Hey guys,

As you may know by now, it's been three years in writing this book specifically. I've been honored to have people appreciate my book a lot, since I also enjoy sharing my thoughts and appreciation for the Sanders Sides concepts.

However, something needs to be said.

If you aren't a writer, let me clarify some things for you:

- Writers aren't perfect. You cannot expect them to know every single thing or information when writing something. Sometimes, people write for the fun of it, not looking back and realizing something may have been worded weirdly or sounded wrong.

- Please don't expect for writer's to cater to your needs and opinions all the time. While I am open to constructive criticism, I also can't please everyone and I know that (even if it makes me sad to accept it). I'm only one person and everyone has completely different and valid headcanons and opinions on each of these characters. I always do my best to cater to everyone, but just know that it's an extremely difficult thing to ask for your writers.

- It may be a surprise to y'all, but even in the span of one year, a writer's style can change drastically or mature in a different direction. In the span of 1 year, my writing changed from lighthearted to extremely dark and mature content (and I should probably put a 18+ warning in my book description at some point).

People change and mature, so please don't expect my old writings to be perfect. Not to mention, I wrote the first few writings three years ago and since then, many sanders sides videos have come out and invalidated or validated some of my headcanons for the characters.

For a while now, I was thinking of deleting my first few chapters. It was so cringy for me to read because I grew so much as a reader and a writer, so now I'm not really as attracted to the never ending cheesy fluff like I used to (but if people want some chapters that are such, you can always request stuff and I really don't mind a nice fluffy story!) So, naturally at the time, I would write things or word things differently that I would most definitely not do today.

However, I realize that I don't think one should delete one's body of work. I watched a Shane Dawson video with Kathy Griffin yesterday and she said something that really stuck with me. She said:

"People like us shouldn't erase our past. It's our body of work. Even if you said things or done things that are considered offensive to you at the present time, it's okay. It's important for everyone to see how much they've grown."

And as an artist and writer, I think it would be wrong to delete those chapters.

So while y'all are valid in putting your opinion in these chapters and just know that I will of course be open to comment on them, I'll take some of your words with a grain of salt.

I know that I've told y'all that I am open speaking with you guys and asking for input on things and that won't ever change because I believe in collaboration with my readers. But at some point, I also need to respect my own body of work and stick to it, even if people don't like it.

So I am proud of my writing now, just like I was in the past. And who knows, the next year my writing style will change drastically again too.
