Roman looked at the snake like advisor who was currently sitting in his lap, one hand was reached up to run through the kings hair

"How-" was the only word that came out janus' mouth

"How what?" Roman responded with a small chuckle as janus kept playing with his hair.

"How do you get your hair ssso nice- minesss iss alwayss messy"
He hissed and huffed quietly as roman chuckled more.

"It's easy really- shampoo, conditioner and a lot of hair products" he smiled booping the advisors nose.

Janus blushed and hid his face, the two had always been close really, Janus appeared in Romans life when they were both about nine years old and had been in the same castle since then. Now roman was king janus was now a kings advisor instead of a princes advisor.

Flashhback- ( HotterTrash I'm trying to put a bit more depth to the story so if it doesn't make sense I'm sowwy QwQ)

"Prince roman I advisse you do not do that!" The young princes advisor shouted up to him
"Oh nonsense janus I shall be fine! It's just a measly tree!" The boy shouted down, swinging from a tree branch "I am mearly watching out for the dragon witch-" janus stared at the prince with a look that said 'really' "ok ok! Maybe I'm looking out for remus" roman groaned. "Pleassse sire! Come down!" The young snake boy whined, concerned for the prince. "Alright alright I shall come down" roman chuckled and climbed down, hugging his advisor who was shaking with concern "it's alright jany I'm fine now let's go, mother said we could have tea in my room with the pillow fort!" Roman cheered and ran while janus caught up to him------ flashback end~
