

"Hey, I didn't mean to scare you," Makigumo said voice serious. Yumeno was speechless all she could do is look anywhere but where Makigumo was.

"Look at me please." Yumeno hesitantly looked at her. Makigumo leaned down and hugged her. Yumeno gasped lightly but hesitantly hugged her back. 

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that..." Makigumo mumbled into Yumeno's neck. Yumeno regained her composure and she pinned Makigumo to the bed.

"It's alright I just sometimes like to be in control," Yumeno said kissing Makigumo passionately. Makigumo quickly got over her shock and kissed her back. Yumeno takes the lead and moves her lips and Makigumo just follows her movements. Yumeno loved the sweet taste of her lips. They were sweet probably from Sora eating candy and drinking soda all the time. They broke apart breathless.

"I didn't know that's what you wanted... You could've just asked." Yumeno got flustered again and buried her head in Makigumo's chest. Makigumo stayed silent and stroked Yumeno's hair.

"You wanna know something, you-" Makigumo was interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Hey, Yumeno-san we can't find Makigumo-san I'm worried she's up to something," Yuuki said outside of her room. Makigumo smirked and Yumeno sighed.

"I'm sure she's fine."

"Hey, Yumeno-san if that scum ever touches you again let me know. I'll give her a piece of my mind!" Mukato shouted from behind the door. Makigumo was suppressing a laugh as Yumeno rolled her eyes and got up to answer the door. She opened the door and poked her head out.

"Hey, Mukato-san and Yuuki-san I'll meet you in the cafeteria after I get dressed k." She said before getting a few nods. She closed the door and got dressed. 

"You haven't even asked me out yet!" Makigumo yelled and covered her eyes in a joking manner.

"It's not like you haven't seen someone get dressed before." Yumeno sighed sliding her shirt on before putting on her jacket.

"I have your not wrong there, but it has never been someone as pretty and perfect as you are..." Makigumo said saying the last part under her breath. Yumeno just nodded and did her hair putting on her hat and mask before she opened the door. She looked around to see if anyone was in the dormitory when she saw nobody was around she walked out and motioned for Sora to follow. 

Yumeno POV

"Aww, I didn't realize Yumeno-chan is too embarrassed to be seen with me!" Makigumo said behind me making me immediately snap I immediately pulled down my mask and grabbed the collar of her shirt pulling her down to my level. She looked surprised, but I was too angry to notice. 

"You should know as well as me that Mukato-san will have your ass if he sees you with me. I'm doing this for your safety." I said huffing.

"You're so cute thinking about little old me's safety!" She said stroking my cheek.

"Of course I would you mean a lot to me..." I said under my breath but to the look on Makigumo's face told me that she heard. My face went bright red.

"Anyway It's been charming being able to spend so much time with my little Emo Poet, but I have to go get changed and ready for the day. It pains me to have to leave you-" 

"Stop!" I cut her off by putting my hands on her mouth. She smiled backing away from me going towards her room.

"You know that was just a lie, most of it anyway." She said before entering her room and closing the door.

".  .  ." I stayed silent feeling a warmth in my heart.

This girl is going to be the death of me.
