Counting the time that Irene had with Luhan is the hardest part of her life. Everyday she counts the time left. Every second fills with sigh. She loves him and she understands, but still, it's hard for her.

"Hello" Irene speaks softly when Luhan called her.

"Hyunie, I think we can't have our lunch together, my mother comes and she forces me to go with her, mianhae" Luhan talks softly. Irene remains silent 

"Hello? Hyunie?" Luhan raises his voice.

"Umm, yes, it's okay Hanie, we have tomorrow——-" Irene stops her words. The pain comes to her heart. There is no tomorrow. Tomorrow is Luhan's wedding.

"Bae Joohyun, mianhae" Luhan's voice cracks. Irene stares blankly at the window inside her office. She can't breath. Her heart beats so fast. It's too painfull for her.

"Hyunie, I——-" Irene cuts Luhan's words by ended the conversation. The next second, she cries like crazy. She hardly catches her breath. 

"Aaaaah, it hurts" Irene shouts her pain out but it still hurts. She can't stop her own tears. It keeps flowing down her cheeks. She thought she can be tough but she is wrong.

Her phone never stop ringing. Luhan calls her continuously because Irene ended up their conversation so sudden. Luhan is panic and worry. He knows why Irene did that. It must be hard for her.

"Bae Joohyun, jebal" Luhan whispers to himself. Feels so hopeless and lifeless.

"Son" His mother's voice makes him end the call. He turns his face and fakes a smile.

"Come on, we should go now" His mother smiles and drags him out.

Irene skips her lunch and distracts herself by working so hard. She starts to feel dizzy but she ignores it. She reads all the proposals without resting. Suddenly her phone rings.

"Hello" She picks up with a weak voice.

"Miss Bae, I just want to remind you about the meeting at 2 pm" Her secretary talks from the other line.

"Okay, thank you for reminding" Irene talks softly and hangs up.

She sighs really hard and leans her back. She closes her eyes but Luhan's face appears. It makes her crazy. Her tears immediately fall from her eyes. Luhan is her happiness and her pain. 

Irene slaps herself and reminds herself that she should understand. Slowly, she wipes her tears and stands up from her seat. She walks out from her office for the meeting eventhough it's still half hour later.

"Miss" Her secretary immediately bows to her.

"I will go to the meeting room now, you can go there later" Irene fakes a smile and walks. She feels so dizzy and stops for a while *Why am I so dizzy? I just skip my meal once* Irene thought.

Irene takes a deep breath and starts to walk again. One step, two steps, three steps, the next step she falls to the floor and she can't see anything. It becomes black. 

"Miss Bae! Miss Bae!" Irene can hear her secretary shouting her name but she can't open her eyes and her lips froze.

"Help me! Help me!" That's the last thing she hears from her secretary.

Luhan is really mad right now. His mother brings Gayoon with her. Luhan really wants to yell but he can't. His mother and Gayoon bring him to watch Gayoon using her wedding dress.

"It's really late to fitting your wedding dress, Luhan is too busy" His mother smiles to Gayoon before she fits her dress. All this time Luhan avoids this moment.

"Luhan, look at me, how about this one?" Gayoon asks Luhan excitedly when she gets out from the fitting room. Luhan turns his face slowly and gives her a death glare.

"It's you who want to marry, you ask yourself" Luhan snaps at Gayoon.

"Ommonim" Gayoon whines to his mother and it's irritating him.

"Luhan" His mother talks softly.

"Do you really want to know? The honest opinion of mine?" Luhan asks. Gayoon nods immediately.

"For me, you will always ugly, so choose what you want, I have no time for this" Luhan yells and stands up. He grabs his blazer and walks away.

"Luhan!" His mother yells to him and he froze.

"It's tomorrow, did you want to act like this?" His mother's voice cracks. Luhan bites his lips and throws his blazer.

"Arraseo! I will follow what you want! Your happiness is the most important thing! My happiness is nothing" Luhan shouts and throws his ass to the couch again.

His mother watches his son acted like that and half of her heart hurts. She knows that she hurts her own son. But half of her hearts talks that Gayoon is the best for him.

"Luhan, am I pretty?" Gayoon asks Luhan like nothing happened.

"Hmmm" Luhan hums without looking into Gayoon.

"Luhan, this is you tux, what do you think?" Another question from Gayoon.

"Nice" Luhan talks while staring blankly at his phone. He texts Irene but nothing he got until now.

Worry fills his heart. He wants to be with Irene right now. He hopes he can fly to her. From afar, his mother watches his dark expression. His mother feels sorry to Gayoon because Luhan acts like a jerk towards her.

"Luhan" Suddenly Gayoon sits beside him. Luhan turns his face and Gayoon smiles.

"I'm so happy" Gayoon smiles cutely and it makes Luhan mad.

"Listen, it's just you and my mother that happy, I can't feel happiness, you stole my happiness, you should be happy" Luhan talks softly but his words stab Gayoon's heart.

"I will make you happy, trust me Lu——-"

"Noone will make me happy except Joohyun, don't try to imagine that I will be happy, I will never" Luhan whispers to Gayoon because he doesn't want his mother to hear.

"You win now but someday you will lose" Luhan turns his face away as he saw Gayoon's teary eyes. It makes him sick.

Irene opens her eyes and the dizziness still there. She looks around and all white. It's hospital. She knows it. She turns her face and sees her secretary bulging her eyes.

"Miss Bae, are you alright?" She asks and Irene nods.

"How about the meeting?" Irene asks as she sits on the hospital bed.

"Mr. Lim handled that meeting" Her secretary smiles.

"Ah, I feel bad, I want to go home now" Irene stands up.

"Miss, the doctor wants to meet you, he asked me to talk with him but I'm not your family so I wait until you wake up" Her secretary smiles awkwardly.

"It's okay" Irene chuckles slightly.

"You can go back, I will take the taxi" Irene pats her secretary's arm and smiles.

"Okay Miss, I will go now, please be healthy" Her secretary bows and leaves her.

Irene follows the nurse to Dr. Lee's room. He is his family doctor. She walks slowly as she sighs. She feels the dizziness keep going inside her head. Suddenly the nurse stops and Irene bumps into her. She apologizes as the nurse opens the door for her.

"Thank you" Irene smiles and gets in.

"Joohyun" Dr. Lee smiles to her and asks her to sit down. Irene sits and smiles back.

"How do you feel right now?" He asks.

"Still dizzy but it's better" Irene smiles.

"Did you skip your lunch?" Dr. Lee asks again. Irene nods and smiles awkwardly.

"Wae? You shouldn't do that, you feed for two now" Dr. Lee smiles but Irene stares blankly at him.

"Chukkhae, Joohyun, you will be a mother soon, your baby is healthy and 7 weeks old" Dr. Lee gives a paper to Irene but Irene keeps staring at him. She can't believe what she heard.

"It makes me wonder who is the lucky guy" The doctor jokes as he hands the paper. Irene fakes a smile.

"Thank you" Irene takes a look at the paper and sighs secetly.

"I should leave now, I need to eat" Irene lies to him. She bows to him before walks out from his room.

Irene's legs are too weak to walk. Irene sits on the bench near the doctor's room. Her eyes land on the paper. She reads through and sighs hard.

"God, why did you do this to me?" She whispers as she closes her eyes. Her body starts shaking. Her tears starts falling from her eyes. Her hand clenches. She hits the bench with her hand.

"God, I can't" Irene cries. She doesn't know what she feels right now. All too complicated. She falls into dilemma. 

"Help me" Irene keeps crying alone. She puts her palm on her chest. She can feel the hearbeat is too fast.

Irene hears the bell ring. She runs to the front door because she knew it's Wendy. She called Wendy earlier. She opens the door and runs to Wendy's hug. 

"Gwaenchana eonnie, I'm here" Wendy pats Irene's back. Wendy thinks it's because of Luhan's wedding.

"Wendy, help me" Irene stares into Wendy's eyes.

"I can't keep it alone but please don't tell anyone else, even Kris" Irene pleaded.

"I will keep your secret, I promise" Wendy looks at Irene. Wendy knows something hard happen in Irene's life.

"I'm pregnant" Irene bites her lips. Wendy covers her mouth. Wendy is shock.

"Eonnie——"

"The baby's father will marry tomorrow" Irene cries. She grabs Wendy's shoulder because she can't stand well. Her legs weak.

"It hurts!" Irene shouts frustratedly. Wendy pulls Irene into her embrace.

"Eonnie——-" Wendy is speechless. She can't say anything. Irene hugs Wendy back.

"Wendy, I will leave this house, I can't live in Seoul" Irene's confession makes Wendy broke the hug.

"Are you crazy?" Wendy shouts.

"Wendy, everything is too late" Irene holds her tears. She tries to be tough.

"Eonnie——"

"Wendy, his mother will force me to abort my baby, or she will take my baby away if she knew" Irene talks.

"But——-"

"Will you help me to keep all this from Luhan and Kris?" Irene always cut Wendy's words. 

Irene knows that her excuse is too weak for Wendy. That's right. Irene just wants to disappear from this complicated life. She wants to run away. Suddenly she feels so tired.

"You are the only one that I trust, I will move to Daegu, I have a house there, remember? We play a lot in that house when we were young" Irene smiles. She convinces Wendy.

"Can you stay?" Wendy asks softly. Her eyes full of tears.

"It's too painfull for me to stay, let me be happy" Irene's eyes beg to Wendy. A loud sigh leave Wendy's lips.

"I know everything is hurting you right now, will you be alright there? You are alone and pregnant" Wendy bites her lips.

"I will be alright, trust me Wendy" Irene is trying hard to hold her tears.

"What about Luhan? He will cry over you" Wendy's words stab Irene's heart.

"This is the best for us right now, if he knew about this, he will run away with me, maybe his mother's life will break into pieces" Irene sighs. For hundred times, she tries to not become a selfish bitch.

"No, it's killing both of you" Wendy raises her voice.

"Wendy, mianhae" Irene pats Wendy's shoulder.

"I trust you, visit me often, don't tell Kris or Luhan, I beg" Irene begs with a teary eyes. Wendy stares blankly at Irene. Wendy knows that she will do the same if she was in Irene's position, she will run away and start a new life. 

"Arraseo eonnie" Wendy smiles softly. She wants to show Irene courages.

"Gomawo" Irene smiles. She feels so relief. She will run away and never look back. All the things that Luhan said to Irene is too blurry. Irene will never know how long she should wait. This second, she doubt herself and all her promises. Eventhough all the promises fall into pieces, she will always love Luhan. There is no doubt about that.
