Tyler's death obviously came as a shock to every one of his friends. Especially those that just were with him the night before. As the group of friends met at their usual spot, they noticed that another one of them were missing. It happened to be Evan.

However, he wasn't gone for long. In fact, he was currently walking with the dean of the college and a couple of police officers.

"Oh shit. Here comes the dean..." Jaren muttered.

"And some officers?" Kyle added, muttering in confusion.

The dean and the officers approached the group of friends and explained what they were there for and who they needed to speak to. Those people being, Kyle, Scotty and Evan, since they were the ones who had last been with Tyler. Of course, they would follow orders and head back with them for questioning.

One by one, they would question the three males about what happened. They all gave pretty much the same story, except for the parts when they got home, obviously. And, of course, their stories all checked out when they asked around and did some digging. So, the three males were free to go.

At the end of the day, the group of friends wanted nothing more than to go home and just relax for the night. However, Maxis would be spending some of the night at Shannon's house, again, because she wanted to study for the final with some other college students who had that class.

Shannon would give Maxis a lift to her house, then once they were there, they would head inside to wait for some of the others. However, they'd come to find out that it would just be the two of them.

"So, apparently, the others couldn't make it tonight." Shannon sighed, "Oh well, let's get to studying for this final." She smiled.

Maxis nodded, having taken a drink from her water bottle. Then, the two friends would crack open their books.

After studying for about an hour, with small five minute breaks here and there, they decided to take a full thirty minute break.

Shannon smiled as she would text Kyle, grinning and being all giggly about the conversations they were having.

"I love your brother so much, Maxis." Shannon giggled.

Maxis chuckled, "I should hope so, you've only been dating for like three years now." She smiled after that. "Just don't hurt him or break his heart, or else..." she added.

Shannon nodded and giggled, "Of course, although I've heard you say the same thing to him about me."

Maxis nodded, "Damn right."

Shannon giggled some more and then decided to get up to use the bathroom. As she did that, Maxis would play on her phone. However, she would soon get a call. Maxis decided to let it go to voicemail, since she didn't know who it was. She thought that that was the end of it, but it wasn't. The person called her again and again. Finally hitting accept, she'd groan out as a she put the phone to her ear.

"Hello Maxis~" Ghostface spoke.

"Hello?" She replied, "Who is this?"

"Who do you think this is?" They responded back.

Maxis groaned again, she really didn't have time for this. She then sighed as she responded.

"I don't know."

"That's okay Maxis~" Ghostface replied, now changing the subject before Maxis could respond, "It's been a strange week so far, wouldn't you say~?"

Maxis shrugged, even though they couldn't see it, "I guess so?"

"Yes, especially with the deaths of your friends, Maxis~" Ghostface replied, almost cheerfully, if that was possible.

Upon hearing that, Maxis furrowed her brows. How did this stranger know about the deaths and that she was friends with Stevie and Tyler?

"It truly is horrible to think about what I did to your friends, Stevie and Tyler~" Ghostface chuckled.

Maxis' eyes widened, she realized that she was talking to the person who killed them. She growled into the phone, "You motherfucker."

Ghostface chuckled a bit more, "by the way Maxis, how's your brother doing~?" They asked.

Maxis almost dropped her phone right then and there. Now they were playing with fire by mentioning her brother right after having just mentioned her dead friends.

"W... What?" She stammered at first.

"It would be a real shame if something happened to him~" Ghostface chuckled some more.

"You fucking bastard! Don't you fucking hurt him!" Maxis growled while gritting her teeth. She was clutching her phone in anger.

After she said that, the call was ended by the other. She already began to scroll through her contacts for her brother.

Shannon, who had been listening to Maxis talk on the phone, was pretty confused. She didn't know what was being said on the other end, she just knew it wasn't good, whatever it was. Soon, she watched as Maxis quickly fumbled with her phone and was trying to call someone else.

"What's going on?" She asked, looking towards the other, who appeared to be frazzled as she could be.

Maxis put up her index finger, as if gently asking her for a minute as she put her phone back up to her ear.

"Come on Kyle..." Maxis mumbled to herself, finally letting out a sigh of relief when he picked up.

Of course, Kyle had no idea what Maxis was talking about, when she called him out of panic and concern for him. They spoke for a whole thirty minutes, until Maxis felt calm enough. However, when she hung up, she turned towards Shannon.

"I hate to ask you this... But could you drive me home? I just have a bad feeling about something..." She spoke, looking at her friend with worry filled and pleading eyes.

Shannon nodded, "Of course, I'll go get my keys." She replied, even if she didn't fully understand what was happening.

Both of them would head out of the house and get into Shannon's car, going to where Maxis and Kyle lived.

A/N: Well shit, it looks like Maxis has now recieved a call from Ghostface :0 However, it seems like they weren't threatening her, or at least not like the others before... I sure hope everything is alright... See you all in the next chapter!
