A low rumbling growl left the alpha as he stood protectively in front of the doorway to his den, displeased with being disturbed and away from his pups. "What do you want?" Chris snaps as he stares at Lucifer in annoyance, blocking the view into the room with his body as his pupils dilate. "Are Jamey and Jerry in there?" Lucifer asks unbothered as he leans against the wall, trying to come off as non-threatening as possible to the other alpha who was clearly on the edge of being in his instincts. "Obviously. Where else would they be?" Chris snarls insulted that he wouldn't know where his pups were, he's not careless! "We were just making sure Chris, you know how they can get sometimes! Always wanting to play and explore." Angelo quickly butted in, gently easing the tension as he smiles softly at the other. "You're a good alpha, looking after them so well! We'll come later okay? When you guys have finished having a nap." The blond says as he pulls Lucifer away, who doesn't look too pleased with the idea of leaving. "I'd rather patrol the territory." Lucifer argues lightly which just gets a look from the smaller man, "This isn't your territory. It'll just piss him off."
