I was downstairs waiting for Katlyn to come downstairs with a smile, we were about to leave for a christmas party at Aph's where we were going to exchange gifts, Katelyn and I had already opened our gifts for each other. And we had all the gifts for the others in a few bags by the door, things like new piping bags for Kc or a new sweat shirt for Zane that wasn't all black. The gifts had been there for months now.

I look at the time and realize that if we don't get going soon than we are going to be late, I start walking up the stairs and call up to her "Babe, we're going to be late!" almost immediately as I said that she opened the door and walked out all beautiful and ready for the party, a gift in her hand, I looked at it slightly confused and she pretend to not notice as she walked over and grabbed my hand "Then let's get going silly" She said with as smile.

I nodded a bit and led her to the door, picking up the bags and bringing her out to the car, I set the bags in the back before hopping in the driver's seat and starting the car before buckling up. I expected Katlyn to put the gift in the back seat but instead she sat in the passenger seat and buckled up before holding the gift close to herself.

She was practically hugging the gift as I began driving and I couldn't help but wonder what was in the gift and who it was for. Although I didn't ask, not wanting to bug her. After a minute of driving we got to Aph and Aaron's house and I got out, grabbing the bags again as Katlyn got out as well, walking straight inside, not bothering knocking, i walked in as well as a few of our friends greeted me, Garroth with a big hug "Hello Travis!" I laughed and half hugged back before he pulled away and I went to go put the gifts in the bags under the tree.

Katelyn was walking around and hugging people with as smile as she greeted them, the present still held close to her. Aph saw it and giggled happily, seeming to know what it was, so after I finished putting the gifts there and Katelyn was no longer talking to aph I went over and asked what the gift was.

Aph giggled "I can't tell you" She said with a bright smile. "Why can you not tell me? Can you tell me who it's for?" I asked and she simply shook her head before running away so she wouldn't tell me, it was obvious she wanted to though. I gave up trying to find out what it was, seeing as I'd get to see later.

I walked over to Katelyn and set a hand on her butt with an innocent smile, she laughed a bit and stepped on my toes, still talking to Kc, I winced a bit and moved my hand to her hip instead. I listened to the two talk a minute, it was boring so I went into the kitchen to see how I could help with dinner.

I helped cook (I wasn't actually allowed to touch the stove, despite me telling them that I haven't set any fires) and after a while we were finished and I helped call everyone to dinner. We all sat together, I got sat next to Katlyn, obviously, just like Aph and Aaron got sat next to each other, and Kc and Zane, and Vylad and Dante, Zenix and sasha as well. Everyone else was just sitting randomly, We all happily dug in, talking about how great our days have been and how happy we were. It took me a while to realize Katelyn didn't have the gift still in her arms and I just guessed she set it under the tree.

We finished eating and I gathered some dishes and began to do them when I was called to open gifts with everyone so i went and sat down, managing to grab a spot on the couch before it was all taken.

Katelyn was going to sit on the floor but I convinced her to sit on my lap as everyone was handed a few presents and we all opened those before we got handed more, after a while all the gifts were open except for one more. Katelyn got up and went and grabbed it before anyone else could touch it as she walked back and handed it to me.

She stood there in front of me saying nothing as I looked at it, recognising it as the gift she had brought I looked at her and raised my eyebrows "I thought-" I began and she cut me off "Quit thinking and open it."

I nodded hesitantly and opened it, on the top was a piece of clothing, i picked it up and only after I noticed it was a onsie that said 'baby's first christmas' on it did I notice the positive pregnancy test, and the ultrasound pictures, I began to tear up as I set everything down and hugged her tightly, I spun her around a bit as she laughed and happily hugged back.

I set her down after a moment and just held her close "We're going to be parents..." I kept muttering over and over.  Aph was quietly fangirling in the corner, my confirmation that she knew what was in the gift. Zane could be heard asking "What is going on?"

Katelyn pulled away kissing my cheek with a small laugh before she bent down and grabbed the ultrasound picture before facing everyone and she paused before saying "I'm pregnant" With a bright smile and a few of the others congratulated us both happily.

Holy shit I'm happy with this actually- it's a miracle, lol I just randomly picked a scenario from my book that was one of the Christmas scenarios X3 ))
