I had been staying at camp for two months after Percy left when I got a call. I was walking back to my cabin from the strawberry fields, when my phone started vibrating. I answered the call, and my dad's kind voice echoed through the phone:

Dad: "Hi sweety, is this a good time to talk?"

Me: "I guess, nothing exciting is really happening."

Dad: "Something will soon."

Me: "How do you know?"

Dad: "I signed you up to go to a public school in New York."

Me: "Dad, I haven't been to a real school in 8 years."

Dad: "Which is why you're going now. You're probably way smarter then all of them anyway."

Me: "When will I start?"

Dad: "Monday "

Me: "I'll have to get packing then. I love you, bye."

Dad: "love you too sweetheart, bye."

I hung up the phone and opened my cabin door. I reached under my bunk for the suitcase I rarely ever used, and pull it up onto my bed. I started grabbing necessities out of my trunk, and transfer them to my bag. I finish off with getting my laptop and I put that inside as well.

The hunters of Artemis arrived late that night. Since I was leaving later, the only activity I could participate in was capture-the-flag.

when we defeated Gaea, it was Percy who killed her. his death  blow took her. now, we might not even win at all. today, it is the camp against the hunters. Percy led all off the demigods and hunters to defeat kronos. If I weren't here, there would be no chance camp half blood would ever win. Lucky for us, I have a plan.

"alright, I need Clarrise and Hermes in the trees guarding the flag. that way, it will give the allusion that only one person is guarding and we are all attacking. Travis, Connor, I need them delayed, trap them, do everything you can to keep them out."

"got it!" the stolls shouted as they ran off.

we all got into our formation. surprisingly, it was the same stance we used to guard Olympus when kronos invaded.

the hunters slowly advanced on us. but when Thalia broke off to look for our flag, very discretely, I gave the signal. we trapped Thalia and ran over to get Artemis' flag all at once. we were losing. I pulled out my invisibility cap that finally started working again and weaved my way through the fight.

I haven't told anybody that my hat works again, so they probably think I am fighting. my plan was working. hunters were being trapped and unarmed left and right. then I saw the flag. they must really trust their bows, because I could see some of them in the trees.

when they saw the flag instantly disappear the second I touched it, they were confused. they were confused enough to get out of their trees and look around, but I was already running, and I had the Aphrodite cabin take care of those few hunters. I found my way back to our side to see my team just barely keeping the hunters away from the flag. one Hunter, who looked new to the pack climbed up onto Zeus' fist and jump off with our flag. Malcolm twisted around from the hunter he was previously fighting with, and out of nowhere, attacked the new Hunter. she was disarmed and didn't know what to do. Malcolm won the fight in five minutes. I felt sorry for the girl. she didn't have any training and dropped her flag. I ran over, grabbed our flag of the ground and climbed up onto Zeus' fist with the red flag in my right hand and the blue in my left. I took off the cap and screamed "Victory!"

cheers erupted from the camp.
