POV Elsa
Jack and I followed Winnie and her little werewolf brothers. Soon we saw some lights through the spooky forest where we were walking. I couldn't see clear image of the hotel where we were going due to the thick fog.
However the closer we got, the better I started to see the shape of a castle.
"You will love the place," Jack said quietly and flashed me a smile.
Then I saw the castle, it was dark but yet inviting looking. We went over a bridge and straight to front door. I was quite surprised to see sliding automatic glass doors which Winnie went in with her brothers.
"Johnnyyyy," Winnie howled when we went in. Then she ran off to somewhere and mumbled something of Dennis.
"Well, well.. what do my eyes see walking in from the front door," a woman laughed. She had her arms crossed while she approached us.
"Mavis! That's Jack," a man shouted and ran past the woman with short black hair and strangely dark make up.
The red haired guy grabbed to Jack's hand and shook it.
"It has been like—two years," the guy laughed.
"Four years Johnny," Mavis chuckled and ruffled Johnny's hair.
"Yup. Long time no see. We were wondering if you have some spare rooms," Jack laughed as Johnny let go of his hand.
"Speaking of seeing.. Who is this?" Mavis leaned to my direction with her hands behind her back.
"Elsa," I replied.
So far there was nothing peculiar looking going on in the lobby of the castle hotel. No monsters at sight, except the werewolf puppies that just left. I dared to shake the hand of Mavis.
"So when is the big date?" Jack asked while smiling all of a sudden. His free hand was inside his hoodies pocket as the other kept his crooked staff right next to him. I just now noticed how some sparkly frost covers the staff's surface as well as his clothes.
Johnny grinned and looks at Mavis.
"Next year," Johnny chuckled and Jack nodded his head.
"Oh, you guys are getting married?" I laughed happily after their words made me focus back to this moment.
Johnny shook his head which confused me and then he rubbed his neck. "Nah, then my dear wife Mavis will bite me," he said casually.
"Bite?" I managed to gulp out.
"Yup, she doesn't want me to go faster with the aging than she does so she gave me age limit of 30 in human years. Right? My little cutie bat girl," he said the last part while tickling Mavis's chin. She giggled when she tickled and then in a poof she vanished and I stared at a bat that was flapping its wings in the air.
My face paled to white and I glance at Jack. 'Vampires?' I mouthed to Jack as I tried to pull him away.
"Don't worry, they're cool. I've known her since she was a little tiny baby bat and Johnny came into picture few years back," Jack laughed and Mavis turned back into something like human.
"Oh," I laughed nervously.
"Don't worry, daddy me and our son only drink from blood transfer pouches," she smiled and I saw her fangs which made me feel a chill going up my spine. She just casually ignored the fact of drinking blood which might freak me out a bit.
"So you need a room? Welcome to our humble hotel! We only have one room free though but you guys can surely share it on your honeymoon," Johnny said while taking us towards a staircase.
The inside of the hotel reminded me of a regular high end hotel. There was marble finishes and it was neat. The only odd thing in here was the guests that look like they came straight from horror movies.
"We're not on a honeymoon Johnny, I can stay on the roof over the room," Jack said politely.
"No!" I shrieked when a slimy looking thing passes us. I quickly grabbed to Jack's arm and he glanced down on me. "We're sharing," I told him.
There's no way I'm sleeping alone in this hotel.
"That's good," Johnny nodded his head as he went to the counter.
Quickly he searched for a room key that he handed over to me. He gave us instructions to our room and Mavis promised to borrow me some clothes as well as to bring us towels that we could take a shower. It was a nice thought since we were still stained from the crash to the mud puddle.
Jack took his shower first while I waited for the clothes. Then I heard the miniature head shrieking that Mavis is behind the door. Yeah, they had these shrunk heads hanging from door knobs and they were able to speak.
"Sorry I only have some black dresses," Mavis grinned when she handed me over a bunch of dresses.
"It's fine," I smiled nervously. I had just narrowed the door open just in case.
"Mm.. I could swear that I've heard about you before.. Elsa.." Mavis wondered and stared into my eyes.
"Oh, well I'm a singer," I replied but then I remembered that the barrier must've kept that information away from the people on this side.
"Wow! Then you should sing tomorrow at the hotel pool party but.. that's not it," she said while narrowing her eyes and staring at me.
A gasp of wind formed in the room and I felt hands on my shoulders.
"Mavis!" Jack cheered and squeezed my shoulders with his bony fingers. "Thanks for the dresses but now Elsa really needs a shower and rest." He added.
Mavis crossed her hands in front of her and nodded her head. She left and wished us good night even though I doubt that she will sleep at all.
I turn around, Jack is wearing a towel around his waist and his hair is dripping wet.
"I'm... gonna take that shower now," I mumbled when I passed him quickly.
I grabbed a towel from the end of the bed. Then I rushed into the shower with my cheeks being burning hot. It is hard to deny the crush that I formed towards him when he was staying at my place. Now he is the person who abducted me, perhaps unintentionally but he still did so.
The shower felt good as it cleansed my skin from the mud that had dried up on my skin. I didn't dare to use any soap that they had. I swear that one bottle had 'acid' as ingredient.
The steam from the shower filled up the room which Mavis and Johnny named as honeymoon suite. Yeah there was a king size bed and it had a separate space with couch and coffee table right in front of an enormous fire place which was lit. The décor was also rather nice, there are stone walls and the rich colors of purple are in the fabrics.
Jack was sitting on the couch with the towel still around his waist. He lifted his head up and grinned when he saw me. I was wearing a towel around me and I had carefully wrapped the towel around my hair.
I see that Jack has something in his hands and then I realize that it's a music player with headphones that are going to his head.
"What are you listening and since when did you have a player?" I questioned.
The gentle light coming from the candles is making the room to seem like magical. There's no single electrical object in this room except his music player.
"Your singing--," he replied and then added, "—I borrowed this from Anna... in case I see neither of you again."
I blinked few times.
"Your singing is rather nice ," he chuckled.
I went to him and I snatched the player from him. "You took this without permission, didn't you?" I insisted and then I noticed that there was still some music playing. "And how can you hear what I said over this noise?"
"I still know how to read from lips," he shrugged, "—and the ways the trolls let you guys to compensate with the loss of magic is awesome."
"I have no idea of what you're talking about," I sighed.
"Well you should sleep anyway," he said and stared at me seriously.
"No, I should use a blow dryer to my hair first before I can put the night gown on," I huffed while thinking of the black night gown which Mavis borrowed to me.
"There's no electricity in here... and they won't know what a blow dryer is," Jack exhaled.
"Sure they do," I told him. "And didn't Johnny bring you some clothes?" I gasped when he stood up with that towel just tied around his waist.
"No and I wouldn't wear his clothes. I just washed mine and put them to dry in the wind that I'm creating outside," he said and pointed out to the balcony.
I saw his clothes flapping in the wind and seeming dry. Then I had an idea.
Quickly I went to the balcony and I opened it up.
"Elsa no!" Jack shouted when I stepped outside.
There was this really chilly wind blowing and before I realized it, it had snatched the towel from around me and thrown it far away from my reach. A scream escaped from me just when the wind paused.
Jack ran to the balcony right after me. I covered my chest with my hands and I tried to turn myself away from him.
"I...tried to.." he gulped and then he threw something at me.
It was his towel.
He was really red and I saw a glimpse of him wearing nothing before he turned around.
"Cover yourself up and go in," he stuttered.
I wrapped his towel around me and I sneaked back inside the room. When I went in I passed him and I mentally slapped myself when I stared at his muscular back and his butt for a moment too long.
My heart was racing when I quickly pulled the night gown which Mavis borrowed on me. While getting dressed I noticed how Jack had already put on his pants and he was taking his hoodie from the string. I see that he had frozen it still from the sleeves to the string.
Jack got back in and I stare at the floor while I sit on the couch.
"I tried to warn you... the wind which I created was a bit strong," he sighed.
"Yeah," I exhaled and I touched my hair. It had frozen into spikes and when I touched them I managed to melt them down.
They were wet again.
"If you wanted your hair dry baby snow, you should've just asked," he said softly. I glance at him when he gets closer.
His hand touches my head and he rounds his lips while leaning down, like he is this big brother who is about to kiss his little sister on the forehead. I feel a gentle wind blowing and I watch how he blows some air, keeping his eyes closed. Before I knew it he had got my hair dry and he backed up.
"Thanks," I gulped.
"You're welcome," he smiled warmly. "Now.. could you go to your bed and I could go to my couch?" he grinned.
"Sleep with me," I said while staring at him. His eyes widened and his lips formed a thin line when he was in shock.
"N-not in that way.. remember... the nightmares?" I whispered. My hand was playing with my hair, this happens when I'm extremely nervous.
"Yeah...sure," he laughed nervously and cleared his throat.
We went to the bed, he was laying next to me and I crawled closer to him. Sleeping alone terrifies me in unknown places, that's why Anna is often with me on my singing tours. She can calm me down when my nerves are about to crack up and I'm almost freezing the place... but... strangely he can do the same.
"Hold your breath for a moment... I'm going to put off the candles by removing the oxygen from the air," Jack whispered and I nodded my head.
After he waved his hand I saw how the candles were slowly losing the battle. For few moments they managed to battle against their flames being put down. However they had to give up eventually and after the last candle flame was gone I just smelled the mix of smoke and wax in the air.
"You can breathe now," Jack told me but I already knew it. We wished each other good night and I fell asleep rather fast.
"....And this was the story how Tinkerbell showed me NeverNeverLand!" Jack's voice laughed.
I kept on clapping my hands together when I opened up my eyes after blinking them. He landed down to ground and bowed. He had told me another story of his adventures which he had experienced a lot even though he was still young.
"That was funny ice fairy!" I giggled.
"Tick tock, tick tock," Jack grinned while he mimicked at the wake up clock from the story. He was kneeling down in front of me, his eyes sparkled from joy and he laughed with tears in the corner of his eyes.
I would miss him.
My tiny hands went to his cheeks. "Ice fairy," my voice cracked up. My tiny voice of a child.
"What is it baby snow?" he asked, his expression was now more serious one.
"I have to go," I sniffed.
"Yeah,it is getting late. You should sleep," he smiled in relief but I shook my head.
How should I tell my friend that I need to leave? He was always there to fight the boogeyman off when he tried to scare me. My best friend, the ice fairy whose clothes have some sparkly snow on them. He told me that I'm not bad when boogeyman said I am.
"We will leave tomorrow," I said while trying to swallow my tears. I must be brave like he told me to be.
"Well I'll see you when you come back," Jack grinned.
"I won't come back," I cried and I jumped to his embrace.
He exhaled when my mass hit against his chest but then I felt his arms around me. The first time I saw him, my hand went through his when he said that he would get me up. Of course imaginary friends couldn't help you up but as time passed and I got to know him better, I could actually touch him. And he loved hugs.
"Baby snow?" Jack asked. I couldn't tell if it was worry in his voice or sorrow.
I look up on him and my cheeks flushed. His eyes were so pretty like his hair. Soon he would place the kiss of good night to my forehead for the last time.
Suddenly he created an icy hopping rabbit. He always told me that it was like a replica of one of his friends. It made me laugh like it always did and he laughed with me, somehow he always knows how to cheer me up.
"Me and my family will leave.." I whispered after we had laughed our lungs out.
"Oh," was all he managed to say aloud.
Just when he was about to say something again I spoke above him, "—Find me."
"I will do so right away--," he began but I covered his mouth with my hand.
"On my 18th birthday. Find me then?" I insisted and then I took my hand away. This would be the best.
"That's like--," he wondered.
"Ten years from now," I whispered sadly.
He was quiet, really quiet. I saw how his hand was squeezing the staff in his hand.
"Okay," he finally whispered.
It made my face burn up and I quickly look away. My heart was racing as my plan was getting clearer in my mind. I never dared to give him a kiss of good night but as 18 year old I would be brave enough to kiss his cheek. This idea made me giggle in the inside even though it was painful for me to depart from my friend for a long time.
When I woke up early in the morning I noticed that Jack was on the balcony. My cheeks heated up when I look at his face. As a child I wanted to give him a kiss on cheek when I'm older, it was a silly young girls dream but the idea of it makes my heart pound inside my chest.
Jack was reading a piece of paper when I got outside with him. He quickly folded the paper and tucked it inside his pocket. He was really serious looking while he was reading it.
"What was that?" I asked.
"Just this plain, old grocery list of North's that I found at his place before we left from there. Nothing to worry about," Jack smiled while watching at me.
His voice caused my heart to skip a beat. The mix of my emotions was causing butterflies to swarm inside my stomach. The mix of the child me having a crush on her friend and the adult me having slightly romantic feelings and a hint of doubts that were running wild in my mind. Would he reply to my feelings in the same way and if he does, do I even want his feelings? He was going to leave me behind and unless I hadn't jumped after him and come to this weird side of barrier we wouldn't be together. Also I can't help to wonder what else is he hiding, including the paper he just folded away. It can't be a simple grocery list if it made him to look so concerned.
POV Anna
"They are not here!" I cried to Kristoff after I searched each one of the rooms at my home.
"I think that we need to go back to --," Kristoff began but then I snorted.
"To that relative stone troll of yours? If we would've known about the danger Elsa was in we wouldn't have left her with Jack. I knew that something was wrong," I groaned.
"Well he didn't fake being deaf, did he?" Kristoff questioned.
"Yes but Jack Frost is bad news for Elsa, didn't you hear what your--," I insisted with my voice rising.
"What my stone relative said? Yeah I did and you should calm down. We can travel back to my cabin and ask what we should do. Maybe she can tell us what to do next so we can find your sister," Kristoff sighed. As usual he was the one who tried to keep his mind calm.
"I guess you're right even though I hate to admit it," I said and then I blew a hairstrand off from my forehead.
We went back to the car and began making our way back to the cabin. It was already night time and I haven't heard of Elsa for over a day.
"Listen, I don't think that Jack was that bad. I mean, he was really cheerful like you are and Elsa liked spending time with him even though she dislikes most of guys after what Hans did. I can't see him hurting Elsa," Kristoff mumbled.
"Maybe he fooled us all to get to Elsa. What if he planned it all?" I said and crossed my arms over my chest. We just drove off from the city area.
Kristoff exhaled. I knew that he was worried like I was, it isn't normal for Elsa to disappear like this. I stare out from the car window and I lean my chin to my hand.
Betrayal was something that Grandma had said that would happen. Also she had blasted out some things to our knowledge like Jack having a strong connection with something evil, that things would be really bad if he was around Elsa. Jack Frost is a Guardian with dangerous kind of mind, that's what Grandma told us.
"Maybe you should call to Grandma that we're coming back," I said to Kristoff who then pulled the car over and we switched seats so I could drive.
Just when Kristoff was about to do the call the phone began ringing.
"Grandma," he whispered and glanced at me before replying to the call.
"I was just about to call you – oh you knew. Yes, Elsa was gone... yes he was gone as well."
There was a moment of silence. I turn the car to the road going through the forest and towards the mountains. There was almost no traffic like usual.
"We're almost back at the cabin Grandma."
"Does she know where they went?" I asked quietly.
"Do you – you do know?" Kristoff gasped and I saw him squeezing the phone in his hand.
Kristoff ended the call then and he keeps on staring at me.
"Well?" I insisted while I kept looking back and forth between him and the road.
"She knows a way to the other side of the barrier. She says that she can't feel Elsa here anymore, she must be there," Kristoff said quietly.
"WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR THEN!" I shouted and I stepped on the gas which made Kristoff yell for me to slow down. The tail of the car was drifting on the slippery road as we went.
I must hurry to get my sister back. Who knows what will happen unless I don't make it in time.
POV Dennis
"Mom! I'm going to play with Winnie today and we'll check if uncle Jack wants to come too," I cheered as I was rushing out of our suite.
"Wait Dennis!" Mom called after me.
I stopped and I turned back to face her again. She grinned and messed up my curly red hair and pecked a kiss on my cheek.
"Mom! YUCK! I'm not a three year old anymore," I cried and she just laughed.
"That's right he is a big 10 year old," dad came in.
"But Johnny, Dennis will always be my baby," mom sang like a bird when she spoke to me like I was a baby.
"Run little dude! I'll hold her off for a while," dad cheered and took a hold of mom. "Okay Mavis, want a teeny tiny kissy?" Dad cocked his eyebrow up and I ran off before I got my mind scarred for life.
"Fly time! Dennis superhero ongoing!" I shouted when my body changed.
First my legs shortened and I was dropping down towards the stone floor but then my arms grew wings and with one single flap I was staying in the air. I just love this.
"Winniee!" I shouted when I flew past her bedroom and soon I heard her howl and she ran out from the room right after me with her four paws scraping the ground.
"How did my zing sleep last night?" Winnie asked from me while we headed down the staircase.
"Uh, you know that I don't want to sleep at nights! Mom just forces me to do so," I groaned. "But well thank you!" I laughed.
"I think they have had their lunch already. Do you think that Jack will play today?" Winnie asked and was whipping her tail in excitement.
"Sure! Why wouldn't he! Gosh it has been ages since he last visited our hotel! And then mom didn't let me go and see him at night.. stupid bed times," I mumbled the last part.
Winnie paused at the end of the stairs and sniffed the air. Then she let out the cry of a hunting wolf and started to run outside from the castle. I flew after her and the gust of wind took a hold of my wings.
"Whoa!" I gulped and I quickly turned back to more human like figure.
Jack was sitting on a rock just beyond the castle. He straightened his back when he saw me and Winnie rushing towards him.
"Hey!" I yelled and waved my hand.
Jack was talking with Winnie's dad.
"—so things have not been easy around here." Winnie's dad ended his sentence to Jack and then he glared at us.
"On you go puppies, we have adult talk." Winnie's dad said and straightened his tie around his neck. He wore a dress shirt and Capri pants.
"But dad!" Winnie whined but I pulled her away.
"It won't take long kids," Jack smiled.
"You heard him," I whispered and we went to sit on the edge of the bridge while they chatted.
"Can you hear them?" I whispered to Winnie who was certainly listening. Her werewolf ears were twitching.
"Yeah, dad is telling Jack how this is only place where the witch queens don't dare to come, " Winnie said quietly.
"You think that Jack doesn't know?" I asked and Winnie shook her head.
"No he doesn't. Jack asked dads help to find where his friends are but his sense of smell is gone and to be honest even I can't smell that old tracks," Winnie sighed.
I elbowed her quickly, just before her dad was about to pass us. He gave us a look that certainly meant that we had heard him. However it wasn't that big of a secret what has been happening around the past years. This place has been saved though, because all the monsters took this place as safe place and my grandpa Dracula is too feared by even the witch queens.
"So, I guess you two were searching for me?" Jack asked as he stood before us.
"Yeah! We wanna play!" Winnie cheered in excitement.
"In snow!" I added and grinned.
Jack laughed and nodded his head, "Sure kiddo. Mind if I bring a friend with me?"
I frowned. "Friend?" Winnie began to giggle.
Jack smiled and held his other hand in his pocket while he pointed down from the bridge.
Inside the fog I saw a figure and when I narrowed my eyes I saw a woman looking at a running stream. She was kneeling down and being deep in her thoughts. She was quite the opposite from my mom with her long platinum blonde hair. She wore a greenish type of dress.
Jack whistled and she looks at our direction. Her eyes were clear blue.
"Your wife?" I muttered.
"Nah, a friend," Jack chuckled while she approached us. She held her other arm that hangs against her side with her hand and she had a shy smile.
"Elsa, Winnie you already know but this kiddo here is Dennis," Jack introduced us.
"Hi and good afternoon," she smiled.
"These two want to play in snow so we wondered if you would like to join us?" Jack continued.
"Well... I..." Elsa spoke like she was about to refuse, her lips had narrowed down.
"Please! It would be fun," Winnie whipped her tail and went to offer her paw to Elsa.
Winnie's actions made Elsa to laugh a bit and she agreed. Jack smiled slyly before he swung his staff in the air and we saw a huge pile of snow appearing.
"Last one is a jerk!" Winnie cheered and ran on top of the snow hill that Jack had created.
"Are you okay?" Elsa asked from Jack and I noticed that he was breathing a bit heavily and some sweat was on his forehead.
"Yeah--," he replied and wiped his forehead before flashing a smile to both of us, "—I have gotten a bit rusty and that's all. Now, Winnie mentioned something about the last one being a jerk." Jack said playfully and began running.
"Come on Dennis, game is on," Elsa said seriously and took my hand.
"I can win him!" I chuckled and Elsa flinched when I changed myself into a vampire bat.
She stared at me in shock for a moment and I couldn't help to think that where on earth did Jack manage to find a woman who seems like she hasn't seen a vampire bat before.
"C'mon!" I urged Elsa when I began flying.
She growled and ran after us.
"Go Dennis! Go!" Winnie was cheering me from the top of the hill.
Jack paused on the middle of the way, leaning his hands to his knees and he was panting.
"Why don't you fly Jack?" I questioned when I stopped to fly above him. That was when Elsa passed us.
"That snow took too much of my strength. People don't believe... that much..nowadays," he pants out and wipes his forehead.
"Well then you're the jerk," I teased him. He can't be serious.
"Yeah, "he said and coughed a bit.
I heard Elsa's running behind us.
"She's gonna pass you two soon!" Winnie whined from the top. I saw her pointing behind us and I glance over my shoulder.
"Gotta go Jack!" I gulped and I flew directly on the hill top.
Soon Elsa joined us with Jack. She had taken his hand and literally dragged him after her. Jack just kept explaining that he wasn't used to running since he used to fly everywhere which he can't do same as before.
After everyone had caught their breathe we spent the afternoon sliding down the hill and creating snowmen. Elsa was really good on building one and fast. I literally didn't see her rolling any big snow balls.
"My paws are freezing," Winnie complained after three hours of playing.
I threw a snowball at Jack and it on his arm which he lifted up to protect his head.
"Maybe we could play something different?" Elsa suggested. Her throat sounded sore from all the laughing.
"Like what?" I asked.
Jack wiped the snow off from his arm.
"Truth or dare?" Elsa asked carefully.
"Umm.. what's that?" Winnie asked. We began walking towards the hotel.
"Well you can play it indoors. You ask someone if they want to do truth or dare. If it's truth they ask you a question and you must respond honestly. Then dare is usually something that you feel not like doing but you do it anyway," Elsa shrugged.
"That sounds cool!" I cheered.
"We can play it in our room," Jack suggested.
After passing some hotel guests and Elsa walking behind Jack the whole time we got into the room. The hotel has been rather crowded past years.
"Alright, we have about one hour before dinner," Jack said after he had checked the time from clock.
"Who gets to start?" Winnie asked. She was laying on the floor near a set of couches. Everyone gathered there.
"Youngest usually and you just name the person who you want to throw the truth or dare," Elsa said and brushed her hand through her hair.
"How old is everyone? I am 10," I asked.
"21, " Elsa said.
"12 in human years," Winnie grinned.
Everyone stared at Jack now, especially Elsa.
"Uhh... should I add my physical age or?" He rubbed his neck and seemed embarrassed.
"Tell us both," Elsa said simply.
"My body is 21 and it has been roughly 350 years since Manny discovered me," he shrugged.
"So my zing gets to start, then it's me, Elsa and finally Jack!" Winnie giggled and Jack nodded his head while smiling.
"Truth or dare Elsa?" I chuckled.
"Dare?" She replied nervously.
"Taste some scream pudding at dinner, it is my favorite! If you don't you will jump down from the roof," I told her.
"Uh... fine," Elsa gulped.
"Truth or dare Jack," Elsa whispered.
"Usually I would do a dare but I guess you want me to choose truth...so," Jack continued smiling.
"What happened 350 years ago? Who is Manny?" Elsa insisted.
Jack flinched a bit. He usually didn't talk about that even though even I asked once. He seems.. so human like except for his powers and age. And he is not a vampire or half-vampire like I am.
"Manny is man in the moon. My body drowned into icy water hundreds of years ago and he thought that it would suit that he connects my body with a spirit," Jack explained.
"What spirit?" Elsa insisted.
"I think that I already did the truth so--," Jack spoke with seriousness and then he turns his attention towards Winnie, "-truth or dare Winnie?" He smiled.
"Dare!" Winnie grinned.
"Eat some chocolate," Jack smiled deviously.
"That's dangerous Jack!" I gulped.
"You have some, don't you?" Jack raised his eyebrow and stared at me.
"It's okay Dennis, I'll do it," Winnie giggled.
I exhale while I go through my pockets until I found a chocolate bar. Winnie takes it from my hand.
"Why would eating chocolate be a dare.." Elsa muttered.
That was when Winnie took a bite. I see how she tries to swallow it, her eyes are watering and then she gives up, spitting the piece to a nearby garbage can.
"You see-," Jack smiled in satisfaction, "- chocolate is poison in large amounts to dogs so... werewolfs naturally despite eating it."
"Oh," Elsa said while staring at Winnie who was eagerly cleaning her tongue to a towel.
"Yuck!" Winnie said and she shivered from disgust. "Eww.. so Elsa, truth or dare?"
"Truth."
"Is Jack your Zing?" Winnie grinned deviously.
"My what?" Elsa questioned and glances at Jack.
"You know, since you hang out with him I wondered," Winnie shrugged. Her voice was playful and teasing.
Elsa sighed and crossed her arms. "I'm hanging out with him because he dragged me here from—" she began but Jack covered her mouth with his hand while laughing nervously.
"From where?" Winnie raised her eyebrow and then scratched behind her ear with her rear paw like dogs do.
"Haha, well .. Winnie... you asked her if I'm her Zing in the truth and dare game. I think she doesn't know what 'zing' is," Jack smirked.
"Zing is this Special Feeling. For example Winnie is my Zing, I felt it few years back. It happens when you meet your soulmate. It happens only once in your life. My dad was moms Zing," I explained.
Elsa's face turns red. "N-no...I don't think that he is," she laughs out nervously.
"Yeah, it happens to be that I knew her in her childhood like I knew even your Mom Mavis. And I feel like being her big brother more than anything... We had fun when she was a kid like we had fun with you guys today," Jack explained.
I glance at Winnie. She was so excited when she threw the Zing question and now her tail was slowly wiping the ground in disappointed manner.
"Okay," I exhaled. Everyone was quiet for a while.
"It is getting late," Elsa finally said. Her expression was a bit sad.
"Yeah, it kinda is. So see you two at the dinner? Elsa still has that screaming pudding to eat!" Jack cheered.
"Aww, can't we play some more?" Winnie whined with the bottom of her heart.
"Tomorrow we can, there's that party as well, right? I think Elsa has something that she needs to chat with me," Jack smiled his usual friendly smile. His smile was like there are no worries in this world to him.
"Sure. See you later!" I told him as I got up.
Both Winnie and I go towards the door. I see that Winnie's ears are twitching a bit and she's clearly listening the two while they are whispering to each other. We left the room and closed the door behind us.
"So, what were they chatting about?" I asked from Winnie.
"Mmm.. Elsa seemed upset of Jack bringing her here. And Jack began explaining stuff about taking her to a place called Arendelle and--," she whispered and placed her ear close to the door.
"—and he is telling about the unsteady situation," Winnie said and frowned.
We were heading downstairs to play in the lobby. Winnie was deep in her thoughts.
"What's the matter?" I questioned finally when she just stood in the end of the staircase.
"Well, isn't it weird that Elsa doesn't know about the situation? I mean, I think that bad things are happening all around so why has she been able to avoid it?" Winnie spoke.
"Wow, you're really smart! But.. I don't think that we should worry about it. I mean she is Jack's friend," I smiled.
Then Winnie shrugged and seriousness faded off from her face and was replaced by a smile.
"Yeah, you're right so.... YOU'RE IT!" She cheered when her paw hit my shoulder.
Time for some tag. Quickly I ran around the lobby, going between the hotel guests and chasing after Winnie. This is one of my favorite games!
A/N:
So I have heard that you guys have difficulties in understanding the book at some points. You can ask about what is troubling you but some things are meant to be unclear until I open them up in the book. I want you guys to be a bit messed up because, well, Elsa is the main focus in this book for now and she feels confused o-o .
But I can do a short recap of this.
Spoiler as in the recap that includes the latest chapter:
Elsa is a famous singer and she met Jack when she ate his soup. Jack was deaf and got hit by a car and the impact made him lose his sight for a while. Both of them have lost part of their memories but Jack started to get them back slowly until he regained them all. Jack went back behind the barrier where he had come from. The barrier divides the world into two halves, one with magic (Jack's side) and one without (Elsa's side). Kristoff has a grandma who is stone troll which Elsa doesn't know about. Grandma knows about barrier and she thinks that Jack Frost is bad news. Anna is now in search of Elsa. First Jack and Elsa ended up in North's place when Jack had used the snow globe that he had in his belongings. Elsa was shocked when Jack could hear her, the barrier will take one of persons senses away among with the ability to use magic when a person from magic side manages to get to the other side (a protection method). Jack went to get Elsa a new piece of clothing and she explored his bedroom at North's place. Jack had objects on his desk, most of them from girls (can you identify the Disney and dreamworks movies where the objects are from?). Jack was chased by a yeti named Phil and the elves as well, I won't tell you why though because that will be revealed later. They ran with a snowglobe after jumping down from a window (North's place is high on a mountain) and ended up in Transylvania. In Transylvania they got to Hotel Transylvania and met some people. Jack knew about Elsa's powers because he knew her when she was a child which Elsa herself didn't remember until a dream happened.

Is it clearer now? xD As I said, this will be by far the most complex plot I'm trying to pull off.
Anyways,
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Btw, I discovered this awesomesauce anime few weeks ago. It is from same creators who did Attack on Titan. The anime is Koutetsujou no Kabaneri ( Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress). There are these zombie like creatures that they fight against and I love it <3. Also it gave me a new ship called Kayame (Kurusu x Ayame) :3 .
