"I'm suppose to sit with you guys too?" I asked Billie as I walked down the hall with him, holding his hand as we made our way to the cafeteria.

"This was in the paper!"

"I didn't read that thing it was all poor handwriting,"

"Well you should have because yes Birdie you have to sit with me and my two friends at dinner," He whispered as we walked into the cafeteria. I sighed, I didn't exactly have much of an argument to offer since I did technically agree to the paper.

I looked around the cafeteria at Eden and Coby who looked over at me, Eden waved as I let go of Billies hand and gave her a guilty wave back... before turning around and walking the opposite way to Billie Joe's table where Mike and Tre already were.

Eden knew the relationship was fake, I'm sure she would have told Coby, who right now must be very confused. But at least I know they wont tell anyone else... just sorta probably angry at me right now for not sitting with them.

Billie sat down at the table as Mike and Tre greeted me, asking me about Billies and my 'Relationship', which was kinda awkward. Billie tapped the seat next to him as i sat down instead of just awkwardly standing behind him. I guess I was gonna have to start getting use to this for however long it lasts.

"I never thought about you two together," Mike said out loud with a mouth full of food, half way through his pizza slice as Billie nervously laughed.

They obviously didn't know it was fake, for whatever reason Billie had chose for them to believe its real. So i laughed too before nervously saying. "Yeah... me either,"

"Eden must hate you," Tre added.

"Who me?" Billie asked.

"Both of you,"

"Yeah..." I slowly chuckled. "Its kinda awkward I guess,"

"Who asked who?"

"Huh?" Billie and I said together looking over at Mike.

"Who asked who out? Y'know? I never saw this relationship coming- who asked who?"

"Erm..." I looked over at Billie who was also slightly panicking. I guess we didn't think about our answers to these sorts of questions either.

"I... I asked Birdie?" Billie finally said. Earning a 'are you sure?' look from Tre and Mike since his sentence came out more of a question than an answer with the lack of confidence.

"The first dinner will be the most awkward I promise it wont be that bad," Billie chuckled as he walked me to my last class of the day, holding my hand in one and my textbooks in the other.

I wonder if he really would be this good of a boyfriend, or if he was doing all these extra gestures for the show.

"Yeah... it was pretty awkward," I laughed slightly as he joined in.

"Awww look at you two!" A voice said as I looked on the other side of me, a class mate from my art class who I was actually quite good friends with,  jogging beside me.

"Hi Lauren," I nervously greeted as she continued to smile.

"How long have you guys been together for?"

"Oh, well erm-" Another voice cut Billie off as someone else joined into the conversation. A boy who usually lets me copy his homework in science class, Bradley.

"Wow you guys a thing!? Aren't you best friends with his sister?" He asked me as I felt my nerves quickly rise. I noticed as few more people turned and walked with us waiting for my answer.

There weren't many eyes on me. But few felt like million when I was under pressure.

"Ermm.." I slowly drifted off as Billie looked down at me. I couldn't tell if he was waiting for my answer too or what.

"Are you alright?" Lauren asked as I felt Billie squeeze my hand.

"Shes fine, Look here's your class." Billie quickly said shutting them down as he spun me around with the hand he was holding to face me. I looked up a him nervously as I realized everyone else had already said goodbye and carried on walking. "You don't look so good,"

"Thanks,"

"No- no not like that you look great- no, I mean- are you alright?"

"I don't deal well under pressure I guess,"

"I'll remember that don't worry. Look go into class before you're late. I'll wait outside for you after class is over. Just take deep breaths okay?"

I nodded, smiling slightly as he smiled back before repeating. "Deep breaths.. got it. Okay,"

"Alright, Here's your books," He passed me back my three textbooks he kept under his arms after letting go of my hand as I took them. "See you later Birdie," He lifted his hand up tapping the end of my nose as I twitched slightly, causing him to chuckle under his breath at my reaction before I gave him another half smile.

"You too Billie, try not to get into any trouble,"

"No promises!" He shouted as he walked down the hall.

He walked away waving to me as I giggled slightly before walking into class.

There were many things I hated about this scenario I was in. But maybe what I hated the most was the fact that I was wrong. Billie isn't much of an asshole as I thought he was.

I took my seat on my table as the teacher began to write on the white board. Opening my books as I tried to listen, but failed thinking.

I actually hated that I didn't hate his company. I kinda sorta maybe enjoyed hanging around with him. He was nice to be around. He was a good fake boyfriend. But realizing how much of an asshole he wasn't completely didn't mean anything. I still didn't like him, I still saw him as a friend, I was still waiting for this to end. But maybe... it wouldn't be so bad as I thought it would be.

Him holding my hand, walking and waiting for me after classes, holding my books, sitting with him, it wasn't all that bad.

After class, which felt like a drag, as i was packing up I saw Billies face through the window of the door. He was looking down, probably on his phone, waiting for me. I laughed slightly, for some reason, as I saw him before closing my final book and adding in to the top of the book pile. I slung my bag around my shoulder looking back up as Billie looked at me, a huge grin on his face as he waved through the window.

I giggled under my breath putting my other arm through the bag strap. I picked up my books before walking out the classroom where he with out question took the books.

"How was class?" He asked as we began to walk through school together.

"Boring, you?"

"Shit, I got screamed at for accidentally flinging my pen across the classroom,"

"Accidentally?"

"Yeah! It wasn't suppose to do that- I was messing with it in my hand and it just- fling! Went,"

We made it to his car as I noticed Eden standing, leaning on it, waiting for Billie to unlock the car. She stared at me obviously annoyed with me as I tried to dodge looking over at her. Billie unlocked the car as she finally looked away to climb in the front. But then continued.

A lump rose up in my throat as I looked over at Billie. "I'll probably.. go home tonight," I muttered to him as he looked down at me confused.

"Why? Want me to give you a ride home?"

"No that's okay... I'll walk,"

"Why? Are you alright?" He looked over at Eden before realizing. "Ohhh, oh. Yeah- yeah that's fine. ere are your books and shit," He said passing me them back as I took them in my hand and thanked him. "Text me when your back home so I know you got there safely okay?"

"I will I will,"

"Alright,"

I scrunched up my eyes preparing as I felt a tap/flick on the end of my nose. Before opening them and laughing slightly.

"See you Beej,"

"Bye Birdie," He chuckled opening the car door and climbing in.

I began to walk home as I thought about the deadly look Eden was giving me. God she looked mad.

Thinking about it now, I probably only made the tension worse by avoiding her. I didn't wanna go back to her house and feel awkward all night or get lectured. But now I was dodging her which certainly would have made her more angry.

But I told her this. I told her I had to do this, she said as long as it was fake. I guess she just never anticipated that I would have to be holding his hand around the halls, sitting with him at lunch and not with her and Coby and mostly, not hating it.
