Mako's POV-

I notice a girl enter the Police Headquarters. "Are you new here?" I ask her.

"Um, yes I am. Can you show me around?" The girl says nervously.

"Sure," I say.

I start walking around, showing her the Police Headquarters. "Mako? Why didn't you tell me Gwen had come?" Lin asked me.

"Sorry, Lin. I was showing her around," I say.

"OK. Welcome Gwen," Lin says. "I guess you have already seen the place. I am the Chief of Police. You can be partnered with Mako," Lin says.

"Oh great. I get partnered with the boring guy," Gwen says quietly.

"I am not boring!" I say.

"Lin, we need police at Yue Bay right away!" Said a guy.

"This is your first case, Gwen," Lin says and leaves.

"Come on," I say while walking to the cars.

I get in and start driving with Gwen sitting next to me. "How do you think I am boring?" I ask her.

"You just are," she says quietly.

As we get there, I notice a boat the has at least 10 police officers on it already. "What happened?" I ask as I get there.

"We heard screaming," one officer says.

Another officer checks through the boat but finds nothing. I turn and go back to the car where Gwen is still waiting. "Let's go," Gwen says.

I start driving as Gwen says,"You are kinda cute."

"What was that?" I ask her.

"You are kinda cute," she says.

"You were rude to me, now you say I'm cute," I say.

"Yeah," she says.

"Well, meet me at the stadium tonight," I say.

"I can't wait," she says.
