Thank you for using

Your precious time for teaching

Thank you for giving

A few new lessons and learnings

Thank you for living

Because I know our schooling

Would never have been interesting

Without you breathing

I now apologize

For the stress we give

But through it all, you still strive

And that is simply why, I'm glad you're alive

Thank you for everything

And some things you do, may seem like nothing

But let me tell you something

To me, it wasn't just anything

These are the reasons why

The best is all I try

For you are simply

One of the people, who I wouldn't want to cry

Is there anything left to say

But Happy Teacher's Day
