Yuuki's POV

"I can not believe that out of anyone here she chose Makigumo-chan to be together with..." Mukato said after Makigumo and Yumeno left the cafeteria to me while he was on the floor shocked by the events that just went down.

"Yeah, it makes you wonder how it even happened," I said still baffled from the idea of Makigumo and Yumeno together. How does someone as anxious and antisocial as Yumeno get together with someone like Makigumo who teases everyone and says any snarky comment she can at any given time. Yumeno's always so reserved she doesn't like to be around people she doesn't consider friends to her. This is too strange for me to get my bearings. I sighed and helped Mukato off the ground.

"Hey, where do you think she took that thing..." He said with a scowl the fact that Makigumo and Yumeno were together must have not been settling with him well. I sighed. Even though this is weird and out of sorts I should try to support her as best as I can as her friend I want to give her the support she needs from me.

"Do you want to go look for her?" I asked trying to calm him down so he wouldn't go and yell at everyone he sees.

"Yes, that would make me be able to understand the situation better." He said anger on every inch of his face. 

"Ok, where should we go first."

We walked out by the tree at the front of the school she loved to read in the shade of the tree to try and calm her nerves. She was out here a lot right after Ichi's death and Momoto's execution. All we found there was an empty field of grass with Akuma sitting in a meditation position in front of a bench with some pictures on it. Her eyes were closed and we didn't want to interrupt her so we moved on. We then went to the library cause duh she loves reading so why would she not love the library. Again we were met with a room without Akira in it. Kiroko was on the couch reading a book on paranormal stuff like usual... Mukato and I walked over to him.

"Hey Kiroko-kun we are looking for Yumeno-san and we were wondering if she ever crossed your path in the last hour," Mukato asked in his loud voice. It's good that he's finally back to normal. 

"Oh, Yumeno-san has gone missing. Interesting... I saw her dragging Makigumo-chan down the east hallway towards the dorms." He said putting his book down and looking at Mukato with an entertained expression.

"Thank you Kiroko-kun," Mukato said before turning around and walking with me to the door.

"Have fun looking for Yumeno-san..." He said with a dark tone of voice. I shuddered it's normal of him to act like this but it still makes me uncomfortable.

We made it to the dorms and walked to her room which happened to be conveniently right under Makigumo's room. I knocked on her door.

"Yumeno-san?" Mukato asked only to be met with silence.

"Yumeno-san are you in there?" I asked with more knocks. silence... 

"Shit they disappeared," I said facepalming with a groan. 

"They have to be here somewhere," Mukato said looking around before he stopped staring down the hall. He looked at me and I think we were thinking the same thing. 

"Her ultimate lab!" We said together before we ran to her lab.

We got there in about 8 minutes it would have been around 15 if we walked because the school was pretty fucking huge. 

"Yumeno-san!" Mukato yelled in his bold voice. It was getting close to lunchtime so worst-case scenario they both don't show up at lunch and Mukato freaks out to the point he is thinking of killing Makigumo for kidnapping Yumeno.

I sighed this was going to be a long day...

Yumeno's POV

Makigumo was sitting on the couch beside me while I leaned on her shoulder. I was still exhausted even though I got a full night's sleep for the first time in forever and a nap this was unusual because I have never gotten so much sleep before. Well, it was until I was around Makigumo... I just feel so safe with her around and being as exhausted as I am it's not that hard to fall asleep when she's holding me in her arms.

"Do you think they will find us?" She asked in a joking tone.

"No, they would never check here because I never come here..." We were interrupted by a knock on the door before hearing Mukato's loud voice.

"Yumeno-san?" I was shocked they never came to my lab before when they were trying to find me... Why is today any different? 

"They would never check here she says..." Makigumo said in a joking tone. Makigumo must have noticed the look of shock on my face because she looked at me with her classic smirk on her face.

"Yumeno-san are you in there?" It was Yuuki who spoke this time. They both came here together usually it was just Yuuki because Anashi wanted to stay back to watch if Makigumo was doing anything... Of course, he would come because Makigumo's with me. I groaned before walking over and opening the door. 

"Hey, Mukato-san and Yuuki-san." I started looking for the words to say.

"What do you guys want with the beautiful Yumeno-chan," Makigumo said from behind me in a defensive tone. I knew it was fake cause I saw a grin on her face shortly after. 

"I was making sure Yumeno-san was safe being in the presence of a lying bag of shit," Mukato said spitting out the last word while he clenched his teeth. Yuuki put her arm out to prevent Mukato from busting through the door and choking Makigumo again... Yuuki then stepped in front of Mukato before speaking.

"I don't know exactly how this happened, but we will try to be supportive as your friends." She said glaring at Mukato.

"Yeah sorry Yumeno-san, but this is going to take me a while to get used to," Mukato said before leaving in a huff. Yuuki sighed as she watched him leave before turning her attention back to Makigumo and Yumeno.

"So what exactly is going on between you two?" Yuuki asked still trying to suppress the urge to glare at Makigumo.

'This is going to take me a while to get used to. I have no clue what Yumeno-san sees in her.' Yuuki thought to give her a moment to wait for an answer.

"Well..." Yumeno started.
