Skylars pov.
I sat there next to Ruby. Tears streamed down my eyes.

I looked to make sure no one was here watching. I took out my phone and texted my 'friend'.

Change in plans. To need to get here.
Now.

'Why?'

Because my friend is dying and we need to make sure she is alive. She is crucial to the plan!

'Okay, okay. Give us a few.'

I put my phone down and tended to Ruby. The large wound on her side was bleeding heavily.

"Cmon Ruby. They will be here soon. Please don't die." I choked.

I yanked off my sleeve and applied pressure to the wound. She didn't have much time. They need to get here.

About 10 minutes went by of me just trying to keep her alive. Then, there were alert sirens.

I smiled. "They're here."

Soon the door opened and he came in.

He looked at me. "You okay?"

"I'm fine, Zach. But Ruby isnt. she needs to get out of here."

"You prepared to fight?"

I nodded

"Let's go."

We stepped out into the halls and it was surprisingly empty.

We ran and ran until we were stopped by an older worker.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Out of this hell hole."

His fist flew at my face, but Zach pulled out a taxer and razed him.

We ran out and got in his car.

I looked at Ruby. She was pale and cold. "She needs help, now."
