A croon left the forest spirit as he curled around his younglings, covering the babies with his wing to keep them warm before peeking his head over to look at the door. He smiled sleepily letting out a happy chirp at seeing his mate guarding their den before drifting off to sleep.

Angelo let out a sigh as he leaned against the doorway, watching as his partner fussed over their children, looking up at Lucifer exhausted as his husband pressed against his back. "How'd it go? Did you get bit?" Lucifer teased as he pressed a kiss to the side of the blond's head, looking over at the nest amused. "No I didn't get bit. He knows no biting, he did hiss. But he's hurt Lucy, the forest isn't safe for him or them." The demon explained softly as he turned to face the King of Darkness, looking at him expectingly. Lucifer would fix it, he had a solution for all of Angelo's problems. "Have we tried hunting the hunters?" Lucifer offered as he rubbed the blond's arm comfortingly, looking at the nest before looking back at Angelo. "We'll take this talk to the kitchen?" He offered and without a word they left the nest room silently, closing the door gently.

"Killing those pesky things never work Lucifer, it's this forest! It has too much of a reputation." Angelo explained upset as he paced the house, "I don't want Chris or the kids to be here-" A soothing rumble had the demon looking over at the other with a helpless look. "I know darling, but deep breath. I'll find a solution okay? We cannot remove Chris from the forest, they're connected remember? Remove one or the other they both begin to die." Lucifer explains softly as he takes a hold of Angelo's hand, "Maybe we can get help from our witch friend? I'm sure she'll be able to help, she's fond of Chris."
