(Melody's pov)
We were all with naruto to defeat the tails beast. WE WILL DEFEAT IT!! I was standing next to Neji and Hinata as we were looking after naruto.
"Watch out!!" I screamed out to my brother,naruto, as the tails strikes at him and he barely missed it. We were getting so far and we would defeat it.
"MELODY!!!!" My brother screamed. I was confused but then I felt something stab into my shoulder as I screamed in pain and fell to the ground.
"Melody!!" My brother yelled as he ran over to me,"MEDICS, HELP WE NEED MEDICS!!" He screamed.
As naruto was distracted over me I saw the tails shooting out more sharp stick like things and I screamed,"NARUTO WATCH OUT THERES MORE!!!" Naruto curled his body over mine and we waited the worst, then I heard a body hit the floor and saw Neji on the ground with two of those stick things in his stomach. I was.. I could hardly breath. I slowly started to move to him, despite the pain in my shoulder and I held him close to me as I cried.

"WHY!?? Why would you sacrifice yourself for us!?" I yelled and questioned him.
"Naruto..you called me a genius...cough....that's why...melody..you taught me love...I..Lo..Ve..you." He said weakly,"now I am no longer caged. Now I am free as a bird...goodbye love" he said as I cried and kissed him softly and he fell to his side. Cold and lifeless, I shut his eyes and weakly stared at the ground. I could hear Hinata put naruto back on his feet and I felt his hand on my shoulder but I was long gone. Tears silently ran down my face as I stood up, looked at Neji and remembered what he told me before this war happened.
Flashback
"Melody listen I need you to know that yes naruto has the 9 tails in him but you also have a tails beast in you. The 12 tails wolf, and for it to activate someone dear to you must be sacrificed and it will activate and also I love.." He was cut off as we started this war. Me being very shocked.
End of flashback

I could feel a power surge through me as the 12 tails was activating and I could also feel the presence of a certain uchiha that was back. My eyes went a dark purple and black as the fight actually began.

Time skip after the fight cause I lazy

I was curled up under the stars in the grass as I cried silently as I still remember clearly when Neji died. Suddenly I felt a presence and looked everywhere and there standing was a ghostly figure of Neji. He gave me one last wave before he disappeared and I felt better knowing he was watching Over me and I went back to naruto who offered me some ramen. As I ate I quietly whispered "your free like a bird. I love you."
