It had been a full week since Kyle's run in with Ghostface and he was finally discharged from the hospital. Currently, he was at home, resting and relaxing, while his sister and his girlfriend were taking care of him. Any time that he wasn't taking it easy however, Maxis and Shannon would yell at him.

Also, during the time he was recovering, Evan offered to cancel the whole movie night that the group had planned, prior to the attack. However, Kyle wouldn't let him. The only thing he would agree to was a delay for it. When they were discussing it, Kyle mentioned that there hadn't been any more murders or attacks after that night. Plus, Kyle managed to convince Evan that it would be better to have the movie night because they would all be in a group to protect each other. You know, just in case something happened, like another Ghostface run in. He added the fact that because Evan lives in a pretty remote area, meaning his house was kind of surrounded by the woods, no one should know the group was there.

Another few weeks had passed and it was finally the night when the gang was getting together for their movie night. Shannon drove Kyle and Maxis to Evan's house. They were the last ones to arrive, but that didn't matter.

Evan was the first to greet them, smiling as he watched the trio come to his front porch.

"Hey guys, drinks are in the kitchen, along with some food. Help yourselves." He smiled and let them in.

Kyle, Shannon and Maxis would all walk in, heading directly to the kitchen, so that way they could partake in the snacks and drinks.

"Oh shit, look who it is!" Jaren called out, which earned a few hoots from John.

Jaren would then walk over and high five Kyle, John doing the same afterwards.

"I feel like I haven't seen you guys in ages." Kyle chuckled, returning their high fives.

Jaren nodded, "Work has been making me stay and train the summer hires."

John chimed in, "My folks had me doing yard work and whatnot."

"Ew, work. No thanks." Kyle chuckled, grabbing a drink and going back to talk to the two.

Meanwhile, Shannon was over by the snacks, talking to Maxis and Scotty, who was over there as well.

After getting situated, everyone eventually made their way into the living room, Maxis, Shannon and Kyle taking a couch, with Kyle sitting in the middle. Scotty took a seat on the floor. John and Jaren took the other couch, leaving a chair for Evan. However, Evan didn't take his seat yet, as he was picking the first movie out.

"Our first movie of the night, Halloween!" Evan replied, grinning as he held up the blu-ray case.

"Sweet, what a classic." Kyle smiled, looking at the case Evan was holding.

Evan nodded, popping the disk in and pushing play on the remote.

The first movie was a success, everyone in the group enjoying what they had just watched. Evan would get up and head to the shelf, plucking "Halloween 2" from the rack of blu-rays. He would take the first movie out and put the second one in, but he wouldn't push play yet, as he wanted to give everyone time to get a drink or do whatever they had to.

"I gotta take a leak before we start the next movie." John spoke, getting up from his seat on the couch.

"While he does that, I'm gonna go get another drink." Evan replied, getting up as well.

Jaren got up, "I'm going to go plug my phone in, it needs to charge." He spoke, while holding his phone charger and leaving the couch to find an outlet, somewhere in the house.

Scotty looked around, he also got up but without saying anything. It seemed like no one noticed him getting up either, as the others either left to do their own thing or they were busy scrolling on their phones.

With those four getting up, that left Kyle, Maxis and Shannon still in the living room, on their phones, not paying attention to the surroundings.

Jaren, John and Evan had came back around the same time. John getting done in the bathroom and Evan having a fresh round of drinks for himself and everyone else and Jaren finding a suitable place for his phone to charge.

Evan noticed Scotty's empty seat, however he just shrugged it off, assuming that Scotty had gone up to the bathroom and using it, since he couldn't when John was in there. With that, Evan would begin to play the movie, assuming that Scotty would come back soon.

The second movie had ended and it was time for another break. However, before anyone got up, Evan took a look around and then spoke.

"Hey guys, Scotty didn't come back at all during the movie, did he?"
