Chapter 1
-//Milo belongs to @LovelySinBin\\-
"If you don't hurry up, we'll get caught." A male whispered harshly to his partner.
"I'm just being careful!" A female whispered back, catching up to her partner.
"I know you used to live here but this isn't the time for sightseeing." He looked down at her after scanning the area for workers.
"Milo, I ran away from here because I hated it. Why would I be sightseeing?" She crossed her arms, Milo's white Toxic Lizard Pokemon looking around from his perch on Milo's shoulder. He shrugged, causing his Pokemon to hold onto his shoulder.
"You never know, Sara. You might miss your father, or Miss Lusamine."
"I will never miss that wretch. Let's keep going. I want to get back to Po Town." Sara walked forward after looking around, making sure no one would see her. She walked quickly and almost silently to the next stack of boxes then looked back at Milo. The two did this until they reached the triangular elevator. Once on the elevator, Milo started the ascent with a keycard he had "borrowed" from a worker once they had gotten off their boat. Sara looked at Milo.
"We could've gotten here a lot quicker if we stole two uniforms."
"Yea but if the workers that we stole the uniforms from informed other workers, they'd find us almost immediately." Sara laughed slightly. The albino male eyed her, "What's funny?"
"You actually sound like you have a plan instead of rushing into things like you normally do."
"Let's just focus on not getting caught." The two arrived to the top floor, or the Conservation Area, and Milo looked around. "There are a lot of workers up here. How should we get the Pokemon?"
"Distractions maybe?" She smirked slightly and sent out her blue, quadruped Wolf Pokemon. "Want to help out, Wolfie?" Wolfie barked in agreement and started to sniff the air.
"Diablo, go with Wolfie to help out." Diablo agreed by crawling down Milo's arm and onto the shiny lycanroc's back. Once the two Pokemon ran off, Milo looked down at his blonde partner. "Let's get to work." Sara nodded and started to walk off when Milo stopped her saying, "It'd probably be better if we stuck together this time. These guys can put up a good fight, and we don't want you falling over and making a scene like last time." The last comment made her glare at him and she shrugged.
"I'll be fine by myself."
"You don't have Wolfie."
"Eeeeeh good point." Wolfie was Sara's strongest and most loyal Pokemon, which is why she sent him to help distract.
The two walked quietly through the conservation area, making sure to stay close to each other. They came across a Plusle and a Minun, cornered by a Primeape and a Mankey. Sara ran over, without much thought, to the two Cheering Pokemon and picked both up gently, all before Milo could stop her. An alarm sounded and the two looked at each other.
"Sara, we have to leave now! Where's the boat?" Milo had picked up the Mankey as Wolfie and Diablo ran up to them.
"It should be downstairs where we left it!" The two were yelling over the alarm but started running towards the elevator, only to find it full of workers, including Faba. The two turned around and Milo yelled at her.
"Is there any way you could get a boat over here?" Sara nodded and pulled a controller out of her small bag. A moment later, they came to a window and stopped.
"Jump out the window!"
"What?! That's suicide!"
"The boat is there!" Without another word, Sara jumped out the window, landing on the small boat, waving the Milo to come down. He jumped down and placed the Mankey on the bottom of the boat.
"This isn't our boat." Milo looked at her, "This is an Aether Foundation boat."
"Yea well I borrowed some boat controls like you borrowed a key card. Now let's get going!" Milo nodded and started the boat, speeding off just as other Aether Foundation boats followed them.
"You better hold onto the boat and the Pokemon, Sara!" She could barely hear him as he sped the boat up suddenly, almost making her fall off the back. She grabbed onto the three Pokemon with one hand and the boat with the other hand, having put her hat in her bag so it wouldn't get lost at sea.
"Give me a better warning next time!" Milo didn't hear her over his own excitement. He was obviously enjoying driving a boat at this speed.
"Next stop, Po Town!"
//Yea yea it's shorter than my normal chapters. I wanted this to be a shorter story so that means shorter chapters. Milo isn't my character. The wonderful albino male belongs to one of my very good friends, who is mentioned above! Thanks for reading, and yes I do plan on actually updating this book...
