Haylee's pov 

''im going to toris'' i said 

''why didn't you tell me earlier'' he said

''its just for a few day's'' i said and smiled and kissed his cheek.

''see you later'' i said and i got in and started my drive to the airport. 

I finally got there and paid for a ticket upfront and got on my flight. Here we go.

The flight was only 5 hours and thoses five hours were constant links in my head.

''where are you going'' tori linked 

''somewhere for only three days okay ill be back on thursday'' i linked 

''what the hell do we tell adrian because he's going crazy and wants to see you'' she linked

''tell him im picking up food or i don't know i mean you can tell him now cause im already so far gone so he don't know where i am.'' i linked 

After a few minutes tori came back.

''he didn't take the news so well he said stop blocking his links'' she linked and i sighed 

''HAYLEE WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!'' he yelled through the link.

''i need to visit someone okay can you chill'' i linked

''CHILL I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE AND WHAT IF YOU ARE NOT SAFE HAYLEE!'' he yelled 

''look im fine okay ill be back soon okay'' i linked and then i cut it off. 

I got off the plane and i called a taxi and i put my bags in and i went to a hotel. Checked in then unpacked my stuff and layed on my bed. 

How the hell am i gonna do this. I sat up and i grabbed my wallet and i went down and called a taxi and went to a car rental and got a car and drove to the address and i parked in front and i looked at the house. It was a nice little house it was cute. 

''okay i can do this'' i said and i got out and i knocked on the door and a women opened up.

''hi can i help you?'' she said and smiled 

''hi im looking for logan'' i said and smiled 

''oh are you one of his friends?'' she said and smiled back 

''actually um i need to talk to both of you'' i said 

''oh sure'' she said and smiled 

''come in'' she said and smiled and i walked in and we sat at a table.

''logan actually isn't here he's out with some friends.

''actually thats good cause i wanted to talk about something im not sure he knows about yet'' i said and her face became serious.

''my dad john baker'' i said and she put her hand to her mouth and she sighed.

''i can't help you'' she said 

''please maddie look i saw what yall went through okay i went through something similar just i didn't have a kid'' i said 

''look me and my family are in danger and somehow they know about logan and i came here in secret to make sure he's protected'' i said 

''wait john had a daughter but she died'' she said confused 

''i was kidnapped and growing up i heard that my real parents died when my parents were thinking the same about me and i don't have time to explain my whole life story i just i want to make sure logan is okay'' i said 

''he doesn't know yet'' she said and i nodded

''i have a way with words i can help him understand'' i said and i held her hand

''i can help you tell him'' i said 

''he knows about werewolves and stuff i mean of course he is one but i told him his father died'' she said 

''trust me ill understand what he's going through and how angry he will be'' i said 

''okay'' she said and someone opened the front door and walked into the kitchen and we stood up.

''hey logan'' maddie said 

''hey mom who's this?'' he said 

''we need to talk'' she said and sighed and we sat on the couch and i sat next to maddie as she explained what happened when she was young and had him. 

He was furious just as i was.

''how could you not tell me!'' he yelled and i stood up.

''look she didn't mean to hurt you'' i said and he stood up.

''and who are you i still dont know who the hell you are'' he said 

''im your half sister'' i said and he stood back.

''i know what this feeling feels like okay logan'' i said 

''you don't know what its like to be lied to your whole life'' he said and i grabbed his face and i shared my memories. When i was finished he had nothing to say. 

''they were taken away from me too but you are lucky to have at least one of them still here with you logan'' i said and i grabbed the ring out of my pocket.

''i killed my kidnappers mate when they tried to come after my mate and my best friend now they are coming for everyone cause i killed her mate i got these rings to protect the people i love'' i said 

''you don't know me'' he said 

''all i know is your family and thats more than enough for me'' i said

''what about my mom'' he said 

''i already have something to protect me'' she said and she held up her necklace that she wore.

''you wore it every day when you were a baby and it protected you'' she said and smiled 

''the thing is no one knows im here and its not gonna take our dad long enough to find out once he knows the files and letters are missing from his hiding place'' i said 

''thats how you found us'' she said and i nodded

''i told no one where i was some of them just know im gone and thats my mate my best friend and my brother'' i said 

''but they don't know you are in california'' maddie said and i nodded

''but once my dad sees the papers gone he will know and once one of them knows the people that want to hurt me they will know where i am so we don't have long to get you out of here'' i said 

''shit'' logan said 

''here'' i said and gave him his ring. 

''be safe okay'' i said and he nodded 

''i will you too'' he said and i got up and i opened the door and i felt something enter my stomach and i heard logan yell. I looked down and it was an arrow and he closed the door and layed me down and he pulled it out and i yelled. He put pressure and i growled and i broke my finger to trigger the healing and the cut went away. I put my ring on cause like a dumb ass i didn't have it on.

''we need to get out of here now'' i said and they nodded 

We walked outside and another arrow came at us but the force field shot it down. We ran to the car and i drove back to my hotel.

''i guess i can't stay here that long anymore'' i said and i threw all my stuff back in the bag and we ran back downstairs and threw my bag in the trunk and drove to the airport.

''we don't have anything'' logan said 

''its okay i can have someone get it for you'' i said and he nodded and we got on the plane and went back to alaska. 

So where do we go now that we are back at your place'' logan said 

''they don't know im back yet they still think they im gone so i don't know i didn't plan this far'' i said I thought for a bit and i had a plan.

''i know where to go'' i said and we got in my car and i drove to her.

''stay in the car real quick'' i said 

''what's that smell'' logan said 

''the smell of witches'' i said and smiled and he widened his eyes and i got out and closed the door.

''i sure am doing alot of favors.'' she said 

''you are lucky i like you'' she said and i smiled 

''please i don't want them to get hurt i need them in a cabin but it needs to be cloaked'' i said and she nodded 

''the cabin adrian took you to when you first met will be cloaked'' she said and i nodded and i got in and i drove there.

''you should be safe here'' i said 

''how do you know'' logan said 

''because its cloaked with magic'' i said and he nodded 

We walked in and i saw adrian with jared.

''oh shit'' i said
