"Mani calm down. We're going to find her, it's okay" Lauren tried assuring the girl as they stepped out of H&M. The girl wasn't in the first three stores they checked and Normani's nerves were getting worse.

"Lo, I don't know what I'd do if somebody took her. What if she accidentally took something she liked and the cops got to her ?"

"Normani"

"Or she tripped down the escalators"

"Normani"

"Or worse !" Normani gasped at the thought, "Some guy got a hold of her. Oh no. Nobody is hurting my baby !"

"NORMANI !"

The dancer hadn't realized Lauren had been trying to get attention the whole time. She embarrassedly rubbed her hands together.

"Your phone is buzzing like crazy. I suggest you answer it"

The girl searched rapidly through her handbag for the device. Once she grabbed a hold of it, she saw multiple texts from a group chat appear.

Mila 😝🍌- We searched about four stores. No sign of her

DJ 💃🏾- I saw a sign

Mila😝🍌- YOU DID???

DJ💃🏾- Yup. There was a buy-one-get-one sign in front of Zumiez 😍. You know that's rare.

Mila😝🍌- Dinah, Zumiez is upstairs what the hell!! 😑 We're supposed to be checking downstairs

DJ💃🏾- Oops ? 😬

Normani frantically sent a message to the chat, earning multiple responses back.

Queen 👑✨- Dinah Jane. If I see you in that Zumiez, I'm choking the hell out of you

DJ 💃🏾- I'd rather you not tbh ☝🏽

Lo 😑💕- Dinah stop being difficult. Just go check downstairs with Camz

DJ 💃🏾- Fine 😑

DJ 💃🏾- But if we find her and I come back to that cute jersey not being on the rack. Everyone's getting a Poly beat down 💥

Normani sighed before throwing her phone back in her bag, catching Lauren by surprise.

"Mani, we'll find her," Normani nodded softly, "Now come on. Let's check Forever 21"

This place was huge. Scratch that, to the Mexican girl, this place was massive. There were so many bright stores, the girl didn't know what to choose from. Even though she couldn't understand all the jumbly scribbles on top of the store entrance, she knew they were something important. All of them were all dazzling with different ways of grabbing the attention. One specific one had caught Ally's attention.

As she walked through the entrance, she was greeted by a girl a lot taller than her. Her hair pulled back in a bun and her very nice looking shoes upon her feet.

"Hi welcome to DTLR."

"Hi, I'm Ally" The girl chirped. The employee smiled at the smaller girl.

"My name's Zendaya. How may I help you today ?"

"I don't know. I don't need any help," The smaller girl scratched her chin before looking up at the mixed girl, "Do you need any help ?"

Zendaya laughed and patted the girl's shoulder, "You know Ally, you're the first person to ask me that"

"Why ? Everybody needs help sometimes" Ally's lips turned into its usual deep in thought pout causing Zendaya to laugh once again.

"We all truly do. I needed help getting money and this job helped me with that matter. Even though it's not doing much, it does help"

"So this job is nice ?"

"I guess you can say so"

"You're not smiling though. So I guess it's not all good. Smiles mean you're happy and you don't look happy"

Zendaya had never thought she'd physically looked that way. She thought she was good at hiding it but this girl somehow saw right through it.

She wrapped an arm around Ally's shoulder and sighed, "You know what Ally ? You're right, I'm not all that happy. But you," She nudged her nose, the girl giggling in response, "Just made me a bit happier."

Ally's face glowed in pride knowing she made another person happy. She'd always liked seeing people happy. That was the reason why she was so hesitant on what to do around Normani. Her heart literally shattered into two when Normani didn't want anything to do with her when she turned back into a human.

Zendaya noticed the girl's whole attitude flop into a gloomy one. She nudged the Mexican's cheek, "What's wrong ?"

"I made Normani sad"

"Normani ? I'm guessing she's someone close to you"

"Yeah," The smaller girl sniffled remembering how Normani had scolded her, "She doesn't love me anymore"

"Aww, now who can't love you ? You're adorable Ally !" Ally blushed at the compliment, "Come on. Don't cry. I don't like seeing people cry"

"Me either" Ally responded softly.

"Well why don't you help me by stopping the tears from falling ? I'd really love to see that pretty smile"

Ally couldn't help but smile at the girl. She liked Zendaya, she was nice and smelled nice too. But her admiration was cut short but her stomach grumbling loudly.

Zendaya threw her head back in laughter at the sound, "Well sounds like someone needs to help their stomach"

Ally nodded sheepishly.

"Well look. I get off in," She looked down at her Rolex, "Five minutes. If you sit right there and wait for me, we can go get something to eat in the food court. How does that sound ?"

Ally was about to respond but her stomach rumbled once again. Both girls laughing this time.

"I'm guessing your stomach said yes," Zendaya took off the keychain around her neck and began walking towards the back of the store, "Wait there for me, okay Ally ?"

The short girl nodded and obediently sat down on the bench. The feeling of her skin touch the cold metal made her flinch. Camila had put her in some of her clothes. Even through her protests of liking the big shirt and underwear she was wearing, the Cuban had forced Ally into a Twenty One Pilots t-shirt, some shorts, and some flip flops. The attire was simple but Ally didn't like the way it looked on her. Maybe when she finds Normani, she can get some clothes she wanted.

"Alright come on Ally," Zendaya nudged her to follow her. She had on new attire this time. She had changed from the ugly uniform to a jean jacket, black shirt, black leggings, and a backwards hat, "The food court is this way"

Ally looked up to see a sign that read food, she remembered that word because Camila had made the same letters with her hands while they were cooking.

"Ooh ! I know where it is. Come on Zendaya !" Ally grabbed a hold of the girl's hand and scurried towards the food court. Not before the taller girl bumped shoulders with another girl on accident.

Zendaya looked over her shoulder and gave the girl an apologetic smile and tried running up to keep up with the small girl. Wow, she must really be excited about food.

"Come on Mila please ! We've been to nearly all the stores here. Can I at least shop in one store ?"

"No Dinah, Jesus ! Stop worrying about your damn shoes and look for Ally"

Camila felt the anxiety take over herself. She and Normani had just found Ally two days ago and now lost her. Anything could be happening to the poor girl and it was her fault.

"Look. If you want to find her then just look for a sig- OOMF" Dinah was cut off mid-sentence by someone running into her shoulder. She was four to five seconds from wildin' on them but stopped when she saw the girl's face. Damn was she attractive even in her boyish attire. But she didn't get to see much more of her as she hurried somewhere else.

"Hello lesbian !" The Polynesian was about to make her way towards the girl but was stopped by Camila yanking her back.

"Hello lesbian couple. You saw her being practically dragged by that girl. I wouldn't be surprised if they were rushing to the car or something" Camila ran her fingers through her hair before sending a message out to the group chat.

Banana Mami 🍌- No sign of Ally down here. You guys?

Planet Green Eyes👀💚- No.

Miss Mani 💁🏾- No I'm not

CheeChee😻- Mani I can hear you hyperventilating from here

Miss Mani💁🏾- Dinah I s2g when I see you, we are fighting

Camila sighed before grabbing Dinah by the arm. They couldn't waste anymore time. They had to find Ally.

"Wait ! But I don't understand"

Zendaya laughed once again at the smaller girl, "Ally, I'm telling you. Panda Express doesn't actually have pandas. They just sell food"

"But then they're lying !"

Both girls were debating on the topic of restaurants with animal names. They decided to get their food to go and walk around the mall. Zendaya was munching on Loi Mein while Ally had just finished her orange chicken.

"Ally the place advertises Chinese food. Not pandas"

Ally pouted angrily, "Then I'm guessing Sweet Frog doesn't sell frogs"

"Nope, ice cream"

Ally groaned in disbelief while Zendaya continued to laugh. This girl was something else. She'd never met someone like Ally, she brightened her day.

The mixed girl threw away her trash and wiped her hands on a napkin, "So Ally ? Where do you want to go ?"

"I don't know. I've never been here before" Ally still gawked at how big the place was. It would take forever for her and Zendaya to go places.

"Well, what's your budget ? Do you have any money ?"

Ally furrowed her eyebrows, "Money ?"

"Money. You know, that green paper stuff"

The Mexican girl rummaged through the jeans pockets until she found something similar to what Zendaya was describing, "This ?"

"Yeah that's it. Here let's see how much you have"

So this was money. She had no complete idea what until it Zendaya told her. When Normani was getting a phone call, she absentmindedly shoved it into Ally's hand to hold and walked off to hear the caller. Ally remained obedient and held it for her but mindlessly walked over to the nearby vending machine, loving how big and bright it was. Once she came back from staring at it, all four girls were gone. She just shrugged it off and continued to look around the mall.

"Well here you have $35. It's not much to go shopping with but we can make it work" Zendaya winked at the girl playfully as she linked their arms together, "Time to go shopping Ally !"

All four girls had no luck in finding the smaller girl. They'd all met up in the middle of the mall with no luck. Normani was on the verge of tears. She'd lost Ally. She'd lost her little Ally.

"Look, we can ask the mall security, see if they'd seen her" Lauren tried getting Normani to listen to her reasoning but nothing was getting to the brown skin girl.

Dinah came over and rubbed the girl's back soothingly, "Mani, maybe we can all go around together one more time. Please don't break down. We're going to find her. That's for sure"

"I-I just don't want to imagine what she's going through right now. She's probably hungry and lonely"

"Actually, that's quite the opposite" Camila commented causing everyone to look in her direction. There was the little Mexican laughing with a taller girl, both of them strolling together. Ally somehow had a snapback on, backwards just like the other girl, and a grey Justin Timberlake shirt while holding a cup.

"Oh my God, Ally do it one more time. One more time please !" Zendaya pleaded out through her hysterical laughing fit.

"This is who we are. I can't believe he was disrespecting us" The girl imitated in a Hispanic accent. Both girls busted out laughing once again for the hundredth time that minute.

When they were inside Spencer's a Hispanic woman threw a fit at one of the employees unintentionally saying a racist comment. She'd shouted out that line and Ally almost instantaneously repeated it once they'd left the store. Zendaya was nearly in tears at the girl's on point imitation.

"OH MY GOD ALLY !!" Normani leaped up from the bench she was seated on and charged towards the girl. She shoved Zendaya out of the way to engulf Ally in a bone crushing hug.

"Ally oh my God," Normani pulled the two apart from their hug and stared down into the girl's eyes, "Don't you ever leave me like that again. I was so worried and I thought something bad happened to you and- Oh my God" The tears streamed down Normani's chocolate eyes as she pulled the girl back into a hug. Ally was okay, Ally was okay !

Zendaya coughed as she held the spot where Normani pushed her, "Wow. Thanks. I'm cool. No, you probably didn't just dislocate my esophagus. No. I'm cool"

"You !" Normani held Ally tighter to her chest as she pointed a finger at the taller girl's chest, "What did you do to my Ally ?"

"Nothing ! Her and I just ate some lunch and shopped around. She bought herself a hat and a shirt"

"She bought stuff ? With what money ?"

"I don't know. She said somebody named Normani shoved it into her hands"

Normani blinked, trying to remember when she'd given Ally money. How dumb could she be to give her money ? She could've lost it and money was really valuable at this time.

"Mani, stop running away of we'll have to find a search party for you too- Well hello, who are you ?" Dinah and the rest of the girl's walked up to the scene after spending some time trying to find the dark skin girl. Once her eyes came into contact with Zendaya's, a knowing smirk spread across her face.

"My name's Zendaya. And yours ?"

"My name is-"

"Not the time !" Camila ran her way through the two girls and joined in the Ally hug. God they found the little thing !

Camila snuggled her cheek on top of Ally's head, "Ally we were so worried. We looked all over the place for you !! You nearly sent Normani into cardiac arrest"

"I-I'm sorry Normani. I'm sorry Camila"

"Ya damn skippy you should be sorry ! I didn't get to go into any stores and shop because of you Pup" Dinah crossed her arms, causing Zendaya to laugh lowly at the sight.

Lauren slapped Dinah's shoulder, "We weren't here for you in the first place !"

"Keep slapping my shoulder Lauren. See what happens ! I know where you live !"

Both girls started bickering once again, nearly fighting in the middle of the mall. Zendaya and Camila both had to pull her girls apart from each other before it got even more serious.

"Come on. Let's go home guys. It's been a long day" Normani started as she began to walk away, Ally still wrapped in her embrace.

"W-wait," Ally pried herself out of Normani's embrace and ran to give Zendaya a hug, "When will I see you again ?"

Zendaya patted the girl's head, "You know where I work. You can always stop by"

"But your work is no fun"

Dinah leaped up in the middle of their conversation, "You can always call me. I live with her, so maybe one day you could come over"

Camila was about to protest but Dinah silenced her with a nudge to the side. She smiled sweetly as she came up to Zendaya with her phone. The mixed girl couldn't help but laugh, Ally surely had some pretty entertaining friends. Emphasis on the pretty.

"Bye Zendaya !" Ally waved as she ran to keep up with the four girls.

Zendaya smiled heartedly and waved back at the sweet girl. She hoped that that wasn't the last time she would see the innocent girl.

"Normani ?"

Normani grumbled lowly as she swatted away the culprit trying to take her good hours of sleep away from her.

"Normani ?"

The Texan blinked her eyes open to be greeted by a pleading pair of caramel eyes. Ally had her hair in a bun (courtesy of Camila) and a big shirt on. She held onto herself for dear life.

"Hmm, Ally ?" She rubbed her eyes in confusion.

"Can I sleep with you please ?"

"Why ? What's wrong with the spare room ?"

"I-It's-" The poor girl was cut off by the loud booming of thunder scaring her half to death. Without waiting for an answer, Ally leaped onto the bed. Wrapping her arms around Normani and digging her face deep in her chest.

"You don't like thunder ?"

Ally shook her head and wrapped her arms tighter around Normani. The only time she felt safe was with Normani, the girl had a protecting nature to Ally.

Normani sighed before slumping back into the bed. She quietly hummed a song to relax the girl as she ran her fingers through her hair. In a matter of minutes, she heard the soft snores of Ally fill the room. She smiled to herself at Ally's childish demeanor.

Soon she herself fell asleep to the steady sound of Ally's breathing.

Camila scratched her side tiredly as she wobbled her way towards the bathroom. As she pushed the door open she could see a tiny crack of Normani's room open.

There her eyes met the sight of Ally snuggling into Normani's front as Normani had her arms protectively around the Mexican's waist. The whole sight in itself could make anyone's heart explode of cuteness.

She hurriedly wobbled back to her room to get her phone (nearly tripping in the process). Once she had the device she hurried back and snapped multiple photos of the pair. With multiple finger strokes and curses at her autocorrect being a nuisance, she posted the sweet photo captioned:
