It happened a few moments ago and he still couldn't believe it.
His thoughts moved very fast. Most of them were leaving his head faster than light fades, when you turn it off.

Only one sentence stayed on Geoff's mind for a really long time.
"Bad situations follow you" he could almost hear.

One or two years ago, nobody would believe these words.
Amazing musician, who had everything. A lot of friends, gorgeous fiancé and supportive fans. Everything.

Was he lucky? Not anymore.
One day before a Christmas Eve, he picked up the phone. The man, who called him said two things. The first one set his world on fire. The second made him realize, that everything was only his fault.

The sound of opening door was the last thing he expected that day. It took him back to the real life. For Geoff it looked like a nightmare trying to prove that it's become his reality. His new, burning world.

The whole room was really dark. He could barely see anything, but a tall guy with purple hair was impossible not to recognize.
Awsten came closer to his friend. He did if as quiet as possible. He didn't want to wake Heather up. He knew that this girl needed to rest after everything what happened to her.

Aws sat on the bed, next to the second man. When he looked at his friend's face, he always payed the most attention to eyes. It was the only place, where he could see every single thing he felt.

This time he saw the tears. They were friends for almost ten years. Awsten could see the broken glass in his eyes and he would know that this is exactly how much it hurts.

- Just stop thinking about it. Try to rest, I promise you that everything will be okay... - the younger boy tried to explain.

His voice was shaking, while he  desperately tried to hold back the tears.

- Awsten. We know each other for so lond and you've never lied to me. Now, when my world is shattering... Please, keep telling the truth. You're not blind. And i'm not blind too. So don't lie to me about the perfect life anymore.

He was right. Awsten knew it, and before he left the room, he felt like he needs to hug Geoff just for a moment. He did it really quickly, but this small thing meant the world to him. Knight wanted to show his friend, that whatever happens, he will be there for him.

Aws stood up and came back to the door. The was the last thing he saw Heather. She was sleeping, but it was obvious, that every breath she took was painful and hard for her.

Heterochromic boy couldn't understand, why Geoff wants to sit next to her. He didn't even think about the fact, that his blue-eyed friend needed a lot of light in his life. And even though the brightest faded out, he still wanted to hold the smaller one as close as possible.
