Max POV
After our divorce I felt different. I wasn't mad anymore. I wasn't frustrated. I wasn't sad or depressed. I felt empty. Like everything from the past four or five years were all lies. Like All of it never meant anything to her, or that she never really cared. But I know exactly how it was. It was perfect and I wouldn't take it away for anything. I loved every second with her but I just don't feel the same way anymore. I hope she didn't take it too hard.

Right now I was just sitting on the couch staring blankly at the tv screen. A show was on but I was too caught up in my thoughts to care. Then someone knocked on the door. I got up and walked over to the door and opened it. It was Ross. What the hell was he doing here?
"So are you just gonna stare at me while I stand in the rain?"he said smiling
"Oh sorry!"I said and pulled him inside. Maybe a bit too hastily. "So what're you doing here?"I asked as he sat on the couch. I walked over and joined him.
"I was just coming to tell you that Shaylee is moving out"Ross said
"Oh..okay is that it?"I asked
"Well I could hang out here for a while I mean I'm pretty sure Adam wouldn't mind"he said with a expecting look on his face.
"Well I don't see why not so what do you wanna do?ive just been sitting here thinking"I said
"Bout what?"he asked
I didn't really want to tell him that I was thinking about shayz so I just lied.
"Eh whatever crossed my mind....I pretty much forgot it now..."I said hoping he would just brush it off and not talk about it again.
There were a couple moments of silence. I really had nothing to talk about. There were a couple funny incidents I could talk to him about but I already told him those stories. I guess my life hit and official dry spot.
"So what's been going on?"Ross asked me,obviously trying to break the awkward silence.
"Not much I'm pretty sure my life has hit a dry spot"I said drowsily
"Wow that sucks.....I'm pretty sure everybody has just ..I guess ..stopped? I don't know how to phrase it. Heh well that's what I get for not talking to anybody for like a week"
Ross said
"Absolutely no social skills..I feel ya"I said "hey so any new events you know about? Carnivals? Expos? Anything?"i asked
"E3?"Ross said
"That sounds fun! Hey check when it starts!"I said getting excited. Ross took out his phone and googled it.then he gave a disappointed look.
"It's already passed"he said and turned off his phone and put it in his pocket.
"Aw that's sucks.."I said. Then Ross smiled.
"Don't be a sad max after all-"I cut him off
"Okay never mind leave my house,fuck you"I said and Ross laughed
"First of all not your house second of all there's an Fourth of July carnival going on at the park"Ross said
"Still ma- uh not happy about what you said... And yeah I know it's not my house nothing here is familiar"Ross laughed again
"Okay well it it's this weekend so now we have something going on in our lives!"Ross said happily.
"Great!"I said

Still max's POV
Alright today we're going to the carnival. I'm pretty excited since nothing else was happening right now. I rushed to get my clothes on since I slept in and the whole time Adam was shouting out the window.
"MAX HURRY UP!"
"SHUT UP YA BUTT IM GOING AS FAST AS I CAN!"I shouted back.
"DO BETTER!" He laughed
"FUCK YOU!!"I said
I finally got dressed and ran downstairs ,grabbed me phone,and ran outside to see Adam pretending to leave.
"Oh no you don't little fucker"I mumbled and the ran to the car, opened the door and jumped in in a superman pose. I was sprawled across Ross Jin and shayz. Adam was driving and Alesa was laughing. I had then just realized there wasn't a seat for me.
"Guys do I have to stay like this the whole ride?"I asked
"No you don't and tuck your legs in so we can close the door"Alesa said laughing
I did as she said and just laid there in the fetal position. Adam grinned an evil grin. Oh shit.
"Hey max your just gonna have to sit on someone's lap since we don't want you to get hurt~"he said mockingly
"Not it!!"Jin and shayz shouted
"You're all a bunch of butts"I said
So I sat on Ross' lap the rest of the car ride.

The worst part was Adam and Alesa would not stop chanting mithross. Ross stayed silent which didn't help and I just blushed. I was getting really pissed and remembered that Jess was going to with her friends and Jason.

Once we parked I gave out a sigh of relief. I was the first one out. I dusted myself off and saw Jason pull up a couple meters away. They parked and I walked over. Jess jumped out of the passengers side and looked like she was fan girling. Jason stepped out and tried to hold her down so she wouldn't go crazy. Then three people that I didn't know got out from the back. Well except one.Garroth,some dude with brown hair and a green scarf, and another guy who had black hair over one eye and looked pissed. I liked that guy already. He glanced at me and waved. I waved back.

Then Adam walked up to me along with everyone else.
"COOL WE'RE ALL HERE!!!!!~"Jess shouted
"Why are you shouting?" Ross asked
Then Jason Garroth and the two other guys started mouthing 'no' and 'please don't get her started' and stuff like that. Jason put his hand to his neck and shook his head with a disstressed look on his face. Ross just looked at them confused.
"Wellfirstofallallofmyotpssailedinonedaygarrothandlauranceweredaredtokissandthedidandihadanosebleedandthenzaneandtravissaidtheywouldstaybehindbecausetgeyhadtodo'somethings'thenicaughtvyaldanddantemakingoutintheguyshouseanditookpicturessoyeah!!!!!"
Garroth and the two other guys turned tomato red. I'm guessing vyalnte means vyald and Dante and zanvis means Zane and Travis.
"So who are those two"I said pointing at Garroth's...friends?idk
"Oh that's Zane!"she said pointing at the guy dressed in black"and that's vyald!"she said pointing at the other guy.
Now I get why they were blushing.
"They are all brothers!"she said
"Hold up..that guy Zane is related to vyald and Garroth?"Adam asked
"Yeah I know surprising right?"Jess said
"I'm right here"Zane said a bit mad
"But vyald was the one that was adopted!"Jess said
Vyald just looked at her
"Well uh I might've said that a bit to happily heh heh"she said awkwardly
"GUYS WE CAME HERE FOR THE CARNIVAL NOT FOR YOU GUYS TO BICKER!"Ross said
"Alright me and Jason will split everyone up into groups so we can see more parts of the carnival okay?"Adam said
"Why are you guys suddenly in charge?"I asked
"Because I think we are the most responsible here"Adam said
"ONCE AGAIN RIGHT HERE!"Zane said
