A few weeks had passed since Pippy and I had become a Rescue Team. I ended up naming our Rescue Team, Team Soul. We left Harvest Town and said goodbye to all our friends from school. Everyone was there to see us off except Riolu which was understandable. For the past two weeks, we had been traveling with Zeraora to Pleasant Town, where Zeraora's guild was located. 

"Man, I can't believe we're finally a Rescue Team, (Y/N). After all this time my dream has finally come true..." Pippy smiled. "And the best part is that I'm fulfilling my dream with my best friend!" 'I'm really happy for you Pippy. I won't let you down. I promise I'll work really hard.' "Thanks, (Y/N), you're the best."

"Pippy, (Y/N)! We will be arriving in Pleasant Town at any moment." Zeraora called back to us. "This is so exciting I can't wait to meet the other Rescue Teams! Do you think they'll approve of us?" Pippy fretted. 'Stop worrying,' I reassured. 'I'm sure everything will be fine.'

Just as I finished walking we entered Pleasant Town. "Welcome to my home. I'm sure you will want to explore, so I'll leave you to it, but report back to the guild before nightfall." Zeraora pointed to a structure, on top of a hill,  that looked like an old tree that had been converted into a house. "That is where the guild is." "Thanks, Zeraora!" Pippy called before dragging me away. "Let's explore! Come one, Come on!"

As I followed Pippy, I looked around. Pokemon were everywhere, running in and out of buildings, buying things, or even just talking with anyone they passed. Everyone was just soo happy and pleasant. Maybe that's where their town's name came from.

"Look (Y/N)!" Pippy said dragging me out of my thoughts. "This shop sells items for Rescue Teams! We'll have to remember this place so we can buy things later after we get paid." The store was shaped like a Wigglytuff's head and inside of the stall was a happy Wigglytuff and a Chatot.

"Are you new here?" asked Wigglytuff. "Of course you are. I've never seen your faces around before. You must be Zeraora's new Rescue Team. Please take these Oran Berries as a gift from me."  "Thank you Mr. Wigglytuff!" Pippy and I said in unison. I took the berries from Wigglytuff and put them into our Rescue Team Bag.

"You are very lucky to have been given these items for free by Former-Guild Master Wigglytuff. Be grateful and don't expect any more free items. If you want more you'll have to pay for them." Chatot said definitely. "Or you can give me Perfect Apples. Perfect Apples are always welcomed." Wigglytuff added. "Or Perfect Apples..." Chatot sighed.

I looked up in the sky to see that the sun was close to setting. The sun was setting... 'Ack! Pippy, we have to get back to the guild before nightfall remember!' "I totally forgot! Come on, (Y/N), we have to get back to the guild quickly!" We raced through the streets heading for the tree-like guild. 

When we got to the top we burst through the guild doors. "Sorry, we're late!" Pippy said gasping for air. "Hey, calm down. Geez, are you guys the new recruits? The way you guys came barging in here anyone would have thought you were Pokemon in distress." 'Sorry,' I said looking up to see a green and brown Pokemon. 

"No problem. I was just kidding. By the way, my name is Chespin." Chespin waved two other Pokemon over to him. "These are my teammates, Snivy and Turtwig. We're Team Meadow and I'm the leader of our group. What's your team name and which one of you is the leader?"

'Um,' I started hesitantly. 'We're Team Soul and our leader is um...' "(Y/N)!" Pippy finished for me. 'What? I thought for sure you'd want to be the leader of our team.' "Nope. Besides you're a much better leader already than I'd ever be." 'Thanks, Pippy, I'll try not to let you down.'

"(Y/N) and Pippy? You guys have strange names." Chespin said tilting his head. "Well, Pippy is my nickname and (Y/N) is (Y/N)'s real name." Chespin, Snivy, and Turtwig stared at me like I had been poisoned, but was walking around like everything was fine. 'Maybe I should just change my name to Charmander," I thought.

"Pippy, (Y/N), there you are. I see you have already met Team Meadow, that's great. I would like to introduce you to the other Rescue Teams, so if you will please follow me to the Eating Room." We followed Zeraora down to the Eating Room with Team Meadow following close behind.

We entered the room and inside were two more teams with three members each. 'I think our team might be a bit undersized,' I whispered to Pippy. "It doesn't matter! We'll just work twice as hard and show them all what we're made of." Pippy said determinedly.

A blue Pokemon walked up to us first with a yellow and a reddish Pokemon following her. "My name is Vaporeon and these are my brothers Jolteon and Flareon. Our team is called Team Element. Welcome to Zeraora's guild." Jolteon and Flareon nodded in approval of us and we smiled back. 

The other team walked up to us. "I'm Scizor the leader of Team Speed. These two to my right and left are my best friends, Ninjask and Zebstrika."

Pippy and I looked at each other and nodded. 'I'm, (Y/N), the leader!' "And I'm, Pippy, (Y/N)'s best friend!" shifted so we were back to back then yelled in unison. "And together we're Team Soul!"Everyone laughed at us in a friendly way. Pippy and I joined in on the laughter. We all ate dinner in the Eating Room, talking and laughing the whole time. Around midnight we all went to bed.

"This is going to be your room from now on. My Team's room is just down the hall so call me if you have any problems, ok?" Snivy said showing us our new room. "Thanks, Snivy," Pippy said.

We were so tired after tonight's event that we crawled straight into our leaf beds. "Goodnight, (Y/N)." 'Yeah, goodnight," I said in response. As soon as my head hit the leaves I was asleep.

"(Y/N)! What are you doing? Stop wasting time! The Evil One draws closer to fulfilling his goal. You must protect the Spirits of the Soul before the Evil One Captures them all. One has already fallen. The end draws near! You and Pippy must stop the Evil One Before he awakens the Two Great Powers of Time and Space! Hurry!"

I jumped awake shivering. What was that? Oh yeah. The reason Pippy and I joined the Rescue Team in the first place. I looked over at Pippy. 'I'm sorry Pippy but your dream is going to have to be postponed for a little while longer. We still have a Destiny to complete.' I stared out our window into the stary night. 'Why? Why did you pick me?' I whispered.

Hi. I'm back. I'm sorry that I've been neglecting this story. I feel bad and I just want to thank you all so much for sticking with me. I made this chapter longer than usual to try and make up for neglection. I promise you guys that I will finish this sorry no matter what and I will try to update faster.
