Dates were a thing Josh wasn't very familiar with.
He's gone on like three in his total 28 years of life. So, Josh is already inexperienced at dates. Add a glorious, arrogant man to the equation (that Josh can't decide if he hates or likes), and Josh is on the brink of a breakdown.
Luckily, Audrey saves the day. Of course, she isn't able to escape Josh's lecture about handing out his number.
"Josh, he begged me for it." She said as she rummaged through his closet.
"That doesn't mean you have to give it to him!" Josh muttered. "Now I'm stuck on a date with him."
Audrey chuckled. "Stop pretending like you aren't excited."
"I'm not!" Josh squawked indignantly.
"Okay, Josh."
"...Stop talking like that!" Josh shouted.
Audrey looked up from the closet. "Like what?"
"Like if you're just...saying that to make me happy." Josh pouted, brow furrowing.
Audrey sighed, but stood up with an outfit in her hands. "Put this on."
Josh narrowed his eyes, inspecting the clothes. "Those are awfully tight pants."
"Yeah. They're your tightest skinny jeans." Audrey pushed the clothes into Josh's hands.
"Why are you making me wear my tightest skinny jeans?" Josh questioned, before a suspicious look manifested on his face.
"I'm trying to make your ass as noticeable as possible," Audrey said sarcastically.
"Well, you did give him my number! I wouldn't be surprised if you did try that." Josh scoffed, but changed into the outfit. It was just a simple, black long-sleeved shirt (which was also pretty tight) and skinny jeans.
"Well, if you don't... you know, if he doesn't bone you hard and fast, he at least gets to see a nice ass." Audrey said bluntly.
Josh choked on air. "Do not say the word 'bone' in that context ever again."
"Bone," Audrey snickered, dragging the word out. "The dance with no pants. The hanky panky. Slam the ham. Shuck the oyster. Butter the biscuit. Hit a home run. Shake the trailer. Bump uglies. Plug the - "
"Okay!" Josh interrupted loudly. "Okay, I get your point. But I don't plan on doing any of that. It's a date. And I was practically forced into it."
"Um, you are very much incorrect because I know you and I know that you wouldn't have accepted to that date if you didn't want to go." Audrey gathered the clothes that she had thrown out in search for Josh's outfit and shoved it all back into the closet. "Now, hurry up and get ready because your date is in five minutes."
"What?!" Josh shrieked, hopping off his bed and quickly trying to pat down his unruly hair.
"You have four minutes to be out that door and in your car, or you'll be late." Audrey informed Josh, watching as he sped around his room, trying to appear decent.
"I hate you. I wouldn't be in this problem if you hadn't given him my number or if you hadn't forced me to go to your stupid party."
"No, you love me." Audrey beamed. "You love me lots."
Josh finally grabbed his keys and hurried out. "No, I really am quite pissed at you."
Audrey followed, giggling. "No, you aren't. You have two minutes."
"Oh, jeez, I hope he isn't there already." The blue-haired boy quickly pulled on his Vans.
"Why would you care if he's there or not?" Audrey asked. "It's not like you want to impress him or let him down, right?"
Josh stopped in his frenzy and gave her a look.
Audrey stared back, before her gaze shifted to the clock on the wall. "One minute."
Josh groaned, but yanked open the door and ran out.
"Have fun!" Audrey shouted, waving from the door. "Use protection!"
"I hate you!"

Tyler looked heavenly.
Then again, Tyler always looked great. But in a hoodie and jeans....
Tyler noticed Josh coming in and smiled slightly, motioning to the seat in front of him. This restaurant wasn't as fancy as the one before, but it was still more expensive than others.
"Hello, Josh." Tyler greeted, smile growing a little.
"You look like a god," Josh blurted.
Hey, give him a break. He was late and nervous and Audrey had been sending him texts that told Josh things he did not want to know about sex, just to spite him.
Tyler stared at Josh, actually caught off guard for once. He blinked, before opening his mouth to try to say something. He floundered for a second before saying, "...okay?"
"I didn't mean to say that," Josh quickly hurried to say, face hot.
"Um, alright."
"Alright." Josh echoed, staring back at Tyler.
Tyler's gaze shifted around, uncomfortable. "Are you going to order something or...?"
"Right!" Josh said too loudly, looking down at his menu. His palms felt sweaty and his stomach was doing weird flops.
Tyler chuckled but looked down at his own menu. Josh took the opportunity to watch Tyler and look at him carefully, practically drooling over the man's beauty. Then, Tyler looked up and, at being caught, Josh quickly pushed his menu up to hide his face and pretended to be 110% into his menu.
"Have you chosen something?" Tyler asked, sounding amused.
"Um, not yet. Just order for me again." Josh answered, closing the menu and setting it down. To prevent from staring at Tyler, Josh traced the design of the tablecloth with his gaze, trying to calm his racing heart.
"Okay, Josh." The corner of Tyler's lips quirked up, and he waved the waitress over. After telling her their order, he turned back to Josh.
"Look, this may be a 'date' or whatever, but I'm only here because I'm repaying the debt of your car." Josh felt the need to clarify. "It's not like I'm into you or anything."
Tyler sat back and watched Josh babble on, entertained.
"So this date thing won't happen again, because as I've said before, I am not interested, Mr. Joseph." Josh finished saying, ending with an imperative tone.
Tyler looked like he was fighting a smile off his face. "Alright, Josh."
Josh shifted in his seat, face still serious and determined. "Okay then."
"I like your jeans." Tyler smirked. "They give a nice form to your body."
Was Tyler seriously hinting that he had looked at Josh's ass? The mere thought made Josh flustered and weakened his force all over again.
"Uh, th-thank you." Josh swallowed, his voice cracking. He cleared his throat, shifting in his seat again.
Tyler wasn't done, though. He wanted to see just how far he could push Josh. "But I'm sure your body just has a nice form to it naturally. It's too bad I won't ever get to see."
Josh's mouth suddenly felt very dry. He took a sip of water, and wiped his palms off on his jeans. "Uh, yeah, that's such a shame."
"I would do a lot of things to you if you would let me." Tyler said softly, gaze penetrating. Of course, he was being teasing on purpose. He wanted Josh to admit that he liked him too.
Red bloomed across Josh's face, and he stared at Tyler with wide eyes. A moment of silence passed, but Josh couldn't help himself from asking, "Like what?"
Tyler smirked, knowing he had Josh whipped. "Oh, lots of fun stuff."
Josh shifted once again in his seat, jeans now a little too tight, since Josh Jr. decided to come by and visit.
"Would you like that?" Tyler asked, tone still soft and seductive, tilting his head.
But Josh didn't get the chance to answer, the waitress hurrying in and setting their plates down on the table. That was what snapped Josh out of his trance, reaching up to pull the collar of his shirt, allowing fresh air in. He thanked the waitress, picking up his fork.
Tyler leaned back, slightly disappointed but also triumphant. He knew he still had a chance with Josh, and he was planning on doing everything in his reach to get Josh.
