~Touka's POV~

Me and Hinami were sitting on the floor by a round table. I was teaching her how to read, like I do everyday.

"Mm. Touka-chan, how do you say this?" She says pointing to word. I looked over the word.

"It's Cherish." (Not a hard word but who gives a damn xD ik what I'm doing)

" cheer-ish?" She says in a confused tone. I giggled softly.

"Ok copy me. Cher?"

"Cher"

"Ish?"

"Ish"

"Cherish!" She said happily, but then frowned. "What does that mean?"

"Well. It means...to protect and care for someone lovingly..in other words. To care deeply about someone or something..." I say sadly. She stayed quiet for a while, deep in thought. She puts the book down and tuns to me.

"Touka-chan, who do you Cher...ish...?" I looked at her a bit surprised. I looked away and stayed silent. Well.. I have lots to cherish...my dad, my friends... And a few more.

"Well... I have a lot of people I cherish.." I said quietly.

"Gomenasai...did I upset you?" I looked up to her and smiled at her.

"No no. Now keep on reading.." I said.

~Reader-chan's POV~

I entered the hospital building and went up to the women in the front counter.

"Good afternoon ma'am, can I help you?"

"Good afternoon. I'm visiting (bff/n) (bff/ln). Can you tell me what room he's in?" (That's right your friend is a guy deal with it xD) My body stiffens for a moment.

"Sure, let's see." She went to her computer and searched his name. I stayed quiet, waiting.

"Ah. Found him" she said turning her chair to face me. "He's in the the third floor, in room 185AC" She said with smile. My body relaxed and I managed to smile back.

"Thank you. Have a nice day" I said and walked to the elevator. I pushed the up button and waited for the elevator with an unreadable expression. I wonder what happened to him. He's always getting hurt, that clumsy (bff/n).

The elevator door opened letting people out. When the flood of people came out, I went in and pressed the number 3 button and leaned against wall. I looked around at the almost crowded elevator. I tried to keep myself from not killing and eating these people. I sighed in frustration and crossed my arms.

When I reached the third floor, I got and immediately started searching for is room. Minutes passed and I gave up. I walked up to a person that worked here and asked for directions to his room.

"Um excuse me. Can you tell me where is room 185AC is?" She smiled and motioned me to follow her. She started walking and I followed a bit behind. We walked to the other side of the building and turned a long left.

When we got there. I faced her and bowed and smiled. She smiled back and went back to the direction we came from. I turned around and knocked on the door.

"Come in.." I went inside and waved smally.

"Konichiwa (bff/n)-kun~" I said happily.

"Ah." He placed his cup down, "(y/n)-chan, you came!" He said cheerfully. I closed the door behind me and sat in a chair next to him. "What happen now?" I said while tilting my head. He chuckled.

"I got into another bike accident." He said while shaking his him. I bit my bottom lip.

"How?"

" A car almost killed me.. He crashed me with my bike and drove over my legs.." I gave him a painful look.

"Ouch.." He nodded.

"But the doctor said, I'll get out the hospital in a week and I'll be in crouches for a month or two."

"That driver broke your legs that bad? damn" I said. I imagined him riding his bike peacefully, when I guy just suddenly hits him. The sound of his bones cracking and blood spilling everywhere. I looked his legs with a worried look.

"Hm. Something wrong (y/n)-chan?" He asked while drinking..whatever he's drinking. I shook my head.

"No, just imaging how painful that was for you" giggled nervously. He shrugged. "How was your day (bff/n)?" I asked, changing the subject.

"Eh, boring. I had doctors checking up on me all day, and I just watch t.v all day. Which can get boring after a while... And yours?"

"It was ok. I mean I didn't do much, I just went to work then hung out with my boyfriend" I said nervously. Why am I so nervous. Damn, I feel like I'm going to get embarrassed.

Suddenly, I got a message. I took out phone and looked over at the message.

Kaneki:

(Y/n) come here quick. Something bad just happen!

"Hey I gotta go. I'll visit you again soon!" I patted his head and left his room. I speed walked to the stairs and went down to the first floor. I quickly exited the building and place my phone in my pocket. I ran to Anteiku as fast I could, taking all the short cuts, and dodging all the people.

When I arrived I quickly went in.

"What happened!?" I said in a very concerned voice. Then my eyes widen and saw blood everywhere.
