He Has Feelings For You
A/n: Holy cow my first Deceit oneshot blew up. I do admit, the guy really did grow on me these past few days, so let's catch up your story with Deceit.
~~~~~~~~~~~
It seemed that you completely forgot about your realistic nightmare. You continued your life, living it to the fullest. It seemed that recently, all your friends were getting married except for you. It didn't bother you that you were still single, but it did get exhausting going to many weddings without time to yourself. You loved a good party, but sometimes you just needed a night at home, watching reruns of your favorite tv shows.
You sighed and shook your head of your thoughts. You just finished unpacking your suitcase and wore your best outfit for your friend's party tonight, the night before their wedding. Flying to another state was exhausting, but you had no choice when it came to supporting your friends. When you arrived at the party, you noticed Thomas standing alone in the corner. You were so tired, but you tried your best to put on a smile. "Hi Thomas! Nice seeing you here!" You said enthusiastically. He looked at you and gave you a half-hearted smile. You could tell he wasn't enjoying his time here either. "Yeah, I'm excited to be here!" He lied smoothly. You narrowed your eyes, but didn't question his deceit. "How are you (y/n)? Enjoying the party?" He asked.
You started to sweat. You didn't know if you should lie to Thomas, or tell the truth. You knew he didn't like being here, but you didn't want to tell the truth in case someone else was listening. You sighed and mimicked Thomas's actions. "Yeah, I love the party!" You shot him a quick smile before swiftly leaving the conversation. You walked over to the other side of the room and calmed your beating heart. You didn't like lying—you despised the idea itself. You had to, though, so you wouldn't offend anyone. You took a sip of your drink and tried to forget about the conversation.
Meanwhile, Thomas was having a crisis in his mind. You were attractive, and his personalities were clashing with each other to see who could find the best way to flirt with you. As he tried to calm his thoughts and his four personalities, he failed to realize another personality was present in the conversation.
Deceit has been watching you for the past few hours. He couldn't help but want you. He was attracted to your charismatic smile, and how completely opposite you were to him. He found the idea of being with you thrilling, dreaming of ways he can get you to live a dangerous life with him. Getting fed up with the constant bickering from the others, he used his power to shut everyone up. Thomas took note of this and before he could react, his deceit took over entirely. Deceit took a deep breath and opened his eyes, scanning the room for you.
You were occupied with a couple of friends when your eyes scanned the room to find a flash of yellow catch your eye. You found yourself staring at a man that looked like your friend, Thomas, except he wore a suit and had eyes that drew you in like a magnet. You felt your heart race slightly, your mind immediately recognizing the man as the same one that haunted your dreams months ago. The party seemed to slow down as you two gazed at each other, one with a sense of longing and the other with confusion and attraction. You were so entranced that you didn't see your friends leave you for another conversation. Your watched as the mysterious man slowly made his way towards you, never once breaking your eye contact. With taking one step, he snapped his fingers to pause the hectic scene entirely. As he drew closer and closer to you, your heart raced faster, unconsciously taking a few steps back until your back hit the wall. You finally lost your breath when he reached you, his body close to yours.
"Hello, (y/n)," he said intimately. Your breath caught in your throat. "Enjoying the party? Oh wait. Before you answer, I already know you're going to lie about it," he said, chuckling slightly and staring into your eyes. You couldn't find anything to say to him, too speechless at the intoxicating man in front of you. Every fiber of your body told you that he was someone you shouldn't trust, someone who was deceitful. "Listen to me, I don't have much time because Thomas will try to keep me hidden. But," he paused and took your hand gently. "I want to get to know you better. I can tell you're someone...different." He handed you a piece of paper that had Thomas' house address on it. "Meet me here in a week's time, (y/n)." He stared into your eyes, as if daring you to disobey him. "Or not. It's your choice." He finally let go of your hand, turning around to go back to his spot. He paused in the middle of the room of a paused party scene and turned his head back to look at you with a smirk, before he turned back and snapped his fingers. With a blink of an eye, he faded away into the shadows, and the party resumed normally.
You leaned against the wall and released the breath you've been holding back the entire time. You looked down at the paper he gave you and closed your eyes. You knew it may be dangerous to follow the mysterious man's instructions, but you'd be lying if you thought you didn't want to follow him. Crumpling the paper in your hands, you grabbed your jacket and left the party, uncharacteristically not saying a single goodbye.
