Sad Poetry Dump Pt. 10
It's been quite a while since I've done one of these. I apologize for the wait, but here's yet another set of sad poems written by yours truly. <3
Heal My Hurt
If it were two a.m.,
and my heart hurt,
would you heal me?
If nothing seemed right,
and life put me through agony,
would you have enough bravery for us both?
If all appeared hopeless,
and I wanted it to end,
would you let me go?
Or would you simply say no,
talk me from the edge,
and hold me til I fell asleep?
My heart needs healed,
could you be my shield?
Would you save me from
the rocks that life throws?
If you'd do that,
things wouldn't seem too important anymore,
and everything would fall into place.

I don't really rmemeber writing this one, so I'm not positive of where it came from. However, I can guess that I was probably getting inside my head too much about life.
I Am Blind?
The world thinks I am blind.
The flaws they see,
are not really there to me,
they show up as beauty.
Not wanting to change myself
is bad to them.
Why can't what I am already be enough?
Why do they say my best can always be better?
Is my best worth less
because they think I possess even more?
I'd hate to disappoint,
but it should be addressed.
I am fine the way I am,
blind, and apparently, dumb.

I'm kind of in love with this poem, especially the last bit. It's about society's views versus my own, and me having enough of the criticism.
Your Sun
I'm your sun.
I'm inspired by tragedy,
I think Romeo & Juliet is divine.
My life's purpose,
is to achieve the greatest calamity.
No one will stop me.
My well-being is collateral damage.
My brain will be left with the wreckage,
and as for my heart,
well, that's already disappeared.
In catastrophe, there's no disappointment.
I can't make anyone heartbroken,
when I create my own misfortune.
Perhaps, there's one exception?
Maybe if one was to read my story,
they'd see my inner glory,
my desire wasn't really disaster.
Their eyes would light up with joy,
only to be filled with sorrow once again.
I'd fail them like the sun does the moon,
lighting up their life only to leave.

So, this one does take a little more explaining than the previous ones. First, when I said, "I cant make anyone heartbroken / when I create my own misfortune," I meant that when people cause their own problems, people have less empathy for them (usually at least.) Overall, the poem is about an already heartbroken person, who doesn't see the point in trying to pursue happiness.
The Brightest Beauty
Fair hair,
and blue eyes,
in a land where all hope dies.
Kind-hearted,
and free,
the brightest beauty that all could see.
She lived with the truth,
a heavy burden to bear,
yet this didn't dim her flair.
Life set a snare,
but like a rabbit, she flew,
and in her mind she knew,
they'd chase her to the ends of the Earth,
until she could no longer sing to the souls of the heartbroken.

This one was actually written a loooongggg time ago. I made a character who was a genuinely nice person who "collected" broken-hearted people that the world wanted to throw away. This made the world mad at her.
I hope you enjoyed these four poems!
Lmao anyways thanks for reading
