Josh scrolled through his phone as he walked to the restaurant. He sent a last minute text to Audrey, which consisted of him complaining and telling her to wish him luck. Pocketing his phone, Josh entered the fancy-looking restaurant and was instantly uncomfortable. He hadn't bothered to put anything particularly expensive, just some skinny jeans and a shirt. He stuck out, just as much as he did at Joseph Enterprises.
He went up to the standing woman there, smiling a little.
"Ah, you must be Josh!" The woman said, and Josh's smile faltered. "Mr. Joseph asked for you personally." She explained.
"Oh. Um, yeah. That's me." Josh said awkwardly.
"Splendid. Come along," the woman grabbed a menu and motioned for Josh to follow her.
As Josh followed, his nerves suddenly increased. He was about to spend an evening with one of the most famous and richest men in the world when he could've spent it on a piece. It was too late to turn back now, though, for the woman told Josh to sit.
"Mr. Joseph will be here in a minute," the woman handed Josh the menu and then walked back to her position.
Instantly, Josh took out his phone.

Almost instantly, Audrey answered.

Josh didn't get to respond, for he suddenly heard a voice right by him.
"Hello, Josh." Tyler murmured.
"Um, hi." Josh mumbled, pushing his chair aside a little to put space between him and the brunette. "I didn't s-see you there."
Tyler sat down, small smile on his face. "I can be a sneaky guy. Have you ordered yet?"
Josh realized he hadn't even looked at the menu. "Uh, no, not yet."
"Don't try the black cod. It's not prepared well enough. I'd go for the Papparedelle."
Josh blinked, unsure of what to say. "Oh, okay. Maybe you should just order for me."
Soon enough, the waitress came around and took their orders. Josh began to rub his thumb over the back of his phone case in circles, to calm his racing heart down. Tyler watched the movement for a little before leaning back.
"So, Josh, tell me about yourself." Tyler said.
Josh rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Um, well...I'm Joshua Dun. I like cats. A lot. I have been best friends with my roommate Audrey ever since I can remember. We've only been roommates for like six years though. I also like to paint."
Tyler soaked the information up, eyes glued to Josh. He seemed almost...fascinated, for some inane reason Josh couldn't fathom. He was pretty boring, in his eyes.
"Paint, eh?" The corners of Tyler's lips quirked up. "Would you 'draw me like one of your French girls', Josh?" He said in a husky voice.
Josh groaned, covering his face with his hands bashfully. "I always get that answer. First of all, I paint. I don't draw."
Tyler laughed softly. "Same difference." After a few moments of silence, Tyler spoke up again. "What about relationships?"
Josh frowned. "Uh, I've had a few girlfriends before. Only one serious though."
"Sexuality?" Tyler asked.
"Bisexual." Josh responded slowly, a little uncomfortable. Why did Tyler want to know this?
"Huh." Tyler said quietly, gaze penetrating. Josh swallowed, shifting in his seat. Tyler stared at Josh for a few more moments, searching for something it seemed. Josh stared back, itching to get up and leave. He was getting too uncomfortable.
At that moment, the waitress came with their drinks. The spell between the boys was broken, and Josh cleared his throat before thanking the woman. He took a long sip from his drink, not noticing how Tyler stared at the way Josh's pink lips sucked on the straw. Tyler licked his lips, transfixed on the sight, before snapping out of his reverie and clearing away the plethora of dirty thoughts that flitted through his mind.
"I honestly came here to tell you something," Josh said once he finished taking a drink.
Tyler raised an eyebrow. "And that is?"
"I'm not interested," Josh said firmly. "You may have told Audrey that you just want to be friends, but I'm not about to believe that right away."
The ghost of a smirk appeared on Tyler's face. "What makes you think that I want to be more than friends?"
Josh rolled his eyes. "I'm not stupid, Mr. Joseph."
Tyler's eyes widened slightly at how Josh called him 'Mr. Joseph'. Sure, it was a form of respect (Tyler was a rich and famous businessman), but the name made Tyler want to do countless things to Josh.
"I'm not looking for a relationship right now; whether it's actual feelings or purely sex." Josh said, stumbling a little over the word 'sex'. Tyler chuckled, amused at how easily Josh was flustered.
"Point taken," Tyler said. "But I do really want to be friends."
Josh tilted his head. "Why?"
"I find you interesting. Special." Tyler said simply. "I want to get to know you."
Josh looked away, pink dusting his cheeks. "I'm not special. You probably act like this with tons of other people."
"You're the most special man I've laid my eyes on." Tyler murmured, smirking just a little.
"Don't lie, Mr. Joseph." Josh huffed, rolling his eyes again.
"I'm not."
"Oh, yes, you are." Josh looked at Tyler with an irritated look in his eye. "You're just a playboy, looking for his next fling."
