Kela and Juliann held each other's hands as they stepped through the front doors of the hotel. They tried to remember the apartment details from their short time with Christoffer Jessen, they tried to make themselves sound confident in their answer, they tried to convince themselves they could go through with this.

"Hi, We're here to see Mr Jessen." Juliann tried to sound confident in her sentence as she looked at the hotel staff member at reception.

The hotel staff member looked at the two woman "Sorry, no one here by that name."

Kela looked at her girlfriend before looking at the hotel staff member "Are you sure? We were here with him, about two days ago."

"Sorry, But there is no Mr Jessen here." The hotel staff member remained calm as he watched the two woman, he waited for them to lash out to him, but they didn't instead Kela, and Juliann silently walked away defeated.

"We could wait?" Juliann asked.

Kela shook her head "No point." She rubbed her thumb along the back of Juliann's hand "I know you wanted this, Juliann but..."

"I know. It's okay. I still have you." She smiled at her girlfriend before kissing her cheek.

The two woman began to make their way out of the hotel.

Kela almost felt sorry for her girlfriend, she knew Juliann had high expectations when it came to men, she knew Juliann had fantasy about famous men and knew her girlfriend would do almost anything to find a spark with her hall pass.

Juliann felt a sting in her heart, she loved Kela and had loved Kela for ten years but in the moment she felt torn, she felt torn between the woman who truly loved her and a man she would give everything up for.

"Ladies." His voice interrupted their thoughts.

Juliann stopped in her tracks as she looked up at the man she idolised, she tried but failed to hide her smile.

Kela took notice of her girlfriend's reaction, she tried to remain strong. She knew this was going to make or break their relationship.

Juliann stared up into Christoffer's eyes, feeling lost in his hazel eyes.

"What do we owe the pleasure of seeing the two of you again?" Christoffer knew he had Juliann hook, line and sinker.

Jared stopped by his boss's side as he watched the interaction. He noticed Kela's expression, he had seen that expression time and time again. He tried to hide behind his poker face, it wasn't his fault that his boss knew how to sweep everyone off their feet.

"We'd like to take up your offer." Julianna accidentally seemed too eager as she spoke.

Kela gripped Juliann's hand tight, Juliann looked at her girlfriend.

Christoffer and Jared watched, they knew those looks. They had seen those looks enough time to know.

"Are you sure?" Jared asked, he knew what the answer would be, it'd always be the same answer.

Kela broke her gaze from Juliann, she looked at Jared than at Christoffer. She could feel her heart shatter inside her chest as she spoke "Yes."

Juliann chewed down on her lower lip as she tried to hide her excitement.

"We'll let's go upstairs and have a chat." Christoffer reached his hand out towards Juliann.

Kela felt Juliann's hand slip out of her's, she watched as Juliann slipped her hand into Christoffer's.

Jared and Kela watched as Christoffer lead Juliann towards the elevators.

"Just think of the money." Jared let his words slip out.

Kela stared at his side profile before watching him follow his boss and her girlfriend.
