Rail pulled his bloody shirt over his head. He never broke his stare as he climbed on top of me and lifted my chin to kiss him. His warm hands traveled down to the waist of my jeans and tugged down on them as he planted burning kisses along my neck.

"Take her dress off already."

Instantly, my hands pushed forward. Rail flew about 50ft in the other direction, crashing into the wall. Dust clouded the air around him. He let out a grunt as he tried to sit up.

"You could've just said stop." Rubbing his neck, he blinked several times as if to regain his sight.

What the hell, I thought. Wrapping my arms around myself, I stood up and looked around the room. It was only Rail and I.

"I-I'm sorry."

"There's nothing to be sorry about, love." Rail walked toward me.

"Shut her up! Hold her down." The black figures saunters towards me with a nasty look in his eyes.

I shut my eyes, willing the flashes of lost memories away. Their voices alone in my head made my skin to crawl. I backed away from Rail.

"Aderes?" Rail stood in front of me and looked down at me. "What's wrong?" His fingers brushed a strand of white hair behind my ear. I jumped at his touch causing me to trip. I looked at my arms cover in splatters of blood and cuts.

A cold hand grabs my arm. I try to pull away from him which only causes him to dig his nails into my skin. White light streams out and I scream at the flood of pain.

I tug at my hair. "What's happening?" I breathed. From the look of Rail's face he had no clue. I hunched over as another plow of memories hit me. Flashes of the Heavens entered in and out of my head. So quickly I saw heavens full of angles, gardens, endless waterfalls. I could see glimpses of Athena and I banishing Gods and Ropers. I even saw Jay helping me find my way through a dark hallway...

I groan at the throbbing headache that had formed.

"Hey," Rail said holding my hands, "talk to me. What's going on?"

"My head." I whimpered. "There're flashes of memories, Painful ones, Rail." I stared at his green eyes that avoided mine. "I can't make them stop." I closed my eyes and saw another scene of dark hallways and hands clawing at my arms.

"Try to focus on just one memory."

"I can't..t-there's too many."

A black figure kneels down in front of me. "I'm going to enjoy this." The figure takes his robe off.

"You can't do this." I say. I thrust my legs up, kicking.

Distantly I heard Rail ask me, "You don't have to remember this. I can take the memory away, Aderes."

His ruff warm hands held either side of my face. Even though closed eyes, I could see his golden glow light up the room. The cold air started to move around me and ruffle my hair. When I opened my eyes Rails' plump lips hovered over mine. "I can take the pain away." He started to whisper.

"No!" I covered his mouth. "I have to remember."

I didn't want to be in the dark anymore. I knew who I was or at least who I used to be. There was a giant puzzle piece missing. And I was going to find out what is was.

Even if it killed me.

I cried out as the memory resurfaced. I pushed my arms out to stop Rail from holding me. " I have to do this." I breathed through clenched teeth.

I have to remember.
