"Amelia," my dad said. "Listen. Stay in camp. You'll be safe. Your time will come, trust me. Wait until 3 campers show up at the same time."

"But-" I protest. "That's impossible! Three new campers? At the same time?" Suddenly, a piece of Jeopardy came on.

"Zeus senses illegal contact. I must go. But Amelia," Apollo says. "Heed my warning. Evil things are stirring and I want you to be safe." And then he vanished. I wake up to someone shaking my shoulder.

"Jordan. Jordan! JordanJordanJordan!!!! Wake up! New campers!" I shoot out of bed and pull on my Camp Half-Blood shirt and other clothes.

"How many?"

"I don't know. Annabeth just IM'd Chiron and he said they'll be here soon."

I groaned. Another hour or so of waiting.

Please please please let it be 3 demigods I prayed to my dad. I mean, camp was okay, but I wanted to be out there. On a quest. I wanted a hero's welcome when I got back.

After 2 minutes of being bored, I decided to go down to the eating hollow. It was breakfast time. I scraped in my scrambled eggs and some of my oatmeal and said "For the gods."

An hour or two after breakfast, I was training with my new spear the Nyssa of the Hephaestus cabin.

"Hey," said Mark, a Hephaestus kid. "How's it workin out for ya?" I smile. He has the cutest Southern accent.

"Yeah, it's great!" We stand there not talking and suddenly BOOM! There was a crash and water went every where. I take off running towards the lake. "ANNABETH!!!" I shout. Her, Butch, and 3...3 others ended up in the lake. I gasp, elated. I started to jump around, squealing and hugging people. Which was really unlike me. Everybody was staring.

Once they had dried off, the blondie introduced himself and the others. "I'm Jason and this is Leo and Piper. W-where are we?"

"The only place safe for our kind," I answer. "Camp Half-Blood. Welcome to your new home. Drew, why don't you show Piper around? Annabeth, take Jason. Leo, go with-" I trail off. A big, fiery hammer appeared over Leo's head. Chiron approached just then.

"All hail Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus." I regain composure.

"Nyssa, take Leo and give him a tour of camp and show him the Hephaestus cabin. As the crowd dispersed, I think How can they be part if my destiny, Dad? They don't know a thing. I sigh. I have a feeling that I will be waiting a long time.
