He Finds Out He Loves You
Anyone can figure out by now that Roman was absolutely in love with you. You were the most perfect, ideal partner he could ever want! After finding out you had a passion for art, he practically begged you to show him your pieces. All his hard work was worth it when he saw them. You had an extreme talent for art, which he loved the most about you. Not only did he discover your hidden talent of art, but as he got to know you more, he fell in love with your sense of independence and sassiness. He found it attractive that although he would try to be the Prince Charming and assist you in everything you did, you'd put up a fight and tell him you didn't need a man like him to do things for you. It only made things better when he thought of you as the most ethereal human being he's ever encountered in his life. Needless to say, the man is completely smitten by you. There was only one problem: you were completely oblivious to this fact.
You were working out a few problems of your own, for you have also fallen a bit for the man over the course of your friendship. You were too busy trying to work things out in your head on how to confess your feelings to him, to even notice that the man himself was doing everything he can to make you notice his flirtatious actions. He tried all of his moves on you, even his most risqué flirting, which should've left you flustered, but instead made you laugh at his ridiculousness and continue your normal conversation. He was so close to giving up.
Tonight, Thomas wanted a game night with his personalities. They were playing a game of cards and holding up conversations, while Roman was half-heartedly listening to them. Everyone soon noticed that the regal personality wasn't his usual loud and enthusiastic self. "You ok, buddy?" Thomas asked worriedly. The others leaned in to listen to the sulking prince. Roman sighed. "I know you guys know by now I love (y/n) but they don't even know that I love them! Even when I try my smoothest and most effective flirty lines on them, they still don't get the hint! I am Prince Roman, for heaven's sake! They should've swooned the moment I started flirting with them!" He explained, each second of it growing more and more frustrated with his situation. Patton shook his head and chuckled. "Well kiddo, did you even confess to them yet?" Roman stopped his running thoughts for a brief moment when the father figure said this. He completely forgot to even tell you of his undying love for you. He looked at the rest of the group and smiled. "Hm. You're right, I haven't told them yet," he said with a tone a bit happier than before. Thomas laughed. "Being the most romantic one of my sides, I'm surprised you forgot the simplest action to start any sort of romance." Virgil stayed quiet, quite amused at Princey's failure in winning over someone's heart. After all, Roman always did brag to the group that he could make any royalty swoon at the sight of him. Roman rubbed his forehead tiredly. "I know I know Thomas, it's just that my mind blanks whenever I see (y/n). I can't think straight when I'm with them. That's probably why I got this whole thing wrong."
Logan appreciated the Royal finding his sense of self again but he couldn't help but feel the need to butt in. "I think all of you must take into account that the way to (y/n)'s heart is not through flirtatious comments." With that, everyone in the room was effectively silenced. They were shocked Logan would even consider speaking on the subject of love. "Roman, (y/n) is a very independent person. While your attitudes similar to a proper gentleman may be appreciated by many others, it will not cause your source of infatuation to, ahem, 'swoon.'" Logan added. Patton nodded in agreement. "Logan's right. You need to be straight and sincere with them. No extravagant gestures of love or any of that kind." Roman groaned. "So you're telling me that my creative plan of confessing to them under the moonlight in a romantic setting wouldn't work??" Virgil cringed at the thought and shook his head. "No, princey. Just straight up confess and ask if they like you back." Roman sighed and let the others continue their normal conversations, needing time to figure out how and when he would confess to you.
