Yuuki's POV

I was full of worry and concern as Makigumo-chan held on to my hand with a death grip while we were running against the clock to try and save Yumeno-chan from herself. The silence was so loud as we sprinted down the hallway to the dorm rooms.

Makigumo stopped suddenly dropping my hand when we turned the corner to the dorms. 

"Makigumo-chan-" I was cut off by her digging in her pocket for her lock picking tools. She whipped them out in a flash and ran over to the door and picked the door open while tears were coming out of her eyes and sobs were erupting from her throat.

She yanked the door open and abruptly went into the room.

"Yumeno-chan!" She screamed. I have never seen this side of Makigumo. She is always joking about everything and never seems to take anything seriously. Maybe Yumeno affects her to make her act this way. Maybe this newfound relationship won't be so bad...

Makigumo's POV

I ran into Yumeno's room vision blurry from tears and suffocating from my sobs. 

"Yumeno-chan!!" I screamed once more. It was a plea, a small cry hoping for her to respond. Hoping that she is still breathing. Yuuki stayed in the hallway she seemed confused... But who cares about that now Yumeno-chan could be dead or trying to kill herself at this very moment. Looking in the spot I found her in the last time I was in this situation, only to find a pillow with tear stains on it. 

'Please, please God let her be ok...' I pleaded silently looking under the bed. I saw a note I did not recognize. I pulled it out from under the bed and looked at the words on the page. The handwriting was not Yumeno's handwriting... All it said was,

D34TH IS S0M3TH1NG Y0U B3C0M3

I couldn't think why this would be under her bed. It was random, this is unlike Yumeno-chan to just leave a sentence of words underneath her bed.

"Makigumo-chan I saw Yumeno-chan walk out the door to the courtyard!" Yuuki yelled putting her hand on my shoulder.

"Well let's stop wasting time and go and find her!" I yelled voice almost scarce from all the sobbing and screaming.

She started running towards the courtyard and I followed closely behind her. When we got out of the main building we saw Yumeno talking to Akuma. We couldn't make out what they were saying so we ran up to them. I got to them first being fueled by adrenaline.

"Yumeno-chan!" I yelled with my hoarse voice getting her attention. She turned around confused and seemed to be deep in thought before she looked scared and started running again.

"Yumeno-chan?!" I called after her only to be met with no reply.

I was running after her again anxiety spiking.

What did she want with Akuma-chan?

Is she doing something together with Akuma-chan?

I clenched my fist at the thought of them doing something together.

I'm going to get to the bottom of this Yumeno-chan...

I ran down 4 hallways making sure to stay right on her tail even though my lungs were burning at this point. Yumeno started to slow down giving me the chance to grab her jacket. I pulled her back towards me and held her firmly in my arms. She tried to squirm away from me by my hold on her was too strong. 

"Yumeno-chan, please tell me what's going on!" I said not even trying to hold back all the emotions bottled up inside me anymore. I sobbed into her hair holding her head into my chest and holding her hip so she couldn't leave my grasp.

"Makigumo-san?" She asked confused, her voice was trembling and she was shaking violently in my arms. I tried to comfort her as best as I could rubbing her back up and down but to no avail. Then I remembered what happened earlier and put my hand in her hair and on her neck and caressed the skin under my palms.

She froze instantly which is what I expected her shanking stopped and I could feel tears coming on my shirt. She exhaled a shaky breath before speaking again.

"Makigumo-san I was trying to find out who was getting what disease so I could warn them. And I was worried you would try and stop me and that's why I ran. I'm sorry for worrying you over something as unimportant as me." She said more tears soaking my shirt.

"Yumeno-chan..." I started trying to tell her she was wrong only to be cut off by her speaking again.

"You don't have to say anything to try and make me feel better Makigumo-san. I'm sorry for disappointing you. I can leave if that's what you want..." She said staying in place from my hand being on her sensitive skin. 

I pulled her into a hug.

"Yumeno-chan I would never get mad at you for something like that... I would have asked to help you if anything. I was so worried you were trying to kill yourself to give Shi Tenshi what she wants. Please, Yumeno-chan don't make me worry like that about you... I care about you too much..." I said earning a confused gasp from Yumeno.

"Makigumo-san? I'm sorry for worrying you I have never had someone who has cared about me in this way and I didn't realize something like this would make Makigumo-san so worried and scared... I hope you can forgive me..." She said quietly into my chest.

"Please take better care of yourself and let me know before you do anything like this... We're in this together... Until the end..." I said in a whisper. She nodded indicating that she heard me and was going to try to be better at being more open with me.

"Thank you for caring Makigumo-san." She said placing her hands on my back.

"Anytime Yumeno-chan,"

Yuuki's POV

"Akuma-san, what were you talking to Yumeno-chan about?" I said trying to suppress the fear I was feeling.

"Oh, you must be worried about Yumeno-san. Seeing as Makigumo-chan ran after her I'm assuming that you both are worried and want some answers. Am I correct?" Akuma said with the same formal tone she always has.

"Yeah, I was wondering what Yumeno-chan told you," I asked surprised that she knew all of that just from looking at me.

"Well, she came here to see if I knew anything about the diseases being given to students. She seemed very desperate to know and was out of breath when she was talking to me. I'm assuming she ran here after hearing the announcement and wanted to make sure that she could stop the disease or at least warn the victims before-hand." She paused reading my expression.

"And with the expression on your face, you want to know if I know anything about the disease."

"I would be glad to tell you. I heard from Shi Dani that Yumeno-san, Emu-san, and Kiroko-san are all going to be victims of the despair disease." She said looking at me.

"And since it's you Yuuki-san then I can also tell you this, Emu-san is going to be victim to madness disease and Kiroko-san is going to be victim to the truthful disease. Sadly I have no idea in the slightest of what disease Yumeno-Chan is going to be subjected to. I apologize for my lack of knowledge Yuuki-san." She said with a bow.

"Thanks, Akuma-san this is helpful no need to apologize," I said waving to her as I ran off to find Makigumo-chan to tell her the new information.
