Lucifer: *grumbling* What makes you think it was a demon?

Jamey: *moves the phone to John*

John: *hiccups, sobbing* H-he l-looked d-different. T-taller- h-his hair- a-and- *wipes his face*

Nat: *shushing him while petting his hair*

Jamey: *takes back the phone* Felix can't change his appearance. The most he can do is change his hairstyle.

Lucifer: Y'know, it could've been something else. Don't we have like wizards or something?

Jamey: *growls* Dad!! This isn't the time for fucking games!!

Lucifer: Alright, alright. I just wanted to lighten up the mood. Give me a week.

Jamey: *splutters* a week?!

Lucifer: You know how many fucking demons I have? On top of that Angelo is the only secretary I have!! Give us a break! We'll try to work as fast as we can, but you'll just have to wait.

Jamey: *growls* Fine! We'll go out and search for him while you're doing that.

John: *shakes his head* I don't wanna see them. *pulls at his hair* I don't.

Jamey: John-

Nat: No he's right.

Mike: If this is a demon we're going against, that means Felix did something. They wanted this, they did this and now they'll have to suffer the consequences.

John: *nods somberly* M-my focus now, i-is the kids. Ok?

Jamey: *frowns* What if Felix didn't do it willingly?

Nat: Don't you need consent from the other person to create a contract?

Jamey: Contracts have holes in them. We're like genies, if you're not specific enough, we'll take advantage of it and use it against you.

Mike: *crosses his arms* Ok, so what's your point?

Jamey: I mean, what if what Felix wanted, wasn't carefully thought out?

John: *rubs his face* Felix always jumps head first into everything. Even if it was a mistake, he still hurt me, he went against me and worst of all, he didn't even include me!! *tears up*

Jamey: *sighs* I can't convince you guys on this can I?

Nat: Not unless.. I guess you bring Felix back to us.

Jamey: Damn, am I actually saving my ex?

Lucifer: *from the phone* Yes you are!! You never hung up and so I heard everything.

Jamey: *deadpans* Why didn't you hang up?

Lucifer: Bored.

Jamey: Go find the demons, you cocksucker!!

I definitely feel like John would at first try and find something to forgive Felix and Ty about, "it wasn't their fault" "oh they're not in control" "something happened to them". Then after crying so much, he realizes that Felix wanted that. Felix wanted what happened to him. It may not have been the outcome that he expected, but John came to a horrible realization that Felix wanted this all along.

But if Felix and Ty were to magically come back with a help of a much higher demon (*cough* Jamey *cough*) maybe John won't me so upset when he's crying into them.
