Third person POV
The blonde's bare feet tap against the wet green grass, the small garden they had in front of their house looking very much lovely today after the sudden morning rain.
The air seemed more fresh and Taehyung smiled brightly, feeling light drizzling of water over his shoulder and collarbone, tucked in one of Jungkook's shirts and a mid thigh short beneath it.
His bestie, Jimin inside the house, curled on the sofa with a coffee mug in his small palms, glancing at him in between from behind the large window.
Taehyung's slender fingers slightly tapping against his baby bump, enjoying the feeling of wet grass on his swollen feet and nostrils filling with the fresh smell of flowers, he and his husband had planted in the garden.
His round puppy eyes roamed everywhere, the baby's kicking lightly, his happy giggles filling the garden, content and heart filling from joy, the younger's feet came to a halt when his eyes landed over two red roses planted in the soil, both the roses felt like kissing each other's lips and if not for his big baby bump, Taehyung would have sat down to examine those lovelies.
A beautiful charming smile took its place on his lips but the smile faltered when he looked at the yellow flower beside those red beauties. Daffodils.
**
"What are you doing, love?" The blonde was startled slightly when heard the familiar soothing voice of his husband, turning around and smiling gently.
"I am planting roses." The younger male pointed at the flowers from the place he was sitting, looking up at his husband who sat down beside him, filling the hole with the soil as Taehyung watered the newly planted roses.
"Flowers are so beautiful, Jungkook. Look at these roses, they look so pretty together." The captain watched his husband squeal with delight, a fond smile on his lips, nodding his head.
"Do you know, every flower has their own meaning, do you know what roses means, Jungkookie?" The male stopped himself from cooing out loud, softly shaking his head in no, even when the raven knew what those red beauties represented.
"Roses represent love, Jungkookie. They are a symbol of romance, of affection, of sacrifices and fights people make for their love. Just like, j-just like us, these two flowers represent u-us, young and in l-love." Taehyung uttered, his cheeks painting red from the shyness he felt crawling in his system, his husband beside him chucking, amused at the blonde's red cheeks and shy gazes.
"Is that why, there are two roses, darling? You and me?" Jungkook asked, his voice soft and the tease it held made Taehyung feel hot, furiously nodding his head, the male bit on his lower lip.
The blonde ducked his down but he felt his breath knocked out of his lungs when felt a finger placed on his chin, lifting his head up. Taehyung's wide puppy eyes meeting with sparkling doe orbs.
A rough yet soft pair of lips were pressed against Taehyung's, who melted from the softest kiss, looking wide eyed at Jungkook who looked fondly at him as the younger hid his face in the captain's chest unable to held the other's intense gaze, the action earning him with a heavy arm wrapped around his waist and a happy laugh from the captain.
The raven stared at the blonde mop of hairs, his orbs filling with affection saddening a bit as his hold tightened around the Male's slim waist.
He sighed, burying his face at the extension of Taehyung's neck, sucking a breath and trailing his tongue softly at the bare skin, when felt the younger going stiff in his arm, he smiled. Pulling back and staring at the art he created.
"Sorry." Jungkook uttered embarrassedly as he looked down, Taehyung cupping his cheeks and giving him a shy peck. "I love it, koo koo. There's nothing to apologize for."
The captain only smiled fondly at him, nodding his head softly at the action causing his husband to frown. Taehyung's thumb caressed Jungkook's cheeks, a deep soothing voice filling his ears.
"Is there anything wrong, Jungkook? You're thinking of something."
The captain silently rose to his feet, the younger looking at him with worry-filled eyes as he watched Jungkook carrying a pot in his hands, a yellow dazzling flower swang from one side to another with every step of him.
Taehyung watched his husband sit down in front of him as he started digging at the soil beside the rose flowers, looking confused, the blonde waited silently for Jungkook to explain.
He smiled after the flower was planted, gazing at Taehyung. His eyes spoke love and something that even the younger couldn't read. The blonde took a close look at the flower, lips softly curling down, his eyes wavering.
"Daffodil?" He gazes up at Jungkook, who nodded his head at him. "Why?" The blonde raised his question, waiting for the captain's response.
"Daffodil symbolizes chivalry, Tae. They indicate rebirth, new beginnings and an eternal life. They represent unrequited love and–" A gasp was heard from Taehyung, Jungkook looking down at him fondly.
"Unrequited love? But koo, we love each other. W-why unrequited?" Jungkook bit on his bottom lip, shifting closer to the smaller male, their knees brushed against each other and the raven held his lover's hands in his soft palms against his rough one.
"Love, there's no doubt that you love me, there's no doubt that I love you, baby. But–
"But?" Taehyung's voice was filled with hesitation, his round puppy eyes shining with fear.
"But, darling. If any day, I don't come back to you—
"Jungkook, don't talk nonsense!" Taehyung's sharp voice stopped the raven in mid, his body filling with a panic making him almost launch himself into his embrace.
"Baby, love. Hear me out, once please." The male pleaded, cupping Taehyung's bread cheeks in his large hands, looking at him with orbs that looked deep like the ocean.
The blonde continued watching his husband without a blink of his eyelashes, heart hammering against his limbs and even if Jungkook was the one familiar with guns, Taehyung felt bullets piercing through his soul at the thought of his husband never coming back to him.
"Y-you will leave me? Y-you will not make any effort to come back to your b-baby?" He stuttered, arms curling around Jungkook's nape and Taehyung felt himself pull in the other's lap as he buried his face in his chest, a kiss planted on the crown of his head.
"If I ever have to, I will fight with the demons and request to the angels, love. Only for you, Only to come back in your arms. But if they don't let me, if my karma weren't good enough to be with a flower like you, to call you mine and be yours. Then– I want you to see this, daffodil."
The blonde looked up from Jungkook's chest, his round almond eyes teary, a water droplet rolling down his cheek, the captain wiping it away with his thumb.
"I want you to look at this daffodil, darling. And remember how they represent rebirth and a new beginning. I want you to start a new beginning, love. I want you to find another man who would treat you with chivalry– kindness and gentleness. I want you to forget about me and love the man you deserve. Leaving me behind with my unrequited love."
The captain finished, his eyes fixed at the yellow flower, his husband curled into his lap, fingers playing with the blonde locks softly, but he flinched slightly when the smaller male in his lap wailed, a sob wrenching out from his lips.
"Love." Jungkook asked, panicked and worried in his orbs, looking down at his husband as he forced him to look up at him and meet his eyes.
"Why are you crying, darling?" The raven asked, only to hiss in pain when a hard punch landed on his chest, pouting down at the blonde.
"You are stupid! Y-you are so stupid! A-always ruins m-my mood and talks nonsense! I hate you!" Taehyung slapped his husband against his chest rapidly, the raven smiling fondly at the younger.
"But lov—
"No! No buts! Listen Jeon–" Taehyung looked up, his eyes shining from tears but filled with desperation, fierce that Jungkook looked amused.
"You are mine! No one can snatch you away from me, no one! Not demons. Not angels! Even when death comes, I want you to be just beside me, you call me, moon– I want you to be just beside that moon in the sky!"
Taehyung's orbs wavered to the daffodil the raven had planted, travelling toward the roses, he bit on his lips and again looked up at his husband.
"If I ever had to, e-ever– I-i will look at these roses, Jungkook. I will remember your kindness, your gentleness. I will believe you, that you will come back to me, you will fight for me. For our love. I will stare at these roses and believe in our love." The blonde whispered, his breath tickling Jungkook's skin, who opened his mouth to utter a word but was silenced with a soft pair of lips against his.
Taehyung's arms wrapped around Jungkook's nape, curled into his lap and Jungkook's tattooed arms wrapped around his thin waist as their lips danced in sync, moulding into each other like those puzzle pieces.
**
Taehyung blinked his tears away, his fingers raising to rest against his own lips, eyes gazing at the daffodil and those roses, caressing his baby bump softly.
The blonde turned around on his heels to get inside, feeling overwhelmed from all those memories and without Jungkook's presence from past days but his bare feet came to halt, a wave of dizziness hitting his body. He stumbled and shook his head away.
The male felt weird, a sense of uneasiness washed over Taehyung's brain, his calm heart clenched tightly into his chest. The male rapidly blinked his eyelashes, arms curling around the tummy to protect his baby from any danger surrounding them.
Taehyung's eyes wavered, losing their focus for mere seconds and he felt it difficult to breathe. The blonde tried to take steps forward but stood frozen, a sudden worry raised in his heart and water droplets burned his eyes, the male felt goosebumps rising on his skin and when the blonde wanted to scream for his best friend, Jimin for help. A name left his lips, without permission;
"J-jungkookie.." Taehyung paled, shaking hands raising to touch his cheeks, fresh tears on his face. The name Taehyung loved the most, rolled from his tongue like a mantra.
"Jungkook, koo koo.." The male unable to stand more, his body falling forward but was caught by Jimin, the male looking horrified for his best friend.
"Tae! Taehyung! K-keep your eyes open, sweetheart. Tae.." Jimin tapped frantically against his cheek, dragging the almost unconscious Taehyung with him toward the car, making him sit and securing the younger with the seat belt, he hurried toward the driving seat when his wrist was caught by Taehyung's shaking fingers.
The blonde's face was sweaty, his expressions twitching from pain, the male's lower tummy hurting and frequent kicks leaving against the inside of his stomach.
Jimin looked worriedly at him as he brushed away Taehyung's bangs from his sweaty forehead.
"Taetae, everything is fine. Your champ is coming, he is– breath, breath, Taehyung." The male tried to shush the younger one up, even when his own hands shook from anticipation and fear, sight already blurring from tears.
But Taehyung shook his head, Jimin leaning closer to hear his friend's stutter of words but he froze when;
"J-jungkook, koo, m-my koo, h-he is hurt, h-hurt. I-i f-feel it— Love, h-he is hurting..."
