Two day passes, nothing good comes up. Luhan's mother always get an injection when she wakes up and immediately falls asleep. Luhan's mother will cry and shout crazily. Luhan can't see his mother like that so he decided to gives his mother a sedative injection.

Luhan really in a huge confussion. He doesn't know what to do. The police officers can't find or reach his father. It's been two days and his hope slowly disappears. If there is no Irene beside him, maybe he already broke. He feels thank to Irene because she always there to hold his hand and hug him.

Luhan walks slowly from the police station as he stares blankly. When Irene feels his presence, she hurriedly runs to him and holds his hand.

"They close the case" Luhan speaks with a blank stare. Irene just stares at him and pulls him into her hug. Nothing she can do beside comforting him.

"I think we should start to accept the reality, I should accept it" Luhan hugs Irene back and quietly cries.

"Hanie" Irene's voice cracks. She feels so useless.

"I'm alright Hyunie, I will through this as long as you beside me" Luhan hugs Irene tight.

"Please don't leave me, I need you to face this reality" Luhan continues. Irene feels like de javu. She can feel the sadness when her family got into a car crash.

"I won't leave you, I will stay beside you, you can lean on me" Irene pats Luhan's back softly. Luhan closes his eyes and cries. It's only Irene that make him strong right now.

Irene POV's

I find out myself run behind Luhan. He rushes to his mother's room because the doctor can't inject her again for today. This is tiring but I stay beside him. He is more tired than me. He physically and mentally tired. When he opens the door, I can hear his mother's cry. It wasn't like the other day, she is more calm but her cry shows a great pain.

"Eomma, I'm here" Luhan hugs his mother. I can just watch them from the door. Gayoon is beside my Hanie. I don't want to make his mother more stress.

"Luhan, your father----" His mother's words stop because her own tears. I can feel her pain. This scene is breaking my heart.

"Eomma, mianhae" Luhan cries again. He cries again. I really want to run and hug him but I can't do that.

"Aaah, ottoke? My husband" His mother is shouting and it breaks my heart into pieces.

"Eomma, jebal, I'm here with you, I won't leave you" Luhan really tries his best to comfort his mother.

"I just have you now" His mother hugs him really tight and cries. I look away and I can feel my own tears on my cheek. 

"How can I survive?" I can hear his mother is asking to him.

"You can survive eomma, you have me, I will always there for you, I will make you happy" Luhan's gentle voice gives me goosebumps. I can feel concern and sincerity inside his voice.

"Can you do me a favor? To make me happy" His mother's voice makes me turn my face. I see his mother and Gayoon are staring at each other.

"Marry Gayoon" His mother's words make me blank. I just stare and wait for Hanie's reaction.

"It's the only way to make me happy again, I just have you now, I want you to marry with her, I beg you my son" I close my eyes as I hear their conversation. My head starts to hurt because I hold my tears.

There is a long silence. It's uncomfortable. I'm dying. It's killing me "Arraseo eomma, I'll do anything to make you happy" Luhan speaks. His words stab my heart. Now I really die.

I take step back as I watch Luhan hugging his mom. I close the door slowly. Before the door really shut, Gayoon flashes a smirk to me. Yes, she wins this time. I'm a loser.

I walk to the chair near the room. I sit there and lean my head on the wall. Start when I close my eyes, the tears keep flowing from my eyes. I can't cry in silent. I cry loudly. I can't control my own voice. I keep shouting as I cry. I feel a great pain that I can't explain it by myself. It hurts too much, you can't imagine how broke I am.

Luhan drags his legs out from the room. He is lifeless. He is in a great dilemma. He loves both Irene and his mother. In this situation, he needs to put his mother first. He covers his face frustratedly. He really wants to shout and yell and mad and angry. All his happiness disappear in one second.

"Hanie" Suddenly Irene calls him. She watches him all this time. She watches his expression. She realizes that Luhan is in a dilemma.

"Hyunie" Luhan stares at Irene. He knows that Irene cried before. He walks to Irene and sits beside her. He immediately hugs her tight and cries.

Irene's eyes widen. She can feel his pain. They are both in pain. Irene wraps her arms around Luhan's waist and she holds her tears.

"What should I do? Hyunie, help me" Luhan cries to her.

"Mianhae" Luhan continues. Irene's heart beats so fast because of the pain.

"I understand" Irene pats Luhan's back. She doesn't want to make him feel guilty towards her even she needs to lie. She doesn't want to make him more stress and frustrate. She did all because she really loves him, she doesn't want to see him like this. He already broke because of his father. She can't hurt him more because of her selfishness.

"How can you understand? It hurts you and it hurts me" Luhan talks with a shaking voice.

"I understand Hanie, I'm alright" Irene lies to Luhan. Sweet lie is needed right now. Irene really throws her selfishness and she tries to understand Luhan's situation.

"I will do the same if I was on your position" Irene didn't lie this time. Family goes first.

"Your mother needs you more than I need you" She starts lying again. She didn't cry because she knows when Luhan saw her cry, he will feel guilty.

"Bae Joohyun, I want you, help me" Luhan cries as he bites his lips. This situation is killing him.

"I want you my fiance" Luhan's words bring tears to Irene. She starts to cry in silent. It's just her tears that flowing down from her eyes, no sound.

"I love you so much, why did this happen to us?" Luhan half yelling. He feels that life is unfair for them.

"I don't want to let you go, I need you baby" Luhan keeps telling her what he feels. He really wants to make his mother happy but in the other hand, he wants to be with Irene.

Irene broke the hug and stares deep into Luhan's eyes. She really wants to cry when she realizes that his eyes full of pain and sadness.

"Hanie" Irene reaches out her hand and caress Luhan's cheek.

"Your mother really needs you, she just have you, it's okay baby, you choose the right thing" Irene fakes a smile to Luhan.

"I know you lied to me" Luhan stares deeply into Irene's eyes.

"I'm not lying, I love you so much, but your mother loves you the most Hanie" Irene smiles. She will get the best actress because of her acting right now.

"What should I do?" Luhan asks her. He feels hopeless. He feels like every single happiness in his life disappears.

"You should make your mother happy" Irene caress Luhan's cheek. She knows that Luhan really loves her. All on his eyes.

"I trust you" Irene talks to him. She trusts him but she didn't trust herself. She only trusts herself when Luhan around.

Irene slowly puts all her clothes inside the luggage. It's hard for her. It's hard for Luhan. Irene needs to leave tonight because tomorrow, his mother will start to live with him. After Luhan agree with the marriage, his mother condition is better.

"Hyunie" Luhan calls Irene. He walks closer and backhugs her. He kiss her hair and tries to remember her scent.

"Don't leave me" Luhan whispers to her. Irene sighs really hard. She doesn't want to leave as well but no choice.

"This is hard for me, let's run away" Luhan hopelessly speaks.

"What about your mother?" Irene asks. She wants him to get away from his dilemma. It's killing her to see him like this. She is willing to hurt herself just to see Luhan happy.

"I really mad at myself right now, I hurt you with my family's situation" Luhan closes his eyes and bites his lips.

"No, you never hurt me, you just teach me to be mature" Irene convinces Luhan. She becomes more mature but at the same time she really wants to be a childish and selfish bitch.

Luhan holds Irene as they walk to the front door. Luhan really wants to stop the time. He never wants her to leave him alone. His eyes never leave her.

"Miss" Yumi calls Irene as she gives Irene the luggage. Yumi can't smile. She feels sad because Irene leaves the mansion.

"Thank you Yumi" Irene gives the final smile to Yumi. When Yumi leaves, Irene turns her face to Luhan. She can see Luhan's pleaded eyes.

"I want to say thank for all this time, you help me, you make me happy, remember that I still keep the promise, I'll give you anything as I promise" Irene smiles and touches her luggage. Luhan just watches every move she made.

"I'll go now" Irene smiles to Luhan and pulls her luggage away from him. All the time, Luhan just stares at her and watches her. He is speechless. He is lifeless. He is falling into pieces.

Irene pulls her luggage to the gate. She feels relief because Luhan didn't run after her. It will be hard for her if he did that. Irene turns her face and stares at his mansion for the last time. In a second, all the memories play inside her head. Sweet and bitter, all happened there.

A sigh leaves her lips as she looks straight into the gate again *This is the time, become mature is hard but I have to do this for my love* She thought.

"Bae Joohyun!" Suddenly Luhan shouts and runs to her. Irene sighs really hard. She fights her body from turn around but she lost. Her body turns in instant. Luhan immediately pulls her into a hug and gives her lips a kiss. The kiss isn't a passionate one but the kiss is begging her to stay.

"Don't go, I need you, I can't live without you, please, I beg you" Luhan begs to her right after he broke the kiss. Irene stares at Luhan. Luhan makes it hard to leave.

"Hanie---" Irene pauses when Luhan cries infront of her.

"I want you, I want you my fiance" Luhan cries really hard. 

Irene hugs him tight and pats his back. She breathes in all his scent that she will miss so much.

"I need to go Hanie, I'm so sorry" Irene broke the hug. She can see the light on Luhan's eyes disappears. Luhan hurriedly grabs Irene's wrist before she can leave.

"Don't avoid me, let's keep in touch, I will come to your office or to your house, I will look for you, please let me meet you, that's the only way for me to survive" Luhan pleaded. Irene really wants to hug him and kiss him. She can't see him like this. But she just nods to him and smiles. Because when she starts to talk, it will be hard for her to leave.
